Hotel was nothing out of this world, had the basics but was lacking that I’m going to feel rested after I sleep here feel which is what you’d think you’d get with the price tag(100 euro ish). Location was amazing however and breakfast was also nice.

Nice place in this little sea-side city near Genoa Nice place, in center and front of beaches, and easy to go with private parking. To recommend.

Great family vacation in a great hotel right on the beach in San Bartolomeo al Mare.

Only real negative was “noisy neighbours” in room next door…particularly late evenings and early morning.

Nice design and convenient location. Noices from the other rooms and corridor were easily heard. Watch out if you are staying on a weekend. There was a loud party on the top floor with high noices all over the hotel. It did not stop until sometime after midnight.

This is an older hotel but very clean and the beds are good. Front rooms have seafront views The beach side pool is delightful and seawater. Bring your own beach towels. No bar service poolside but there's a little cafe next door selling drinks. Extra cost (5euro) to sit on the beach terrace for dinner which was OK. Had a 3 day break at the end of March with my wife. This 3 star hotel gives 5 star service. Food was wonderful, room was clean and functional. Service from everyone was excellent and always with a smile. Breakfast had a good choice and the ever cheerful Nadia made sure we started the day right!

3-star hotel (for me it's worth 4) on the sea of diano marina, family-run, ALL the very kind staff, from the reception to the waiters to the girls who clean the room! Very efficient on services for children (cots, high chairs, food etc etc). Perfect cleaning, excellent food…. What can I say… for us impeccable!!!

Another excellent stay at Hotel Sasso - our third in the past year. The Hotel is a 5 minute walk to the beach and conveniently located in the town center - close to shops, restaurants and cafes. I was disappointed with the service at the front desk. Yesterday I asked them to print my boarding pass and emailed the file as requested, but after sending it, I waited 10 minutes with no update. This unnecessary delay caused me to miss my scheduled train. For a hotel of this level, basic services like printing should be handled more promptly and efficiently. Room has no sound proof.

The hotel is in a very convenient location: 10 minutes walk from the train station, on the embankment. It was not indicated anywhere, so I will write that there is a mini-fridge in the room (water in it is paid, but you can not take it, and use the refrigerator). The bathroom, as we say, is separate. This was a superb find after a 10 day trip through Italy. The staff were brilliant, the whole hotel immaculate and beautifully built. The most stunning example of dry stone wall construction around the majority of the property. Views out to the sea and an immaculate swimming pool. Many of the other hotels we stayed at could use this as an example of how it should be done.

I stay at Hotel Ariston every time I visit Imperia and it never disappoints. The rooms are spotless with newly refurbished bathrooms, the breakfast spread is always delicious, and the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Le Spezia is considered the gateway to Cinque Terre. This accommodation is very close to the train station, which has direct parking. Absolutely amazing, the hotel is literally on the beach, I'd say 25m from the water, lovely place to snorkel, there are a lot of fish species and hundreds of them. In August, my family and I decided to stay a few days at this splendid property. We had a wonderful time. The hospitality and friendliness were excellent, and the rooms and spaces were beautiful, with a picturesque view of the Magra River. The breakfast was excellent, with quality products. Dinner at the restaurant attached to the property was also excellent.

In the first week of September, I visited this splendid property with friends. Besides its enviable location at the mouth of the Magra River, I found the decor modern and practical. The hi-tech breakfast is truly remarkable: for just €8, you can enjoy both a savory focaccia and a sweet brioche, all accompanied by coffee and orange juice. I sincerely hope to return and stay longer.

My wife and I stayed at the Maison for 3 nights, It was a wonder ful experience. The service was great, the breakfast was delightful, and everyone was SO friendly. We had planed on going back there this year in October, but we were hit with the corona virus. Hopefully next year will be different.
