Excellent helpful staff, great breakfast, good location for intercity hopping

Always stay here for business and it has been my 3rd time. Staff were nice and room was great. There’s not much restaurants nearby so need a car to go somewhere

A nice hotel with very professional and nice customer service! All the receptionists (especially Alessandro) were so helpful, smiling and welcoming. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway, and there's a large supermarket downstairs, perfect for buying delicious Italian pastries if you didn't order breakfast. The surrounding area is average, though it's a residential area. Our room faced the back street, so it wasn't noisy. The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is chargeable.

The hotel is good rooms are but so big, ok view toward the city. Staff were very good and helpful especially Carlos he was so helpful and kind. Aminities were ok relatively not bad. Breakfast was ok, not the best but do the need. Although i did not find much difficulties to find a parking, the availability was limited and i beleive it will be hard to park during the rush time. There is a small supermarket downstairs, open until 10 o'clock, which is convenient for shopping. This is very good. The highway is very close, which causes the problem of vehicle noise at night. The hotel should provide free earplugs. But we can't ask them by Chinese standards, after all, their four-star rooms are at the level of home. I was for 3 night and i can tell thet it wasnt a good experience. I give 3 stars only for the location but for the other things i wasnt not happy. The room are in old aredacion and there was a smell of old things. The lifts didn't work all the time and you must to past at dhe workers lifts. The wifi didn't work all the time. We were freezing in our room air come did not work properly and only received a bed sheet on our bed!! Breakfast and coffee was the worst I had in years big shame for Italy!!! Would not recommend paying for it

We had a wonderful experience at this property in Genoa. Great location within walking distance of all the palaces. Incredible artwork at the Palazzo Rosso. Went on a shearings holiday. Room cleaned every day. Clean towels every day. Only negative is the amount of time travelling. My expectations were low due to previous reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was good the staff were great and the room clean and well presented. Loved having clean towels every day. I stayed there early May, and there was a frog chorus every night, which I actually liked. Would definitely stay again. Short walk to the beach and shopping.

My wife and I went on a shearings trip here. Room was immaculate, food amazing, and staff very polite and helpful. Enjoyed sitting by the pool every night, listening to the frogs, with new found friends. Feddy ( I think that's how it was spelled) was so entertaining behind the bar. We would definitely go back.

After reading previous reviews I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were great the food was good, i ate too much every night, and the rooms were nice and clean (Clean towels every day). Pleasant stay. Very pleasant stay at reasonable prices and still in the vicinity of everything Alassio has to offer. Hotels closer to the beach at almost double up, still from this hotel the beach is just a 10 min walk. Helpful staff with a welcoming attitude.

This Hotel was , without a doubt, in top 1% of places I’ve stayed. The service is amazing, the room is beautiful and well appointed and the free continental breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. We are staying two nights before leaving on a Transatlantic cruise.

We love it so much! We have chosen to stay here before and after the cruise because it is so close to the cruise terminal. Everything is so elegant, staff very amabile, rooms, the last floor terrace, bed so comfortable! The service from the staff was great, they helped with a rental car and taxis and were very pleasant. The lobby area is inviting and the President Suite was large. The mattress is old with big dips in it, very bad for my back. There are mechanical shutters on all windows which is nice for keeping it dark in the morning. This was our second stay in Genoa; our first stay was at NH Marina. The hotel's location is very central and secure. We were lucky with parking and parked in the blue-striped section of the street directly opposite the entrance. We didn't trust leaving our keys in a nearby car park with the windows open. I liked the hotel; the location is excellent. Breakfasts were delicious, with a wide selection of everything, even fruit. It was very clean, and the staff was polite. It was very convenient for exploring and touring Genoa. Parking is available nearby.

The NH Hotel was amazing. Very clean, everything seems to be new. Hotel is also close to city center. Service was excellent. It was my weekend birthday trip and I got surprise in my room - sparkling wine and snacks. I recommend this hotel!

This is a first-rate hotel with a fabulous breakfast. It is within walking distance for most locations of interest and near the train station and the Metro. Try to get a room on the second floor and toward the water end. The Customer Care personnel were a delight to work with -- especially Letizia Gianella.

Hotel is quite good. Location near port, but a bit far from city center. There is a bar, restaurant, small gym. Personnel is kind and helpful. Breakfast has enough gluten free options. Rooms are spacious. Considering price/quality is highly recommended.

Genoa is a very beautiful city. The hotel we booked on short notice was generally satisfactory. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. The breakfast was also quite rich. The hotel swimming pool requires reservations. It is charged.

The hotel is a beautiful old building! But needs updates! Very clean and the staff was great!. There is charge for using towels and lounge chairs in the pool even if you are guest! Not cool! Rather pay and visit the beach clubs across the street.

A palace of faded elegance Fantastic. Clearly this the the most modern and luxurious hotel in San Remo about 50 years ago. since then it has been well maintained, but not really modernised much. The food was fab, the pool great and the pool side bar/restaurant top class. Really top class, but a bit old fashioned - which is fine if you don't want the latest guff.

Very nice hotel, excellent position in Sanremo, just 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Swimming pool very nice and clean. You pay 20 euro / daily for a sun bed, but the organization of the pool services (bar and service) justifies the price

Have stayed in this hotel 5-6 times in the last 10 years. Always love the staff service. The restaurant is also excellent for its attentive staff and lovely genovese food. Breakfast is also excellent. Although I hope an upgrade will come soon, the rooms are clean but tired.

Excellent hotel with very friendly reception and very clean rooms. It was cold when we arrived but inside the hotel the temperature was ideal, the room was so pleasant that we didn't even need to turn on the heating but I believe that those who are cold would be very warm. We really liked it and would definitely stay there again 👍

The location is so bad. For those traveling many cities in Europe and just stopping by Genoa, I would not recommend here. It’s too far from city center or station and very inconvenient to reach. Hotel amenities are so limited considering the is Mercure. While this may not be this hotel problem, but workers in cafeteria are discriminating against Asians. It might be common in Europe.

A bit of the walk from the train station, if you have an early flight I would suggest taking a taxi but if your flight is during the day and you have time definitely not a bad walk to the airport maybe 15/20 min walk. The hotel is in a good location near the airport. Ideal for early flights. It has a comfortable large bed, air conditioning, and a clean bathroom. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, which is convenient if you have several suitcases.

Everything was perfect! We have absolutely nothing to complain about; we loved our 5-day stay!! The rooms are beautiful and very clean, with everything you could need! The staff were wonderful; we especially want to thank Simone, Kristian, and Ariana. Book without hesitation!

The hotel is close to the airport but a bit far from Genoa city center. The only downside was the bland dinner. I ordered a Caesar salad, but the chicken was dry, and my partner had the vegetable soup, but it had no flavor at all.

The location is very good right at the coast line but the road in between the hotel and the beach is pretty busy so even though you have a sea view room as we had you will be able to enjoy the sound of the sea only during night hours starting from around midnight till around 5 am. The hotel is nice and the breakfast was good. But they don’t provide complimentary coffee and tea in the rooms, they are 4 star hotel that should be expected. Even in the 3 star hotels they provide that and free water, here they made you pay. The wi-fi was terrible and the issue was not fixed. Nice 4-star hotel at the town centre. Large carpark nearby at EUR18 for 24-hour. If you only park from 8pm - 8am, you can park just outside the hotel (free) or at the car park at EUR0.5 per hour. It is a 20 min walk from the train station. Breakfast was good.

We got moved around rooms although we specifically asked for two twin rooms. They blamed their main booking centre. We had to sleep in different bedrooms and could t unpack properly. It was a nuisance. The restaurant staff wasn’t helpful and a bit rude too. Not happy. The lifts take forever but the restaurant food was fab.

Staff were friendly once you had their attention, but I did feel as though you had to fight to get their attention. We had two power cuts during our two night stay there (due to works outside the hotel). Rooms were nice and so was breakfast. Good location, too.

Stay was standard and as expected. Large room and large bathroom.  Staff were very helpful however, we requested for a higher floor and with sea view which they accommodated they also accommodated and prepared a breakfast box as we were due to checkout very early before the service started.

Best Western Regina Elena is an average hotel with decent service. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing outstanding either. Parking was a bit pricey, and while the room was okay overall, the bathroom was quite small. Breakfast was simple, with an okay selection — enough to get you started for the day, but nothing memorable. It’s fine for a short stay, but don’t expect anything fancy.

I had an excellent stay here. The rooms were spacious, clean, and truly comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. What really sets this place apart is its location — it’s right next to a mall with plenty of restaurants, making meals and shopping incredibly convenient. An outdated hotel desperately clinging to its former glory days. For the price its definitely not a 5 star accommodation. Very uncomfortable bed and many burnt out bulbs in the room. The pool which we were looking forward to was poorly maintained with large brown stains at the bottom of it and yellowing tiles. Would not recommend.

We had a wonderful week stay at the Royal sanremo hotel. We enjoyed the classic old charm of the hotel, the stunning view and heated swimming pool designed by gio ponti. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean while preserving the timeless atmosphere of an iconic hotel.
