Aquarius Inn

Everything looks cozy and is clean. Our room was big and had a big wardrobe and a big bed. The host is extraordinary! She bakes home made treats for her guests everyday and writes little notes to go with them. She also explains everything about the Inn very well and gives a list of tips on restaurants, grocery stores and the best public transportation routes. The location is amazing, it is about a 10 minute walk from Termini (central station) and it’s in a neighborhood with some nice (inexpensive, not so touristy) restaurants. There is also a working elevator.

Nice B&B near the main train station of Rome. Owner Rosanna was the nicest host. She provided us with freshly baked cookies or cakes every day. She gave us directions to nice restaurants and gelataria. The breakfast was very basic. The bathroom was a little walk through common area, somewhat troublesome in the middle of the night. These are minor and we did enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful little B&B, in a quiet area not far from Termini station (10/15 minute walk) very easy to find. Roseanna, the owner had emailed me to ask we let her know when we arrived in Rome and she met us at the front door. The Inn is on the 3rd floor of an old building served by a quaint 1927 Zugler lift and has 3 private bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The bedroom housed a very comfortable king-size bed, set of drawers, wardrobe, TV (didn't use so no idea of channels), and was fitted with Air Conditioning and external shutters. The décor is tasteful. We had a private external bathroom and as well as towels, shower gel and hand soap Rosanna had provided cotton buds and cotton wool rolls and a hairdryer. The bathroom is compact but adequate with shower, toilet, basin and bidet. There is a communal kitchen area where Roseanna set out our breakfast, typical Italian style with cornflakes, pastries, biscuits, jam, nutella and honey and French toast. The fridge was well stocked with orange and pineapple juice, yoghurts and milk. Italian and American coffee and hot chocolate were provided. An oven and hob are available for guests' use and the fridge can be used for guests to store their own food. There is a communal seating area with sofa, TV and a selection of books. Each day in our room we were left homemade cakes and pastries and on our last day a selection of candies for our journey home. On our arrival Roseanna gave us a list of the best local restaurants, information on the Metro and buses, a map and rundown of the must sees. She made sure we knew where the fire extinguisher was and how to lock up the property, she even made sure we had logged into the WiFi, which incidentally was very good. If we were to return to Rome I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Everything was so nice..Rossana is a gem.....she welcomed us with open arms and was so very informative. We were only there for two nights but will definitively stay there again. It is in a nice neighborhood and you truly get a great feel for the area...accessible to everything. ❤

Excellent in all aspects

The location is perfect, with Termini station at 8 minutes and all city highlights at 20 minutes walk. Rossana was an amazing host, explaining the city highlights, giving suggestions for day trips and amazing restaurants, and baking fantastic cookies. The rooms are very tidy, and so are the bathrooms (which are all private, although separate from the rooms themselves).

Fantastic rooms, easy location to walk to the attractions. Rosanna is a generous host with cookies and cakes left every day for us. Lots of nice places to eat nearby and rosanna recommended restaurants and ice-cream shops. She went thru a map and told us how to get about. Our room was beautiful and having breakfast at your leisure, is better than a hotel with set time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
