This place is cute and convenient with reasonable rates for a trip to Rome or cruises leaving from the Civitevechia port. Breakfast was included and I don't say this much about hotel breakfast, but dang! This was a nice surprise. They had healthy options with typical European breakfast foods and a barista at an espresso machine to make any coffee you want with a bottomless cup!
The only thing we didn't like was the hotel cost for a shuttle to the airport and/or port. If you go this route, it was 165 euro per couple to the port and/or 25 euro per couple to or from the airport. If you're able, we opted to walk to the bus station about 10min from the hotel where you can catch public transportion and get to the airport which is a 10 minute drive at only 4 euro per couple. There is a train station at the airport where you can get to the port for cruises and only costs 30 euro per couple. Once you're at the port, they have free shuttles to the cruise ships, but we again opted to hoof it which took about 25 minutes. Still shorter than the line was to use the shuttles though. It's nice the hotel offers shuttles to or from both, but you're no doubt being charged for convenience. Just know there are other reasonable options. Oh, guess I should also mention typical Italian hotel beds and pillows are crazy firm which for us is not comfortable.

The room smelled very strong of chemicals with the sink covered in hair. The location was the reason for our stay but the room was VERY poorly cleaned. The shower head is large and leaked into the bathroom floor which is already pretty small so water covered the floor. It was not a good experience.

We enjoyed our stay ats Porto Di Claudio. Only needed it one night as we flew out in the am but it met our needs for a nice place to stay before departure. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and stocked with all we needed-towels, soap, water, coffee for the am, use of a refrigerator if needed, nice sitting room and adequate outlets to plug things in. Hot water came on readily for showers. Nice walking district with several choices of restaurants. I would recommend using the B&B when you need a place close to the airport. They insisted on Euro’s cash for their shuttle service to and from the airport, cost was cheaper than a taxi. It’s frustrating for American’s to be denied using a credit card so they can avoid reporting to the government for more than one reason, but I get it. Taxes are high everywhere.

We booked via Agoda but it was a total nightmare. We went there at 2:30pm and the host told us the room is not ready so asked us to return 30 mins later. Fine, we went there after a meal like 3:30pm then it’s not ready. We waited a total of 30 mins and at 4:00pm I asked Agoda for refund as the place is a total mess; suddenly a guy came and asked us to go with him to an address, Via delle Meduse, 00054 Isola Sacra RM, Italy. We were totally shocked as I had zero idea of this place and of cuz we refused and left. PLZ SKIP THIS SCAM.

We only stayed there one night. We asked for ice for a hurt knee but the machine had been turned off. We had to find a convenience store blocks away for ice. I tried to call the front desk and went down to the front desk several times the night we checked in but no one was there. When we went to check out the next morning and to catch our ride to the airport, again there was no one at the front desk. I called their main # and the person said he was on his way back to the hotel. I'm guessing the front desk person was the shuttle driver and the breakfast person as breakfast was scheduled for right after we left. I was stunned they left the front desk totally unattended the night before we left and the morning we left.

This hotel is perfect for a weekend at the beach but not the most convenient for trips into Rome. This is not a fault of the hotel, but my own problem as I should have researched it better. They do have a shuttle to the airport which is 5.3km away. 25 euro for 2 people to the airport. That was good compared to a taxi or Uber which both were over 35 euro when we needed it. Otherwise a very nice hotel and friendly staff.

The property was clean.
The neighborhood was safe. Plenty of restaurants and a supermarket close to the property. The staff were excellent at helping us with questions. There was a variety of food for breakfast.

appreciated the airport pickup when we flew in late. The hotel is nothing special, but it gets the job done for needing a hotel near the airport. Would recommend as an inexpensive option for travelers out of Rome airport.
