Other than the location and the comfortness. The host really went extra mile, we missed 1 night of stay because we got offloaded from flight to Rome. She still kept the room for us + treat us for a free breakfast. Nothing can be appreciated more than that!

A nice guest house in perfect location!
The facility offers 3 rooms and classified as a guest house - just to manage your expectation to start with.
The location is perfect right opposite the colosseum, the daily house-keeping also makes your day in addition to a nice breakfast at Oppio caffe right down stairs in front of colosseum with super lovely staff of the caffee. The location has so many nice restaurants within walking distance.
The downside is obviously that it is not a hotel, so you cannot expect a hotel standard e.g. daily towel changes (I've been told that it will be changed every 3 days), breakfast options (a croissant + coffee is possible) or on-site staff (though I had issue with the hot water and the hotel owner (I think) showed up and fixed it in no time).
All in all - good place if you look for a nice guest house in a perfect area.

It is a small but nice and clean BB, so set you expectation accordingly, it is across from the colosseo and the owner is a very friendly + helpful guy I would return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Tre R Colosseo very much. The room was great and the staff so friendly and helpful. We plan to stay there on our next rip to Rome!!!
