Hotel Giardino in Cesenatico

Hotel Giardino was our base camp for the first three days while cycling in the area. We loved it and will return. I don’t understand the reviews that question the service because everyone we dealt with was lovely and so friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is a pastry-lover’s paradise. If you are looking for a hotel that is a couple blocks away from the craziness of the beach, Giardino is a wonderful little sanctuary to come home at the end of each day, and a great value for the area.

Unexpected gem in Cesenatico!

I booked Hotel Giardino kind of spontaneously (based on a recommendation) – and honestly, I’m amazed. The atmosphere is warm and family-run in the best possible way. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. My room is spotless, the bathroom modern, and I even have a balcony.

But the real surprise? The breakfast – I wasn’t expecting much in the off-season, and it turned out to be amazing: sweet pastries straight from the family’s own bakery (yes, they run one!), and everything I tried was fresh and delicious.

The value for money is exceptional, at least in April. I’m staying two nights, but I could easily imagine staying longer. This place is quiet, charming, and a perfect base for 3–4 days by the sea.

We were greeted by an extremely kind and helpful receptionist who recommended beaches and restaurants.
The room was a bit dated and not very well-maintained. All in all, however, for a short stay like ours, it was fine. In any case, the room was very clean and had everything you'd expect from a hotel room.
All the common areas, however, are vintage in style but beautifully maintained.
The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the sea and a 15-minute walk from Porto Canale.
The highlight, in our experience, was definitely the excellent breakfast: everything was homemade by an exceptional pastry chef.
Brownies, donuts, cakes, piadinas, quiches, scrambled eggs, fruit salad, cookies, and other cakes...everything was truly delicious.

Common areas furnished with intelligence, taste, and a wonderful retro feel. The breakfast is top-notch, healthy, and varied. The staff is smiling, kind, friendly, and polite. Clean rooms, just right for the (low) price. Convenient and affordable on-site parking. Magnificent location, close to everything.

This excellent property is located on Viale Carducci in Cesenatico, close to the sea and the city center. It's clean, well-organized, and offers excellent value. The common areas are furnished in a delightful vintage style, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is amazing, offering both sweet and savory options, complete with delicious homemade delicacies. The young management team is friendly and helpful. A delightful hotel, highly recommended!

I have been frequenting Cesenatico for years now, and this structure was really a surprise in terms of the quality-price ratio and the services offered. The room was really spacious (within the limits of a hotel room), bright and well cleaned. The bathroom (private) had a real shower box with a special shelf for the products inside. The windows, equipped with tilting, were double glazed, truly insulating from external noise. Breakfast was a sweet caress in the morning: delicious home-made cakes, friendly and always smiling staff, attentive to needs, and a decidedly abundant salty area full of alternatives to the usual sliced ​​with bread. Too bad for the doors of the rooms dated and which presented a bit of difficulty when turning the key in the lock. Unfortunately, the rooms are not very isolated from the others: when in one room they kept a tone of voice slightly above the conversation one, the sound came clear in the adjacent rooms. The location is excellent: beach, free and private, just a step away, clubs, bars, restaurants etc. on the same street that leads, after a 10-minute walk, directly to the skyscraper, really comfortable and pleasant for relaxing in the evenings.
Another positive note was the tavern at -1, where you can leave your luggage after check out and, in case of need, where you can take a shower and use the bathroom in peace before departure.

Nice hotel 50m from the sea, on the main avenue, full of shops and clubs. Very kind staff, good and varied breakfast, large room with balcony and climate, bicycles available. On the day of departure you can use the luggage storage and a room with bathroom to take a shower and change, this alone is priceless. In addition there is a large private parking and free. Excellent value for money, we will definitely be back
