Reviews
First the positive aspects:
The hotel location is wonderful. It is just a 20 minutes walk from Vatican and San Angelo castle and it has a lot of bus connection for everywere you want to go.
The room was clean.
Thw staff is very friendly, the breakfast has a large variety of things to choose from, and the pool and the rooftop jacuzzi are clean and very nice. Also the view on the terrace was wonderful.
Now the negative:
I stood in room 435 and there was some paint problems on the bathroom ceeling, in the room small hallway ceeling and I had a problem with the card key slot place... everytime i got out of the bathroom i hit it with my arm. It should be closer to the room door.
The fridge was inside the wardrobe and the clotes were always warm because it didn't have enought space to ventilate and disipate heat.
The wardrobe sliding doors moved really hard and always jumped out of the rail.
The air conditioning was centralised and you always had to remember to ask at the reception to open or close it... it would be so easy to have a button near the temperature selection with on and off...
What i would do:
The bathroom mirror was very large... you could add some gladiator stickers with your hotel hashtags so that prople take a photo with their image as a gladiator and post it online... free advertising.
Add more things in the lobby for people to buy... souvenirs, hop on, hop off bus tickets, trips around rome something to upsell people that visit your hotel... there is a large area in the lobby that is not use.
Do aomething on the rooftop... all that free space and not even a place to buy something when you use the jacuzzi.
I hope my review doesn't offend you and i really enjoyed my stay in Rome at your hotel.
Let’s start with the room. Stepping inside was like entering a walk-in freeze. The heater appeared to be purely decorative. I wore two layers of clothes and socks and I was still freezing.
Also the bathroom was full of mold and the blankets had more hair than I do.The offered shampoos had the texture of slime. Finally, under the beds there was also hair and dust everywhere.
Next, the culinary offerings. The so-called "amazing breakfast" looked like it had been pilfered from a vending machine in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. The scrambled eggs had the texture of packing foam, and the orange juice tasted like gasoline. For dinner, we got a chicken that was somehow both overcooked and raw. They also served us carbonara which had no flavor and was cold.
As for the service, it was refreshingly unprofessional. The front desk staff acted as though every interaction with a guest was a personal affront.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a hotel where you’ll freeze, starve, and feel entirely unwelcome, this is the place to be. For everyone else, I’d suggest staying anywhere—literally anywhere—else. Even a park bench would offer warmer vibes.
