Upon arriving the room in the middle of a tught street with reparations going by, it lookwd bad, like a sketchy conduminium. On the room, the minuscle bedside tables were broken and always falling. But the worse was the bathroom: the shower after 5 minutes stoped working out of nowhere. When we asked it to the reception, instead of coming here to see the issue they just said what it was, pretty just it was broken before we got here. On top, the AC was barely working leaving the room like a boilng stew. Horrible place

Location is okay. The whole building was in reconstruction, lots of things hanging in the entrance and stairs and the view was not a view at all, it was covered by plastic and maintenance stuff. The bed was comfortable and we had a bathroom.

I had one of the worst experiences during my 2-night stay at Residenza Due Torri in Bologna. Both mornings, I was rudely awakened at 8:00 AM by the incessant noise of a jackhammer from a construction site within the residence. The noise was absolutely unacceptable, and the management department seemed utterly indifferent to our discomfort. To make matters worse, there was no proper construction protection in the common spaces of the entrance and stairwell. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful stay.

If it could be reviewed for less than one I would gladly do so. I booked a single room to accommodate my mother with asthma problems. As soon as I opened the entrance door to the room I was greeted by a musty stench that they hoped to disguise with the air conditioning on. The single room, last cleaned way back in '97, had a set of cobwebs cascading from the roof to the headboard embroidered with holes and obvious cuts. The wallpaper, torn along the air conditioning pipe, revealed glimpses of mold. I warned the host that we would not be taking the room due to the terrible conditions to which I would certainly never subject my mother or anyone else, he replied that it was all written in the room description. Too bad the aforementioned ornaments were not mentioned anywhere. Nonetheless, I was urged to cancel the reservation to allow him to sell the room, which rightly was not sold and which he would have refunded me even if only in part. No refunds on the horizon. So much bitterness for people who, given a role that should encourage trust, defraud not only local people, I imagine tourists

The room was not particularly clean. The curtain was partially off of the railings, and too high for us to reattach, and so we were unable to completely close the curtains. The shower head was very old and so the water pressure was really bad.

I booked at this property only and exclusively because it was very close to Piazza Maggiore, (even though I knew I had booked at a high price) I would also add the friendliness of the staff. After that there are many negative notes: I definitely don't recommend it, especially for elderly disabled people or families with children and suitcases in tow. You check in in one place and your room is 600 meters away. To get to your room (107) you have to walk up 50 steps. You find yourself a room set up as a quadruple and at a fairly high price.

It is in a great location. Next to Piazza Maggiore and you have everything at your feet. The building is old but the rooms are fully renovated and very spacious. Clean and quiet. It has a shared coffee machine. Upon arrival you must collect the keys from another hotel.

Yet there is something good in you, something that makes you overlook the atmosphere of decay that you perceive as soon as you step into the hall and are hit by the spicy bouquet of damp and mold. I admit it: the photos on which I based my choice had deceived me like my friend Gina's selfies. At sixty, he continues to "filter" on Instagram as one does with ash sifted through gauze after boiling the must. But by dint of ironing out wrinkles, widening the eyes, shrinking the double chin and using every technical device that still makes her look attractive, the result is an evident and plastic artificiality. The three keys that will give you access to the mansion located at the top of a staircase accentuate the unfathomability of some questions that crowd your mind when you enter the mansion. Okay, there is a bathroom, but I'm not saying how much it might cost to plaster it (my cousin would do it for you for thirty euros), but the person you pay to clean it for you might notice some superfluous hair between the sink and the floor. And the wallpaper as pale as the face of Vlad III of Wallachia and which is so "passing by the grandmother you remember when you need the fifty euros that gives you up when you remember to go and visit her"? For everyone, sooner or later, the moment comes when we need to modernize our entire wardrobe. However, I appreciate the effort made with the comfort tarts with an ancient aftertaste. They touched me because they reminded me of snacks at Aunt Silvana's; she, eternal spinster by choice (of the others), never missed, along with caresses, a slap on the wrist as soon as you dared to rummage in the closet of her bedroom where I hid with my brother for fun. And yet... despite everything... regardless (Totò would say), there is a beauty hidden in here, the magic of an unpredictable experience, something that will make you say: "I will never be able to forget you". You must have faith and believe that the enchantment of a Montalian opportunity will still come true. And I, in a Pascalian way, want to believe that you will reveal yourself again, to renew the miracle of your secret essence. Too secret and romantic, like Mimì's attic in "Bohème".

Just don’t do it. Really, don’t. Great location, sort of clean, very musty and dusty, difficult to get hold of the key at their main hotel if you have 2 back packs and a kid. We payed at the main hotel, Hotel Centrale in Vicolo Cattani 7, they gave us a key, we walked back to the Residenza Due Torri in 35 degree heat, were in the room 15 minutes. Listened to the downstairs door buzz constantly, couldn’t open the door to the wardrobe because of the dreadful humidity/musty smell, I could continue but it is too irritating to think about. We picked up the bags, found another hotel within 10 minutes, booked in after checking the room, paid the same again except that it included and amazing breakfast on a rooftop, cancelled the booking on Booking.com hoping that we might get at least a parcial refund for blatant misrepresentation on the part of Residenza Due Torri, but of course, not, because why do the right thing when you are not obliged to due to the circumstances of the booking? Just don’t waste your time. Bologna is too beautiful to stay in a place like that.
