We had been looking for an apartment in Bolzano as we wanted more than just a room to sleep in but this hotel was perfect. I could not have wished for anything to be better. The room was spacious with a desk and sofa and a balcony. The pool was beautiful and the food superb.

Me and my wife have in Italy for 3 weeks this hotel was amazing it's our favorite place in Italy the breakfast was amazing the staff were so friendly and helpful and nice and the location was amazing for us parking was so safe rooms were always tiddy and clean whenever I'm back to bolzano this is the place we will head back to

Clean. Spacious room. Breakfast was plentiful. Decor was a bit old-fashioned but that's alright. Have pay parking garage if you have a car. Nice location when going to the Dolomites. Too bad we didn't get to explore Bolzano town.

Lovely room with a fantastic view looking on to the mountains and the swimming pool. Comfy bed and very quiet. Buffet breakfast was just perfect. We would have given this hotel 5 stars but we took off 1 star for the reception. The staff there were very grim and did not interact or smile when going through the hotel. We were never asked if we enjoyed our stay after checking out. And it would really help if receptionists stood at the counter and greeted people. We think the receptionists should be trained to have a welcome smile and interact with the customers.

Rooms small , ours facing an alley ? Small window we never opened the curtain because we were so close to the building across! I asked for change but they refused and were not nice about either . The reception lady on arrival was not helpful and every time I asked a question she acted like it was a bother. Overall I will not recommend this hotel in Bozen, for the price there are much better hotels! I will attach pic.broken lamp and view from our window

It's a fantastic hotel. It was the second time I stayed there and hope it won't be the last one. This time I was allocated for the first day a standard room and for the second a deluxe room. They were both very comfortable, especially the latter. The staff is very kind and friendly, particularly a Cuban lady working at the breakfast room, and the breakfast is excellent, everything available for that meal is of a high quality and very savoury

Excellent Stay at Scala Stieg Hotel
My recent stay at Scala Stieg Hotel was truly outstanding, and I highly recommend it. We visit Bolzano often, and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels in this city.
First off, the location is superb. It's incredibly convenient, whether you're in city for business or looking to start an adventure in the mountains. Getting around was a breeze.
The staff were consistently polite and incredibly helpful.
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and the overall service was top-notch.
Finally, the price absolutely matches the quality you receive here. You get excellent value for what you pay. It's an ideal choice for business trips or as a convenient base for exploring the mountains.

Spending 140 euros for one night was definitely not worth it. Unfortunately, one of the young waitresses during breakfast was quite disrespectful toward me. I’m not sure if her behavior was the same with other guests, but I personally felt uncomfortable. At times, her attitude even came across as openly racist.

Very expensive hotel, imho not yet four-star worthy.

There’s not even coffee for your room; cleaning staff also disposed some of my belongings, put a razor blade next to my toothbrush, folded a sweater I had on my table, all without my consent… Literally nobody asked for all of that unnecessary room cleaning shebang and I really don’t like people touching my stuff. If anything is in the way, just write a note and leave my stuff be…

Breakfast buffet was good though. And I do appreciate a pool.
