Hotel La Playa in Alghero

Initially I would have left two stars only for the pool, but on the fourth day, we found it so dirty that even that was a disappointment.
I believe that once you have reached a certain age, you can no longer manage a hotel, it is absurd to have to repeat things 3/4 times because they do not understand you. There are three of them and they don't make half of it. (Leaving aside the rudeness)
The only person who is saved is the gentleman who stands at the counter at night.
Putting a competent person at the bar is too much to ask, and you couldn't even decide to take a beer out and bring it to your room, because there is no minibar (in a hotel in SARDINIA)
Not to mention the smell that came from the bathroom as soon as we arrived in the room, we had to throw everything open to try to get it out.
In the middle of the night, if someone talked or turned on the TV in the next room, you could hear everything.
The TV in the room took about ten channels.
The French door that opened onto the balcony was practically impossible to open, each time it took half an hour to turn the handle to get some air.
Then, having arrived for a day, we asked the kindness at the reception to skip the cleaning of the room to allow us to sleep a little more, at 11.30 we found the cleaning lady in the room, I just wonder if we had not been dressed !!
Better to draw a merciful veil over this experience.
