Nizza in Riccione

I am so torn about this hotel. When we arrived, we got a room that did not correspond at all to what we booked. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, there was a long debate and in the end she showed us 2 other rooms which also did not meet what we had booked. We asked her to contact her manager, but she couldn't, she said, but he would come to the hotel in the evening. We gave up and packed up as we were very tired after a long journey and really regretted not choosing another hotel. But then suddenly the owner calls me and asks me to come and look at another room and that room was exactly what we had expected when we booked, even maybe a little bigger even. I was very happy and grateful and we quickly packed up and moved to that room and finally our vacation could begin! It's such a shame our stay got off to such a bad start, we were sweaty, tired and very disappointed with the debate with the receptionist and having to run around looking at different rooms which were all substandard (one of them was also very dirty) so it gave really not a good first impression of the hotel. After all the fuss, we then had a good stay, the location is great right by the beach and many great restaurants. The beds are hard, but they are in Italy in general and the breakfast was quite poor but we didn't expect much as it is a two star hotel. The parking lot is very small and you have to leave the car key at the reception, which doesn't feel very good. Overall, we ended up having 4 good days in Riccione and I would love to go back there, but we'll probably choose another hotel then.

Good location near the beach. Nice breakfast. Wifi in the rooms was not really working. Nice balcony. Weird parking, where everyone had to leave the car key at the reception and they moved your car if someone needed to use their car which was parked behind yours. Friendly staff. Room price a bit high for the room quality (in my opinion).

The location is perfect, rooms are big but the bathroom is too small
