Hotel Souvenir in Monterosso al Mare

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Last time was in 2019. The hotel is super clean, is off the main street and had a private courtyard with tables and chairs so you can relax in the mornings, afternoons or evenings. They also have a bar.

Breakfast is great, a nice selection plus they will make you omelets or scrambled eggs.

The staff are so friendly.

They have beach towels if you want to hit the beach.

They are close to so many great restaurants and a little supermarket for drinks and snacks.

You won't be disappointed staying here.

Small but great!
Clean but small room, good water pressure, friendly staff and great breakfast included. Also offered to store luggage for the day and included towels to bring down to the beach on request.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is in a good spot near all the restaurants and shopping. The rooms are large with enough space for your bags. The interiors of the rooms are modern and up-to-date. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Nice hotel, somewhat of a hike from the train station. Room was very small. To keep the lights on you have to insert hotel key, the bathroom light stays on when we did that so we pulled the key to sleep but them none of the plugs worked so nothing charged overnight. Staff was very kind! Nice breakfast with price of our room.

Good location. Tricky to find for first time. Close to Resturants and shopping. Rooms are modern. Not overall big but adequate.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is right in the heart of things without being noisy at night.

Great staff, Patricia was great! Very convenient, close to everything. Ask Patricia for restaurants in the area, she gave us great restaurants to try. The room I chose a room was extremely small but it was clean. The room looked bigger on the pics. FYI: you cannot park in Monterosso, so there is a parking lot about 1/2 mile from hotel or less. You have to carry your luggage to hotel and the hotel has no elevator.
But had a great time is it centrally located.

Fortunately able to check in upon arrival and store our things. Very gracious and accommodating. Very, very clean. Breakfast was amazing!

5 Stars – Perfect Stay in Monterosso!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Monterosso! The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, just walk from the beach, charming shops, and delicious restaurants, while still offering a peaceful retreat from the crowds. It was the perfect base for exploring the rest of Cinque Terre.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. We absolutely loved all the front desk girls and the owner - Juliana. What a Gem!

They went out of their way to make us feel at home, offering great recommendations and helping with anything we needed.

The entire property was spotless. It’s typical for European room small but very well maintained renovated. You can tell cleanliness is a top priority here, and common areas were always tidy. Great breakfast to start your day.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The entire place (Cinque) is not for a faint of heart. Lots of walking and hardly any taxis. Recommend to bring small carry ons only for this trip!
