Club Hotel Cormorano in Baja Sardinia

Our stay was wonderfull. The staff treated us with a warm welvome. Espcialy a member of the staff who was in charg of our reception, called Fabio who was of help made our stay very pleasant. He did much to send us a mobile phone that we forgot.

What a lovely hotel with really amazing staff from the waiters/waitresses/Receptionists/cleaners and the pool bar staff. Our room was cleaned daily. I could not fault this hotel at all. The swimming pool was not cleaned very much during our 2 week stay (in fact I don't know what the pool guy did all day apart from being on his phone and smoking - he was the boyfriend of Claudia). Claudia was so funny and such a bubbly person. On our last day my husband did approach the owner and mentioned the debris that was in the pool - give him his due he got the new pool guy to clean it (which he did) and it looked a lot better. We could not knock the hote at all - as to the actual resort - it is very pretty, not very big but unfortunately we were not a fan of the food that the restuarants served. They do not cater at all for vegi's and unless you like a lot of shell fish you are quite stuck. The resort is very pricey!!

We stayed at Hotel Cormorano in Baja Sardinia and had a pleasant holiday, but the hotel didn’t quite meet 4-star standards. The position and the cleanliness were very good but the facilities and food were more like a 3-star. The restaurant team were wonderful — Antonio (maître d’), Vittoria, and all the staff were so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The room cleaners were also lovely, efficient, and always cheerful, making us feel very well cared for. Unfortunately, the reception staff were unfriendly, and the manager’s attitude at checkout was disappointing — no farewell or even a simple “how was your stay.” We hope management takes note, as the restaurant and cleaning staff truly are the heart of this hotel.

Got back from this lovely Hotel on the 27th of September after staying a week. On arrival and throughout the stay the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we had was 411, kept beautiful clean, looking over the pool with a parcial view of the sea. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection, the meal in the evening was a 4 course with a good choice which was of an excellent standard. Special thanks to Antonio and his team. It's a nice pool area. but the beach was a different class gin clear water and flat sandy beach ideal for children and snorkelling. The resort was spotless with lovely bars and restaurants very laid back . Would definitely recommend doing the black boat tour which picks up in the harbour daily at 9am weather permitting. Also, Porto Cervo for designer shops. Would highly recommend this hotel and resort will definitely be returning i would probably hire a car next time.

A fantastic hotel in an amazing place. The location of the hotel was perfect, a couple of minutes away from the beach and restaurants , the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was just right a good selection of food. We had a room overlooking the pool with a sea view it was so relaxing . I would highly recommend.

This is a lovely place. Very relaxing, ideal location for the nearby beach and restaurants. It is clean, lovely staff , amazing breakfasts. A lovely pool bar. Plenty of sunbeds. Very relaxing.

Stayed the end week of August in this lovely traditional hotel. We were very sceptical before we arrived due to some negative reviews particularly about the pool area. We found these to be completely unfounded whilst we were there. Pool area and pool were clean and we never experienced a problem getting sunbeds. The 7am dash for a bed doesn’t exist here it would appear, we had breakfast and always got two beds from 10am onwards. Breakfast was plentiful and always fresh, something for everyone. Eating out there are maybe a dozen places to eat, fish featured heavily on the menu so be prepared. Pizza & pasta were excellent but not much else to chose from. Beach is beautiful and crystal clear, hotel has a section with their own sunbeds but we felt it was a rip off charging guest 20-35€ for beds pending how close to the sea you sat so out of principle never got them. It didn’t affect our holiday as hotel is so close to beach we left pool for hour or so each day had a swim in sea etc and came back. We had a balcony room that had a semi pool view which was nice, but on the small side but you are not in room for long so didn’t matter. Housekeeping was on point every day. So in short, I would say glad we didn’t go on other reviews and made our own opinion.

Had a great time at Hotel (10 nights) has its own beach area with sunbeds (charge) and on site parking. Great breakfast - hot and cold food and a pool bar with food. Great staff all very friendly and helpful Antonio, Maryem, Aye, Maddalena and Gaetamo to name a few, were brilliant. Fantastic location close to lots of activities, beach’s, night clubs, Palau city - ferry to Isola Maddalena and lots of boat trips locally.

We have just returned from our visit to Baja Sardinia and are so glad we chose the the Hotel Cormorano, unlike the previous post we could not fault the staff from Reception to Housekeeping and especially Antonio in the restaurant we took the time to speak to all and found them all to be pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself was spotless and the room was cleaned every day and new towels given if desired. I fully understand everybody sees things differently but we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, close to all amenities.
