We had a great stay for 5 nights at Amaranto. Hotel is in a great location with heaps of shops and restaurants around. Even located some good vegan options nearby (check out Rosemary’s around the corner and Vivi’s!). Walk to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pathenon and 2km shopping ***** all with 15-20mins.

The cleaning detergent was too strong and the coffee machine was in the other/main building. Other than that it was fine.

The accomodation was clean, however, there was no kettle to boil water, no breakfast as advertised, and there was only a sheet as a blanket on the bed.. we had to find a very thin blanket in the cupboard to keep warm.

We had a great time staying at the Cielo Vaticano Guest House! Just a 10 minute walk to the Vatican, 5 minutes to the Ottaviano metro, it's far enough to not be a tourist trap but close enough to get everywhere you need to!

A wonderful and green house in the heart of Rome

Quiet, very decent family run place, peaceful and secure. Very accessible to metro and centre of Rome for tourist attractions. Ludovico very responsive and helpful.

The best place I have been in Rome so far. I travel a lot for business and I needed a safe place for parking. The reviews were excellent so I decided to reserve a room. The host gave me accurate information and I had a wonderful experience. Spotless clean, quiet and special. I highly recommend to visit this house if you have a holiday or anything else!

A great place to stay, especially while travelling by car. The park is like a part of house's garden - the trees and birds act here as neighbours and we liked it a lot. We had a wonderful stay at Merulana Inn. The staff was warm, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was clean and quiet. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Especially our cleaning lady who made sure we knew where to get extra towels and hygiene supplies if the lobby was closed. The door man also went out of his way to show us how the building locks worked. Very helpful and friendly.

The property was nice and it was in a convenient area. There was no dresser to store clothes so we ended up using the couch/extra bed/table which meant the only place to sit was the bed. Bathroom and main room were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

For a private room near Termini Station at this price, I have no complaints. The building is old but well-maintained. Since I was only staying for two nights, I declined housekeeping, but the housekeeping staff made a very good impression. You can feel their effort to make the most of the limited space for a comfortable stay.

With a 24-hour front desk and embassies in the vicinity, there are驻军 [I'm assuming this means military personnel or guards], which adds a sense of security. The hotel offers a self-service snack and tea bar, along with a public microwave, making for a pleasant stay.

The room is not big but it has all I need. Although it is beside a busy road, it was quiet once you shut the window. They also provide a little fridge, which is nice. Just one thing, I think the mattress is getting old.

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a conference nearby. The place is very easy to miss, with just two giant wooden doors and no obvious signage indicating that the rooms are there. I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Rome, and the experience was excellent. The location was ideal, close to major attractions, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the authentic Italian charm of the place. Overall, a highly recommended stay for anyone visiting Rome.

Lovely guesthouse, with modern and comfy rooms, and nice ammenities! Only downsides was that the shower had problems with delivering warm water, and very little storage space in the room and very thin walls that let a lot of noise through. Other than that I recommend it.

Good rooms, but the bathroom could use some improvements. Breakfast is fine, some bread, toast and yoghurt. For the price you pay, a really solid hotel. The subway station is 2 minutes walking away, with the city center at a 15 minute subway drive. Downstairs next to the hotel is a very good restaurant, and across the street a nice cheap bar and supermarket.

The room was perfect. There were enough usb ports built into sockets that we didn't have to use a converter. The bed was medium to firm softness and was comfortable. You really cannot go wrong staying here.

The customer service was great! The breakfast was delicious as well. However, the room was a bit dirty, with a clogged shower drain and a loose toilet seat. Overall, though, it was a great experience that felt like being at home, and you can meet people from all walks of life👍👍

The soundproofing and blackout curtains on the beds were excellent. The only minor issue was that they were a bit noisy when opened and closed, but the girls in the room were all very quiet, so I slept really well. The hostel often offers free dinners, which looked quite good.

The owner was lovely. I liked the location but preferred being closer to sites on a return visit. There are about 25 steps up the front door which can be challenging with luggage.
