Hotel Aliai in Sciacca

My husband and I stayed at this small hotel in late February and it exceeded our expectations. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the water. I work up in the morning to the smell of cakes coming out of the oven. The room was spacious with a large armoire to store clothes etc. The bathroom had very nice tile and also was very large. If the great location was not enough- the real stand-out was the wonderful hosts and the amazing breakfast. This breakfast had a great selection of homemade cakes along with savory items like Tuna and Olives. Add a cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice and it was a fantastic way to start our days before heading out to explore the area. Your hosts are so warm and friendly- they embody what a great hotel experience should be- loved meeting them!. There are several places to eat in a short walking distance and you can head up the steps ( a lot of steps may be too much for some to climb) into the main part of the city for shopping and more food options. We would come back here again to stay anytime we are in the area and I am only sad I never got the recipe for the fabulous ricotta cake we had the first morning in Sciacca.

Hotel Aliai is in a great location, right along the waterfront near the small-boat harbor. On this visit, I had a room on the second floor with a lovely little terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture. Note the mural along the stairway to the second floor. My bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast is on the ground floor and it is good. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The hotel is spotless. Upgrades were made since my last stay there two years ago. The rooms are now opened with key cards that guests take with them, rather than metal keys you must leave at the desk. You can walk to the center of town by climbing a series of stairways or you can avoid the stairs and walk along streets up the hill. The stop for regional bus lines is within reasonable walking distance, and a stop for the city bus service is near the hotel. A very good seafood restaurant is about a minute walk from the hotel.

The Hotel Aliai was a beautiful and welcoming hotel. We contacted the Aliai hotel after arriving in Sciacca without any reservation. The manager there Giuseppina was very accommodating. She explained the amenities and the parking area (Free) and even gave a tour of the hotel. This made our 4 day stay at Aliai hotel so much more enjoyable. The room was bright and clean and had a view of the harbor. The bath was large and very comfortable. A daily breakfast was wonderful and all fresh products. The staff at Aliai Hotel were always very helpful. We would absolutely recommend the Aliai Hotel for your stay in Sciacca, Sicily! Returning to Sciacca this is where we will stay, thank you Giuseppina !

My husband and I visited Sciacca for the first time and we LOVED our stay here! Our room was in their newest Marina wing and beautifully furnished, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was fresh and delicious daily with coffee, espresso/cappuccino made to order. The entire staff was extremely attentive, welcoming, and professional. We will stay here again when we return to Sciacca. Thank you!

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was beautiful with a great view of the port. The staff gave great recommendations and know the area well. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. We also loved that we could purchase the jams used during breakfast (which are local) as well for great souvenirs.

The hotel was easy to find. I was made to feel welcome from the outset. The ladies on reception went out of their way to help me with all of my questions and requests. The room was comfortable and I will definitely come again if I can. Breakfast is a delicious treat. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed at the Hotel Aliai for about 4 nights. The rooms were very nice, clean and big. The staff was absolutely amazing, very happy and couldn't do enough to help and ensure that we had a good stay. The hotel is situated so that it is easy traveling distance to the Marsala region as well as Agrigento. The town of Sciacca is lovely with some pretty impressive restaurants. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again.

Hotel Aliai is excellent, cosy, clean and well located. The top rooms have a nice little terrace with a sea view. The staff is great and friendly, and breakfasts delicious. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. It was a true pleasure to stay there and we will come back.
