Owner was super responsive. Easy access via train and getting into the building. Nice kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. I pass through Rome again in a month and will definitely stay again. Only caveat: it’s a few more metro stops from the main sights but this slight inconvenience is made up with the value you get in exchange.

It was super clean, with a kitchen, nicely furnished and right next to the Trastevere train station. From here you can go anywhere! Inexpensive and uncomplicated.

Noisy room and lack of services and cleanliness
What they liked · Recently refurbished room.
Comfortable bed.
Excellent services in the surrounding area, Trastevere station 5 minutes away and public transport.
What I disliked · Total absence of staff (management all via telephone and automated check-in). All good as long as you don't need support. The host responds immediately, but generally responds with vague and unsolvable conclusions.
Lack of services, bubble bath not provided (although not present in the services, I believe it is an essential service, given the price of the room).
Absurd thing: on 5 nights of stay there was only ONE cleaning (also of the common areas such as the kitchen, which in this way becomes unusable for hygienic reasons) and only one change of towels and sheets (upon request the host asked 20 euros per exchange).
Location not very convenient (about 45 minutes walk from the center and 25 by public transport).
Excessively small bathroom, with clogged taps (hardly any water comes out of the bidet).
VERY NOISY room. Out of 5 nights 4 times we were woken by the neighbors (6.45 am) as loud noises come from above (washing machine, cleaning, squeaky wood walk). Only the door has a layer of insulation, the walls do not (on the services the room is indicated as soundproof).
Very old windows (albeit with double glazing) which do not isolate from noise. Under the window is the engine of the air conditioning system, which turns out to be very noisy (both with heating and much more with active air conditioning).
I don't think I had a good stay, too many things went wrong.
I would not recommend it.

The nicest and cleanest guest house I've ever stayed in! Beautiful decoration, everything new, very clean private bathroom, fully equipped common kitchen that you can use to cook (which by the way contains things like olive oil, salt, vinegar, sugar, etc. so that you don't need to buy all of these things just to cook for an evening or two), delicious coffee and tea, just 2-3 minutes by walk from Trastevere Train Station and very well connected with major tourist attractions in the city. Patrizio even came to the train station to pick us up when we just arrived in Trastevere, so that we didn't need to walk around with our luggage to find Green Rooms. Owners Andrea and Patrizio are both very attentive and kind, they stay in touch with you all the time, making sure you have a great stay. The location is very peaceful and quiet so you can get a good night's sleep, and yet it is just about 15 minutes walk from the center of Trastevere, which is full of pubs, bars, restaurants, and is very lively at night! I certainly felt like home and next time I'm in Rome, I'll certainly stay in Green Rooms Guest House again!

Very clean and friendly staffs. Location was great close to train station, bus stop and tram. Room was very comfy with AC in hot weather.
