Hotel Metropole in Taormina

Great stay very luxurious. Grand design. View from the junior suite room was spectacular. Staff were helpful. Very clean rooms. I did not like how I have to pay 50 euro for valet parking, seems very exploitive. Otherwise the stay was 9.5/10

The location is excellent, just steps away from the Ancient Theater and Sijiu Square. The room was also great; they upgraded us to a sea-view room, and the service was warm and attentive. We planned to visit the train station where The Godfather was filmed, and the staff advised us to take a taxi, not to walk. According to Google Maps, it was 1.5 kilometers from the hotel, so we insisted on walking. It turned out that 1.5 kilometers was a straight-line distance, and we ended up walking for almost an hour on winding mountain roads, feeling exhausted. We regretted not listening to the staff's advice.

The location was great and the clientele was calm, so it was very comfortable.
I had a lot of luggage so the room felt a little small, but next time I stay I'll choose a larger room with an ocean view. The breakfast also had a great view!

We had the best time. Lucia was amazing as all the staff were. The hotel was clean, and service was beyond expectations. The staff assisted with reservations and offered recommendations when asked. The hotel is centrally located  and the view was spectacular. We will definitely go
Back there when we are in Taormina again.

Good location, good breakfast

This time I booked a room with a terrace and a private pool.
The scenery is 10 points good
And it’s in the main street, so the location is very convenient.
But I found a lot of insects entering the private swimming pool.
The staff's attitude is very good and kind.

Quite satisfied. The cleanliness was great when I first arrived. Later, the cleanliness was sloppy every day. But the waiter was very enthusiastic.
