Wrongly advertising parking that was meant to be included in the room price but wasn't because they had put a terrace on the parking space. They refused to refund the parking option and even tried to charge an extra 20 EUR to use the staff parking. Greedy and unhelpful owner. False advertising and poor customer service. Location was ok but all very noisy. Rooms are dated. Not worth it, you can find much better value.

A wonder boutique room. Our host Riccardo was very helpful, and available to answer our questions. Very clean and safe. Very well located in Rome. We highly recommend this hotel.

Great location
This was our third stay in Albergo San Lorenzo on our annual one month visit to Italy. On the way back home we like to visit the truffle fair in Alba on our way to Malpensa Airport in Milan. For the price this is an excellent location as they are one of the few hotels center town within walking distance to the fair that have parking. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast is quite nice.

excellent impressions of the stay. Very nice service and excellent food in the restaurant . In the bar they have tasty alcohols and especially grappa and rum. For breakfast, warm buns crosanty and good coffee. Hotel service very polite and nice. I feel that they care about customers. In the menu in the restaurant excellent dishes from regional products and tasty pizza 😊

The room price included free parking as per ******* and the property Google listing. This is why I chose this hotel. Upon arrival they told us that there were no parking available as they set up an outdoor terrace in place of the parking spot. They said we could use the staff parking but wanted an extra €20. Very greedy owner and not worth the price paid for. The listing still showed free parking and they had a sign in the room showing parking code but they refused to provide free parking. ******* or the hotel provided zero compensation for false advertising. Had I known I would have booked elsewhere for a better price. Room was very average and dated and it was very noisy.

A great location, spacious room and everything we needed and asked for EXCEPT for air conditioning… it says they have rooms with AC and I can’t say it’s not true but the thought hit me since we went there when it was super hot, the place was not fully booked and we still got a room without. So make sure on beforehand that your room will have AC. We got a fan and slept with windows open which works but we needed earplugs due to a noisy street. Other than that we were very satisfied with the place.

Easy walk from the train, very helpful and friendly staff, simple and straightforward accommodations. Perfect for one night in Alba!
