Le Dame Della Cortesella B&B in Como

The B&B is conveniently located within walking distance of the historic center and the train station for, possibly, a visit to Milan.
It's on the third floor, but definitely manageable. My girlfriend was pregnant, and she even managed the stairs.
The room is nicely decorated with all sorts of fun gadgets. The breakfast is delicious and certainly sufficient.
Ilaria is the friendliest host we've ever had. She was always ready with tips and stories and did everything to make us feel welcome.

We are not frequent guests of Bed & Breakfast inns, but this may change our pattern. The location was perfect, a few blocks from the old town of Como. The accommodations were comfortable, a good value and immaculately clean. The breakfast provided was nutritious and delicious. Best of all, however, was our hostess, Ilaria. I cannot say enough good things about Ilaria. She was warm, gracious and hospitable. She provided excellent recommendations on what to see (local markets), where to eat and tips to make our lives easier, such as what time we needed to get to the dock to purchase tickets for the boats on Lake Como. I felt like we were visiting a family member who lived in an exotic place and knew all the ins and outs. I know the first rule of success for a business is location; but it is the people who make the difference. Thank you, Ilaria, for providing us such a memorable vacation.

Ilaria is the loveliest B&B host you’ll ever meet! We only had a 1 night stay but it was so enjoyable thanks to such a welcoming and friendly experience. It is in a convenient location, a short walk from the old town. Ilaria gave us great advice on where to eat and walk in the area, and a wonderfully prepared breakfast in the morning. Thank you and we hope to visit again!

Lovely rustic flat in a good central position. very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were great. Our host Ilaria was amazing. So helpful, just the best host you could ask for.

We had a very pleasant experience with a 3 years old at Ilarias home. The room was thoughfuly arranged, quiet, clean and comfortable. Needles to mention, the host is truly devoted to what she does and offer utmost friendly, impeccable service. We will surely visit again.
