It's quiet here, but the quality of the Waldorf Astoria is not up to par. The parking fee is 45 yuan a day, which is incredible on the hill of Rome. The facilities are relatively old and really not worth the price.

The location of the hotel is very close to Spanish steps. Just walk up the steps and it’s very close. Their service is impeccable and friendly. I love their buffet breakfast especially the thick hot chocolate serve at the buffet.

Hotel location is good and easy to walk around to see several of the attractions and get food. Only issue we had was the rooms had ants in the original room we were in. However the hotel did take care of it and apologized. If our room did not have the issue with the ants it would be 5 stars all.

Anantara hotels always have high standards, and Palazzo Naiadi definitely reached them. The hotel boasts a magnificent spiral staircase and spacious hallways. The rooms are luxurious, bright, and quiet and comfortable. The service is attentive, with complimentary champagne and fruit. The Italian breakfast is exceptional, and the restaurant even features evening performances. The doorman helpfully calls taxis, making it very convenient to reach major attractions.

All the staff I met were very warm and friendly. My wife had some health problems during the trip. The hotel's housekeeping manager, lobby manager, lobby staff, and housekeeping staff all took the initiative to provide us with a lot of help at the first time. First off, this hotel is nowhere near a real 5-star hotel so ignore that listing. The hotel is ok overall, more like a Crown Plaza or lower-end Sheraton. The staff from reservations, the gentlemen who greet you out front and handle your luggage, the front desk staff, the ladies who clean the rooms, the restaurant staff all very nice, friendly and professional. They worked hard to make our vacation and stay there seamless.

The large room was a plus; we had room with the kids and no one bothered us. The downside is that this hotel isn't a 5-star as they sell it. It's an apartment: the water in one of the showers barely flowed, there was no iron, robes, etc. Overall, I wouldn't go back.

Aside from its location next to the Colosseum, it offers absolutely no value for money. It's an old, run-down hotel where the whole building shakes when a bus passes by; the overall experience is simply terrible.

The first morning there was construction next door all day, not happy. The water was not provided the 2nd day. For the prices I thought would be better.
