Rude and dishonest management; dirty and old hotel, bugs in the bathroom, sheets probably unwashed and stained; they should send some security personnel.

A small hotel/guesthouse in one of Milan's less attractive areas, but close to the city center. The room needed cleaning when I arrived, and they quickly cleaned it (it was late at night). The whole place looks a bit shabby, and the building is old. Otherwise, I slept well enough, and everything was there. So, for a quick night in Milan, with easy access to the train station the next day, without spending a lot, and with a bit of space to adapt, it's fine. As a vacation home, perhaps there are better options.

The location is relatively remote, with few restaurants nearby. The front desk is friendly. There is no elevator, so you need to go to the front desk on the first floor and stay on the second floor. No cleaning, no towel change, no bed making (the sheets have holes), and one day's worth of shower gel and small soap. There are mold spots on the underwear rack in the closet. There is hot water, but the water volume is small. The sound insulation is not good.

We needed a place to stay for one night, and though our room was small it was clean and had a bed and a bathroom and that was all we needed. One word of caution: the reception area is up a flight of stairs and our room was up two more flights of stairs, and there is no elevator! So if you have a lot of luggage (which we did) be prepared.

For the money, the hotel is excellent, the location is convenient, 7 minutes by metro to the center, the metro is next to the hotel, not noisy, quiet guests. There is no kettle, but there is soap and shower gel, also a hair dryer, an iron is given if you ask! We recommend!

I wasn't expecting a 1-star hotel, but it was decent overall. However, considering the official standard, the value for money isn't great. All in all, though, it's not bad and definitely deserves the 3 stars I gave it. The staff was friendly, and the room was very clean. The affiliated bar for breakfast is great!
