Staying there again and again a great staff super service restaurant is amazing. Few is incredible rooms of spacious walls very clean high-level of service.

I just love the vibe! Old charm and attentive service. Only thing that could be better - arrangement of sun beds in beach club. Sun beds shouldn’t be booked with towels for the time they are not actually occupied

The location is incredible, the staff makes you feel like at home. The spa is great although there were no sunbeds available for most of the time i was there. The only shortcoming is the breakfast.

We spent a week of our honeymoon here and had a wonderful experience. The staff was professional, attentive, and classy. Our room was comfortable, we received relaxing spa treatments, and enjoyed the hotel sauna & pool

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We absolutely loved our stay at the Excelsior Palace! From the moment we arrived, everything felt top notch — the room was elegant and comfortable, the view was breathtaking, and even the robes felt luxurious

The location is very good right at the coast line but the road in between the hotel and the beach is pretty busy so even though you have a sea view room as we had you will be able to enjoy the sound of the sea only during night hours starting from around midnight till around 5 am

The staff is very friendly and will park your vehicle serving as a valet parking. The breakfast is also very good especially bread such as bruschetta

Even though the hotel itself is not new and you can see its age in some details the rooms are very clean and comfortable as well as the cleaning service is working well! Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel!

Overnight halt, exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, easy & secure parking, good room with very comfortable (firm) mattress, functioning a/c, sea view, good breakfast, so superb value for money

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both international and local options. The beach is just across the street, only a two-minute walk, which was perfect for us

Rooms are small (as expected) but clean & modern. Staff are friendly & helpful and food is good. But what you really come here for is the view, which is just spectacular. Highly recommend.

We also didn’t swim or access the private beach; the price of 50 Euros for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella seemed a bit expensive

Our room was very comfortable and the 4th floor location was great! The room was listed as a garden view, but from our lovely terrace, we definitely had partial ocean view! We loved having a terrace complete with a table, 2 chairs, two lounge chairs and a remote control awning, to make shade if needed! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice

There's a beach, a bar, a restaurant, a view of the Mediterranean from balcony rooms, a lounge and a pool. There's something to satisfy every need. You could stay for a week and never leave

  Staff were very helpful however, we requested for a higher floor and with sea view which they accommodated they also accommodated and prepared a breakfast box as we were due to checkout very early before the service started

The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and offer stunning views of the sea. The amenities are top-notch, including a fantastic pool area and an exquisite dining experience

We had a wonderful week stay at the Royal sanremo hotel. We enjoyed the classic old charm of the hotel, the stunning view and heated swimming pool designed by gio ponti. The staff was extremely kind and helpful

Great location right by the beach! The hotel is a bit old and the breakfast was average. Soundproofing could be better — we could hear the TV next door, and the neighbors were smoking (not the hotel’s fault)

Great value stay right on the beach. Daytime food and beverage options are pretty limited, so plan ahead for that. Beachfront amenities are tired and not aging well. Sushi restaurant pretty good for the price

Lots of nice touches that makes experience even nicer. There is also hotel beach, that is also included in price. We love having bath in the sea. For those who don’t there is also pool

Exceptional Hospitality at Grand Hotel del Mare! I stayed at Grand Hotel del Mare Resort & Spa in March while travelling for business, and I must say that even as an experienced professional in luxury travel, I was truly impressed

The breakfasts were superb, the patisserie worthy of Paul Hollywood. We ate once in the evening and it was v good but v expensive and there are some excellent restaurants in Santa Margherita

The reason why is because every time we took a sip or two the waiter would come and refill our glasses. He was there so many times and was so attentive that we literally thought we drink three bottles of wine

Just one word of caution - you do need to be moderately fit or at least not completely unfit - the hotel is on a hill with fantastic views but it’s 130 steps down to the sea

The poolside service was a bit slow- they bed a bit of training there, but tvat is a mi or matter. I’m telling everyone I know to go there, we loved it so much

This is the first class property. My wife and I bought a bottle of wine at dinner. By the end of dinner, we thought that we drank three bottles of wine

The hotel is well situated near the old town, the marina and the beach. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Loved the rooftop experience. If you arrive with a car parking is a problem.

We had booked in two hotel rooms but was offered the option to move to an apartment owned by the hotel instead which was a great decision as we were able to stay in the same space as our teenagers, had a full kitchen, two bathrooms and only 200m from the hotel reception

Steps are open and easily used. the only terrace is at the top of the hotel. Local transport to their other hotel on Paraggi beach is excellent. Clean up staff are up to the task. short walk to the harbor at Portofino

From the moment of arrival to leaving, we felt warmly looked after with exceptional attention. The hotel is in a wonderful position in that you do not need to use a car once you are there as everything is workable

The luxurious black marble bathroom had dual sinks, and a heated floor. The location is extraordinary, just 2 blocks from the port/pizetta. The shuttle service to the beach was very timely and comfortable

The beaches are a 4-5 minute drive, and all three main beaches (Dior, Dolce, and the Eight are all next to each other). The guests appeared to be mostly couples. The staff were nice, especially Ricardo

The Eight hotel is a one hour drive from the Genoa airport, given the roadways, and the taxi cost is around 175-225 Euros. There are no Ubers in Portofino, so taxis are the only possibilities

The walking paths in the back of the hotel are beautiful and the pool incredible (its cold, salt water and deep like the sea) and relaxing! The breakfast was vast and incredibly tasty while the sun arises and the evening piano player fantastic to enjoy from the main terrace or your balcony!

In terms of example - we chose a £200 bottle of champagne in the bar on our first evening, but it was always poured for my husband first and without a napkin, which led to drips on our clothing every time we were topped up — an unfortunate oversight

They announced that the buffet was closing five minutes before the stated end time, urging everyone to finish quickly instead of just clearing the buffet at the end of the shared opening hours

The breakfast staff laughed and joked loudly among themselves and service was inconsistent. One morning we received toast but no coffee, the next we received the coffee but no toast

Charming place right on the beach

The best part of this hotel is that is right on the beach and even with the wind and the rain, we absolutely loved our stay. Our car was parked by the hotel in a carpark nearby

This is one of our favourite hotels on the coast, and during this cold and wet visit in March, it did not disappoint. We drove here directly from Milan airport, to rest for a few days to get over jet lag

We had a junior suite, the room was delightful, spacious and bright, with a long bath and Jacuzzi and balcony. The staff were very helpful and obliging, and breakfast was a good spread

We had a junior suite and our daughter had to stay in another hotel 100 m away. So I got to see a much better hotel and terrace for eating and please of an interior room with a very funny waiter

To shed some light in 1star reviews I read: Yes, rooms are relatively small, BUT it is Paraggi - a tiny town with limited available space. If you want to be at the beach, there are very few alternatives :-)

Before our stay, we had read some mixed reviews and were a little uncertain, but we can confidently say they do not reflect the true quality of this hotel. Everything about Eight Hotel Paraggi exceeded our expectations

This was a fabulous stay! The private beach is stunning and unlike anything you’ll find in the Portofino area. The staff was amazing and always so friendly

We loved the private shuttle, the free breakfast, and that the cleaners came multiple times throughout the day! We traveled here with our baby and everything was extremely accommodating

The best hotel in Alassio, beautiful location, very clean, very nice staff all around. Hopefully will come back here again. The beach, which is beautiful is right across the street, but there is a fee.

Great location on the beach! We were able to easily walk for dining and shopping and the train station was close to take day trips to other towns.

Right opposite the private beach, but you still have to pay to use sunloungers and no concession for staying at the hotel. I paid between €25 for half day fourth row to €60 for first and second row

There is big pool and of course the beach. The only thing that could be added is a bridge from the beach to the middle of the water. It is pebbles beach and the bridge could improve the entrance to the ocean water

This hotel is really worth it! The service is great, the pool is fantastic and of course the location!!! Right on the coast, so of course beach vibes are the best! We have our dog here so we were limited with beach and pol access but our dog is cool, so we could enjoy the pool while she wSited her n the room, and the beach after 20:00 in the evening

We stayed here from 10th April to 14th April, our room was a deluxe one which had plenty of space and a balcony overlooking the beach, the hotel was very clean & the staff were very polite and attentive, breakfast was very good with a great selection, we had a meal in the restaurant which was superb

For me it's not worth for my holiday (1 night/149€) also not included breakfast 5€. The first time i opened bathroom it was smelly. But it's 2 single beds connected

My friend and I were on a coach holiday recently and stayed at the Hotel Torino for 5 nights - fantastic! Very pleased with our room with balony and a lovely rooftop area for breakfast with plenty of choice! That was also the case in the lovely restaurant and may I say, Roberto (the Maitre D'?) and the restaurant staff are to be complimented too! Plenty of shops, cafes and eateries

We spent 24h at Torino Wellness, and we really liked the clean areas, nice room, great breakfast with a spectacular sea view. The bar staff also made my wife the best frozen strawberry daiquiri she had tasted!

Wonderful stay, terrific staff and the best location! Only issue was beds. Not king size bed but two twins which were not fixed together and so kept creating a gap in middle as they drifted apart

I understand that the hotel is near the beach, but the sand wasn’t ours and should have been cleaned up before our arrival. One more thing to note: parking is €25, and it’s valet parking

The staff including Sarah and Claudia could not have done more to make our wedding day more perfect. Everyone was so kind and they did every thing to make our day so special

AC that works beyond all expectations. Garage spaces and a private beach, with its own beach restaurant. Short walk to the city center. One small minus is that the train is never far away

now, if you are visiting from overseas (like USA), the only small negative point is the lack of driveway for the checkin process, it is very hard to park in the street on your arrival and get the key to get into the garage

Sound insulation to the outside is good, to other rooms it’s OK, weirdly to the hallway it’s not insulated at all so if you have a room by the lifts, you can get woken up by someone getting off with a suitcase
