The hotel has an amazing view of the coast and Mt Etna. And it is only a 5-10 minute walk down some stairs and hill to the main pedestrian street. Breakfast is good and can be enjoyed on the terrace with the view. One drawback is the shower is ridiculously small with a lightweight curtain that comes against you so there is no room to wash and water gets all over the floor.

The hotel is a bit tired; it needs to be modernized. I can imagine in the 50s/60’s it was the place to be in Taormina. There are many pictures around the hotel from that period showing the glamorous lifestyle then. Staff were very nice, breakfast was good but the same every day. We had a superior sea facing room which was okay with a nice view but would have appreciated a couple of comfy chairs and some drinks in the fridge and milk for tea & coffee. Views from the hotel and the surrounding area are just fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool is very good. Breakfasts are good. Parking tricky like most of Italy. Bed and pillows ok but not great. Used buses and taxis to access nearby Taormina and Castelmola further up the hill.

This property is beautifully situated and I really felt I was in Sicily! It’s quaint and the staff is very helpful, especially the woman who set up breakfast, Georgina? She also made/ brought lunch on the veranda. It is up on the mountain, half way up to Taormina Centro where all the action is. So, we had to spend money on taxis as it was not an easy walk for. Amazing accomodation. Got an upgrade to a water facing room & i can't describe the incredible view. The location is great, close to the main bus stop, shops & restarants. Pool was a little chilly (late Sept). Room had a nice bathroom and bed were nice & firm.

The most amazing experience ever. The view from our balcony - we stayed on the 4th floor and had the most magnificent view of the sea, the whole Taormina city. Hotel with an amazing view! A had a room with sea view and balcony. There is an amazing view to the Ionic sea and Etna from the balcony. The hotel also have a pool and spa zone. A very good place to relax!

It's definitely dated but very clean, very relaxing and just enough away from the crowds that it was super enjoyable. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and had parking which is so rare in taormina. Pool was terrific, no competing for lounge chairs. Room was a great size and compared to other prices, was very good value.

Booked a double room with a balcony & got allocated a single room with no balcony. Emailed hotel 3 times to refund difference in price & they are ignoring me. Real shame as good hotel in great location but no customer service & don't feel ignoring emails is the response you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Very disappointing

We are so happy to stay in the 4 star hotel. It offers parking which is convenient for people renting cars, it is within walking distance to the town center and close to good restaurants and shopping and on top of it. It has elevators;)

The hotel was lovely and the front desk was very helpful. I did not feel very special though. I think we had the worst room the hotel had and there was no room upgrade even though it was not at full capacity. I went to breakfast and my daughter came a little later. Really good Hotel, close to the center of Taormina. Excellent Service. Parking lot very small, but the Hotel does the parking for you and they have an alternative parking space somewhere with a parking (bring & pick up) service. The hotel is in a great location for walking to shops and restaurants in Taormina. The bus depot to take to Castelmola or any other town for a day trip is a 2 minute walk.
