perfect central location, very spacious, cute balcony, air-conditioning, amenities in the bathroom, comfortable and big bed (for two persons), fridge, and overall unique decor. and of course the very nice and accommodating Lady who met us at the reception :)
Location is nice for visiting Palermo - the rest of the things in the “hotel” were not. I use quotes around the word hotel because it was by no means such; it’s a bed and breakfast. I find it strange that it is advertised as a hotel when there is nobody ever at the reception.
Room had air conditioning, but the mattress was just a piece of old foam. The toilet’s sliding door didn’t close properly, and the smell was horrible throughout our entire stay.
The person we interacted with through WhatsApp was rude at times to us (we also interacted with someone else when we did the payment and that gentlemen was very nice).
We were charged 40€ for doing the check in after 17h (around 20.30). I thought the extra charge was because it would mean somebody had to work overtime to let us in, but it was far from it: they just let an envelope with our name at the entrance. The charge for the “late” check in was per person, so if you’re a couple with a child you’d need to pay 60€ for the sim of arriving after 17h. For a “hotel”, this is at the very least strange.
At least one of the towels had stains of what seemed like blood.

Unfortunately no longer like last year ... little cleaning .. and the toilet even more shaky ... the air conditioning without remote control ... it worked if you got on a chair to turn it on !!! ... The sympathy .. courtesy and kindness .. of the landlady ... is unique ... the excellent location .... we should take care of the rooms a little more! .. cmq RECOMMENDED!
The owner was always available and accepted our requests. The rooms are clean and well kept. The feeling of having been in a familiar and welcoming environment remains. In short: go!
Good B&B located in the historic center, a stone's throw from the Capo market and the cathedral as well as the Massimo theater. Very kind owner, attentive to our every need. Small but well equipped rooms, nothing is missing.
