B&B Hotel Milano Aosta in Milan

The reception area is new & modern but beyond that is the exact opposite. The lift door opened at our room level and it left like you’re in a deserted corridor of a haunted movie; dim, old and nothing looked like a hotel corridor.

Room was equally dim, outdated and rundown though clean. Curtains looked ill fitted & like it may drop down. Also there’s a patch on the ceiling looked like a bad repair job. The bathroom was completely not usable as there was no cold water at all, only hot steamy water. The hotel could not change us to another room nor offer a room with usable bathroom due to lack of availability, really?? Eventually the technician came and explained that due to the toilet flush that’s perpetually flushing, the cold water valve was turned off. We had no choice but to settle with the pliers to turn on the cold water valve to use the shower and turn it off so that we won’t hear the perpetual flow of water of the flush.

How can the hotel sell a room that is not functioning? Or even if it was a last minute unfortunate event, the hotel knowing about it should have made alternative arrangements before our check in!

Avoid this hotel coz other guests we met also didn’t seem positive about their stay too!
