Hotel Arco Romana in Milan

Unfortunately, our experience with this hotel was very disappointing.

When making the reservation on Booking, a mistake happened and instead of one reservation, there were two. Booking contacted the hotel to request the cancellation of one of the reservations, but the hotel refused. They claimed that they did not understand English in order to avoid cancelling the extra reservation, which felt very unprofessional and unfair.

In addition, the comfort and cleanliness were not acceptable. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. The room was not properly cleaned, and there was a strong smell of humidity/dampness in the room, which made the stay unpleasant.

Overall, this hotel did not meet basic standards of comfort, or customer service. I would not recommend it.

Terrible, horrible experience. This hotel does not even deserve one star.
Absolutely unacceptable.
The room was dirty, the bed sheets and towels were not changed, and there was no toilet paper provided. Basic hygiene standards were completely ignored.
The reception staff were not friendly or helpful at all. Instead of assisting guests, they made everything more complicated and treated us badly.
On top of that, I was scammed. By mistake, I booked two rooms and immediately asked for a cancellation, but they refused without any reasonable explanation. What’s even worse is that they did not even give me the keys for the second room that I paid for. This is shameful and dishonest.
I want this message to reach the management because this behavior is unacceptable. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone
