Green Park Hotel in Porto Cervo

I booked a triple room online after carefully checking the photos — I liked how the room looked and that’s why I chose to pay for it. But when I arrived for check-in, I was shocked to be given a completely different room, much smaller and with no ceiling lights — the only source of light was a tiny nightstand lamp! The night receptionist was by far the most unprofessional I have ever encountered. He had no idea about the hotel, couldn’t give any clear answer to anything, and we had to struggle through communication using Google Translate. He spoke only Italian, not even basic English — how can you work at a hotel and not speak a word of English? That wasn’t even the worst part. I asked for an iron — a basic thing in any hotel — and I had to beg for it for three days. Every time, they said it was in another room or that they couldn’t find it. On the third day, I went down to reception frustrated, only to be told, “Sorry, the iron was stolen.” Seriously? Breakfast was absolutely terrible — a few cold cuts, bread, butter, and an omelet that tasted like it came from a hospital tray. And don’t even get me started on cleanliness: we stayed 5 days, and they changed the sheets only once, on the fourth day. There was dust and dirt everywhere. How can they claim this is a 4-star hotel? I also spoke to the hotel manager in person, and she was incredibly unprofessional — sitting with legs crossed, completely indifferent, speaking rudely and even raising her voice. Not a trace of professionalism or respect. Honestly, this hotel is a reflection of terrible management, and that’s likely why everything else is falling apart. DO NOT RECOMMEND. This place is a tourist trap and will ruin your trip. It’s an absolutely pathetic hotel that should be avoided at all costs.

Our trip around Sardinia was otherwise perfect until we encountered the blonde woman at the reception desk who spoke Russian. I must say, I have rarely felt so mistreated. Her behavior was unprofessional and immature, and she urgently needs training in customer service and proper communication.

It's unfortunate that one person can so negatively impact the overall atmosphere of a hotel. I would think twice before staying here again if this is the kind of treatment to expect.

I do not recommend this hotel paid for a completely dirty room non-existent staff and when you were lucky enough to see them they were also rude and uneducated completely dirty pool I ask for information to the lifeguard a continuous complaint negative experience quite poor food a structure to be closed used cartilage and made available our wet sheets with holes and dirty

Booked and paid handsomely, quadruple suite in advance, but upon arrival around 7.00 pm they gave us a double room with sofa bed set up as a triple and passed off as a quadruple. We had to make the fourth bed ourselves, requesting sheets and towels. The pool closed at 7pm but every day they closed it at 6.20pm. There was no catering service other than breakfast.... We suffered the invasion of numerous flies and mosquitoes. The irrigation system watered the external balcony making it impracticable. Not recommended....

Never again! I had 16 mosquitoes in my room, AC not propper working, dirty floor, old bed, shower not proper working!!!
