Primavera in Levanto

Perfect location with the nicest people managing the hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable and cool in the summer, and the owners provided tips for the best ways to see the town and hike as a local.

Our family of four stayed here as part of the Rick Steves Family Europe tour and felt this was a great location to explore Cinque Terre without the chaos of staying in one of the small villages. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the train station (which was a very sweaty walk in June) and just a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach. There’s an abundance of shops and restaurants that are easy walking distance from the hotel, as well as a grocery store and laundromat. Breakfast included a great selection of meats, cheeses, and breads, and the staff were very full helpful and personable. The rooms were generally comfortable but couldn’t quite get cool enough to get a good night’s sleep. Otherwise, the location is absolutely perfect to enjoy the beauty of Cinque Terre with a more local feel.

We stayed in this hotel during our Rick Steve's Villages of Italy tour. We really liked the hotel. Our room was bright and clean with a balcony and a large bathroom with a shower that had hot water and good water pressure. Our bed was comfortable and sleep was great with the balcony door open a little to let the cool night air in (being the cusp of spring/summer, the local authorities had not yet authorized the use of AC). The location was less than a 10 minute walk from the train station in one direction and 5 minutes to the beach in the opposite direction. The staff was very friendly and service was very professional.

Shhhhh... please don't share this secret gem. This was our favorite hotel experience in all of Italy. The family-run hotel features three generations of the kindest, most delightful characters you will meet anywhere. We avoided the Cinque Terra crowds by staying in this village, which is 4 minutes north. Great choice! And the friendly staff here treated us like long-lost friends. The best meal I have ever eaten, ever, on any continent, was right here at this hotel. When you close your eyes and dream of Italy, this is the best of what the imagination can offer.

Great location and friendly staff. Right next to the beach with good restaurants and shops nearby. Very close to Genoa and cinque terre. Special thanks to Camila and all the staff who made us feel very welcome during our stay. We will definitely be back soon.

We stayed at the hotel primavera for a total of 3 nights, including breakfast. The breakfast was very delicious, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. The room service was also excellent and thorough. The beach was also very near. Additionally, the employees provided excellent tips for exploring the Cinque Terre area. Overall, it was a fantastic stay at a good price. We would stay there again anytime.
