Manin Hotel in Milan

1. There is no private parking. They offer public parking at a price (with a “discount” 😬) of €60 per day.
2. At check-in, they said breakfast was included, but at check-out, they charged extra for breakfasts.
3. Over 4 days, our daughter was moved out of her room 4(!) times due to issues with the shower and toilet.
4. Throughout our entire stay, there were major water problems in the hotel: the toilet kept running non-stop, and there was no water coming from the shower.
5. The staff’s response to all complaints was to offer us a bottle of water (presumably so we could wash with it).
6. A completely terrible experience — I strongly advise against staying here.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing because of multiple unresolved plumbing problems. At one point, the shower and sink water turned brown, making it impossible to shower or even brush our teeth in the room. While we were initially given access to another room to shower, our own toilet flushed nonstop and made it very difficult to sleep. Later, the same issues persisted but we were not provided with an alternative room, even though I understand that other guests were accommodated. By the end of the stay, while the shower was finally fixed, the toilet was completely broken and unusable.

For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected much better.

The only positive thing I can say is that the location is good. Everything else was a disaster.

The first room had a non-functioning air conditioner on a day when the temperature was over 35°C. The second room they moved me to was dirty and had a strong, unpleasant smell. The third had an air conditioning unit that was so incredibly loud that sleep was impossible. I ended up changing rooms four times in a single day.

At one point, hotel staff entered the room without knocking or any warning, which was completely inappropriate and made me feel unsafe and disrespected.

When I asked for a late check-out due to all this chaos, I was told it would “depend on the cleaning ladies” – an absurd and unprofessional response. The man at the front desk was extremely rude, sarcastic, and dismissive, making me feel even more vulnerable and insecure.

In the end, I was given a late check-out only because I had not slept all night, after being forced to change rooms again at 12:30 AM.

Breakfast is very modest, definitely not on par with the price or hotel category.

Avoid this hotel unless you want your trip ruined by stress, lack of sleep, and unprofessional treatment.
