Hotels with beach in Taormina

The food at the beach bar is terrible - Tuna Panini both crispy and soggy. However le Gran Bleu for lunch was great. We thought breakfast ok, covered all bases but no wow. Basic omelettes were at an extra charge

They don’t police the lounger hoggers either, despite the signs. The beach is nice to visit in the morning (in full shade by early afternoon) but you will need shoes to enter the water

Our stay at Una Hotels Capotaormina was a very positive experience. The property and grounds outside of the hotel were stunning. The pool service and staff were excellent

The breakfast was fantastic with gorgeous views of Mt. The staff at breakfast were pleasant and helpful

Be cautious if using - suggest to explore alternatives. They ignore return travel times and fit you in at their convenience , wasting us an hour at the airport return due to an earlier than needed pick up

The hotel shuttle service is excellent, providing you can book the slots that work for you. As an example, we took a cab back one afternoon, it’s a 1km journey that’s not especially walkable and was €20

How fortunate you are to have him as an employee!! The waiter who served us a delicious lunch & wine was also lovely as was the food. Even though we didn’t stay at the hotel, based on our experience, we will recommend it

The view from our hotel balcony was worth the price of the room. Very convenient to walk up to the Palace/fortress of Taormina, down to the main shopping street and across to the Roman amphitheater

Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had 2 balconies to overlook the town and view of the Greek Roman Theatre. There’s an outdoor pool above the lobby and spa services available. I can’t wait to stay here again

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, beautiful property. Rooms a bit on the small side and it aint cheap.

The manager Alberto took care of everything we needed and asked for! Angelo, who is everything, everywhere, all at once, also assisted with suggestions, recommendations and just great conversation about family and life

Even the doorman was a familiar face, as we were coming and going from the hotel at all hours. The breakfast here is wonderful with plenty of options from classic Italian to ala carte eggs, pancakes etc

I could rave about every aspect of this hotel - the design of the rooms (important as our family of four had no issues finding space for all of our luggage and personal items, yet the room was still very comfortable), the team that works at the hotel, the pool, the restaurant, the location

If you need a hotel with stunning views and great access to the cable car, this is the place. The staff's response is immediate. For any request, their answer is YES, and then they clarify what is needed

They react promptly to minor complaints. Everything is of very high quality and pleasant. Because of this, even tipping the staff was not an issue. Water was replenished every day

The only downside I would suggest is that they should consider organizing additional wine tastings on-site

Everything to the tiniest detail was excellent! From the manager’s welcome to Carmine our evening housekeeper, restaurant and bar staff, concierge Karina, and bell service it could not have been better

We got the hotel late night and friendly staff welcomed us with a welcome drink. Friendly staff specially Irene who helped us a lot during our stay and gifted us with flowers when she knew that we are in a honeymoon

At the beach club, a staff member followed us to our room, claiming we had not paid the bill, even though we had paid cash. There was a train track running just behind our room, train noise was annoying

Our family planned a last-minute trip to Taormina. Needless to say, finding a hotel on short notice wasn’t easy. Our travel agent recommended a few options, but we discovered LaPlage on our own

The hotel is located in a quiet seaside setting with convenient transportation. While the hotel facilities are somewhat old-fashioned, they have a strong cultural atmosphere, and the staff are very welcoming

However, I didn't know that on my first visit. Seeing on the map that it was only 1. 5 kilometers, I stupidly followed Google Maps and ended up carrying my suitcase down a steep drop of several tens of meters

Breakfast at €10 is quite good value, with several cakes to choose from. Actually, for people getting to Taormina bus station, the most convenient way is to take the cable car down the mountain and walk

The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful! This is a really cute hotel. It's not extremely fancy, but it was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The view from our room was spectacular

The pool was clean and accessible without restriction. I would definitely stay here again

Parking can be a slight hassle, but the walk into town is manageable and worth it. Considering the price, it was an excellent visit to a truly beautiful part of the world

I think the hotel should introduce a policy similar to those at many other resorts: if a sunbed is left unattended for more than 20 minutes, the towels should be removed by the staff

Another small issue was that some guests reserved the front-row beach loungers by leaving their towels on them for hours without actually using them

The private beach in front of the hotel is very nice, and the breakfast is also delicious, but the hotel is very, very old, and in Italy, blankets are not provided, only sheets are.

It's about a 15-minute walk to the cable car and has a private beach with very friendly staff

Comfortable and good stay, the key is that we drove here by ourselves, and there is a public parking lot next to it, 8 euros a day. After parking the car, you can walk to anywhere

Hearty breakfasts: eggs, tuna, croissants, fruit, cheese, and delicious coffee. The terrace on the 4th floor offers stunning views. The staff is polite and friendly

It's very close to the center, accessible through the garden. Overall, it's a wonderful location! I liked this part of the city better than Porto Messina

We had one of the apartments down the hill. It was quite spacious with several bathrooms despite it having only one bed. The kitchen though was not very well equipped. The apartment was okay, but could do with an upgrade

What a great find! This place has an amazing view of Mt. Castelmola is a charming medieval town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious but I could not get the air conditioning to work

Lovely quiet hotel in the beautiful location of Castelmola, just a couple of winding road miles from Taormina. Rooms are nice although bathrooms are lacking a decent shower

The cable cars to take you down to the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. The hotels is perched on a hotel with spectacular views from all of their terraces. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Really good Hotel, close to the center of Taormina. Parking lot very small, but the Hotel does the parking for you and they have an alternative parking space somewhere with a parking (bring & pick up) service

The hotel is in a great location for walking to shops and restaurants in Taormina. The bus depot to take to Castelmola or any other town for a day trip is a 2 minute walk

The only negative was that they don't have a restaurant in the hotel (but they do have breakfast which is great). I would definitely go back to this hotel

Friendly, helpful, polite and thoughtful. A delightful position perched up above the main area in Taormina, with a fabulous pool and the hotel terrace for breakfast and drinks has the most wonderful view of Mount Etna

The best view of the stunning Mediterranean This hotel is a special place as it has an old-world charm, a fabulous pool, is close to the restaurants and shops and a simply stunning view of the Mediterranean and Mt Etna

I do not like mentioning negative features especially when the owners and staff are working so hard but being an old building it is in need of some upgrades including the plumbing, bathroom and maybe supply a kettle

The hotel has an amazing view of the coast and Mt Etna. And it is only a 5-10 minute walk down some stairs and hill to the main pedestrian street. Breakfast is good and can be enjoyed on the terrace with the view

You are paying for the location, it is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Taormina. I'd recommend this hotel for the location. It has a wonderful rooftop area where you could go to enjoy a bottle of wine

Lovely hotel in a great location, very central to everything needed. Breakfast was great, as was the access to the private beach club. Bathroom was a little small and dated but manageable for a few days.

Had a most pleasant experience. Room was huge with high ceilings, modern bathroom and a delicious continental breakfast. Location was perfect for us who were not interested in views but rather in the middle of the mix

Two small critiques: there were no towel racks in our room, which made it difficult to hang towels; the AC would switch off if you opened the balcony door, and to get it back on you had to ask a staff member

The breakfast is not the best Italy had to offer, a bit below what you get at a Hampton Inn free breakfast in my opinion, The location is good as you're in the center of town and can walk to all the main streets and the square and such very quickly

So if you want a verry good room don't come here, I mean about the location and how clean is it, it's a 10, but because the aspect of the room is like a 3,5, the bathroom fan didn't work property and it was a verry big disadvantage

I'm really surprised why the negative reviews. The website has photos of the rooms so I don't understand why people are complaining that the rooms are dated, since they already know what they are booking

The hotel was also away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of town which was lovely. Honestly could not recommend enough, lovely staff, clean and well looked after room, beautiful pool and ideal location

Lovely hotel at a perfect location in Taormina. Just near the historic oldtown entrance, host Emanuele is showing a great hospitality. He made many things easier for us. The rooms are clean, breakfast is OK

The rooftop was a showstopper where as guests we could relax in the evening with drinks and takeaway from Pizza Mania down the street to take in the stunning panoramic views

Wonderful place to stay in Taormina. Spacy rooms with balconies and terrace on the roof with great views, where you can eat the breakfast or just spend some time and relax

This apartment was ideal for our 3 night stay, it had all the facilities needed, was very central to the highlights of Taormina and Emanuele was the perfect host

And last but not least - wonderful host Emanuele who is very nice and sociable and knows everything about the neighborhood
