This hotel is definitely worth recommending, and we spent a wonderful week there. It's perfectly located, less than 100 meters from the Folgarida 1 cable car. Our room had a picturesque view, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our dog was also well-received. It was certainly better than good, but not perfect. We knew the hotel had been taken over by a new owner and was slowly renovating it. This was also noticeable in the reasonable price. Much had already been done, but some other things probably needed more time. Therefore, it was clear that the room doors needed replacing and soundproofing, and the plumbing needed a major overhaul. In the top-floor room we occupied (I think it was a premium room), the bathroom odors were unpleasant and quite bothersome, the water wasn't always hot, and unfortunately, it rarely ran at the right pressure. This definitely needs urgent repair; it could have been annoying, but we didn't let it disrupt our stay. The spa was quite appealing, relatively modest but pleasant. The pool was similar, but if anyone was put off by the water in the bathroom and planned to use the shower by the pool and spa, be warned: the water was exceptionally icy. The pool was only slightly warmer. In our opinion, certain minor issues shouldn't be allowed in a hotel, and they're not justified by the organizational changes. For us, cold scrambled eggs for breakfast are like pizza with ketchup for Italians. Couldn't a warmer designed to keep food warm for several dozen minutes have been more efficient? And vegetables? Don't Italians eat them? Small lettuce leaves in a small bowl for breakfast and dinner, and a slice of tomato only for dinner, didn't make a positive impression. Furthermore, the hotel garage light, activated by movement, can't stay on for more than 30 seconds? Just enough to allow unpacking and packing, including the box, with some visibility. The hotel should improve this. In summary, despite the aforementioned shortcomings, you can have a pleasant stay at the hotel. Surely, in the near future, the hotel will address these shortcomings and live up to its claimed four-star rating.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs We stayed at this hotel for several days, and our experience was shockingly bad. 1. Room conditions – unacceptable: Our room constantly smelled like sewage, likely due to poorly installed or damaged plumbing. Plaster was falling from the ceiling, and the door wouldn’t close properly — it could sometimes be pushed open even when shut. We stayed in room 216 (to the best of my memory), and it felt far below any acceptable standard. 2. Theft from the safe: Our group had two rooms, and money was stolen from both safes — €200 from one and €2,200 plus earrings from the other. The safes were locked with personal codes, but we later discovered that the safes can be easily reset using a default factory code, which is publicly available online. This is a massive security flaw, as any staff member could have accessed them. 3. Staff response – unprofessional and offensive: When we reported the theft to the front desk, the staff laughed at us, were rude, and initially refused to call the police. Eventually, they did, but the hotel took no responsibility. Only part of the stolen money was returned, and we have still not received compensation through the hotel’s insurance. 4. Suspected staff member – no action taken: We had strong reason to suspect a particular housekeeper (the only one who cleaned our rooms), but the hotel defended her and accused us of making baseless claims. She did not speak English and was of darker complexion — possibly Spanish or another nationality. There are no security cameras in the hotel hallways, making it impossible to track who enters or exits rooms.

We had a fantastic overnight stay at this hotel! The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a great bar that seemed popular with couples. There’s also a billiard table and a relaxing lounge area, which made it extra comfortable for us to unwind. We didn’t get a chance to dine at the bar this time, but it looked great. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. A perfect hotel experience from start to finish!

I spent a week in this hotel with an incentive trip. Perfect location, very good standard and, above of all, very helpful staff, management with Bianca, restaurant with Matteo, animation team with Giovanni and Michaela, and reception desk with meravigliosa Angela. I recomend it for everyone.

The hotel has been refurbished to a good standard and seemed to be value for money, but it’s not the best for food if that is a big part of your holiday. The bedroom was comfy spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. Also spacious compared with many other Italian hotels we’ve visited. The bed was a little on the hard side for our taste but the staff supplied us with an extra duvet when asked to make us more comfortable. The bedroom doors and walls do seem super thin, so there is corridor noise as other reviews have pointed out. However, from 11pm / midnight ish it is silent. We slept well all week, so although weird, isn’t a dealbreaker. We also had a fridge which was useful for keeping drinks cold. Lovely large dining room with plentiful food at both breakfast and dinner. The staff always remembered our coffee order in the morning and it often came out before we asked, which was a nice touch. The food was a bit hit and miss if we are being honest, but possibly acceptable for the money we paid. Staff were friendly and helped with our dietary requirements where possible. But not that great for vegetarians. So, we would say it always paid to eat a hearty lunch on the mountain. Comfy bar area, perfect for evening drinks. Bar staff attentive. The pool, spa and gym we never used so cannot pass comment. Another mention about the staff, all very friendly and accommodating to us. They helped us book taxis when we went to Madonna for the night and sorted our friends out with extra requests to make their stay more comfortable. Ski room = large. Certainly more spacious than many we have seen. (However, our top tip would be to use the new depot at the top of the lift for ease. Wonderful heated lockers fit up to 4 people’s gear. €30 each for the week but saved a lot of faff. They even had a hairdryer and ghds available at the end of day to sort out helmet hair). Whilst not directly about the hotel, we should also mention there is not a lot to do in terms of apres or restaurants / bars in this part of Folgarida. It’s essentially a car park with a lovely patisserie/bar for your evening drinks.

Money was stolen from the safe of three of the rooms (not ours). The police came. I do not recommend leaving money in the safe as they are defective. I have not been personally affected by this but three families from Poland had a lot of cash stolen.

Newly refurbed hotel, lovely decor, modern facility, great ski room, easy access to the slopes. This hotel was on the cheap side of what we could have paid and proved great value. New room, lovely shower, brand new safe, decent balcony. Storage was limited tho. Bring some fold up hangers and you will be fine tho. Gym n spa all very modern. Booked via Crystal. 1 free spa access. Free access to pool each day but must book. Nice bar area. Could have been warmer. Needed a thick jumper to spend time there. Decent breakfast and evening buffet. Great cakes. Pasta n main to order a bit fancy for my taste. Drummed up a couple of ad hoc meals on request. Nibbles at bar from 5. Drinks served with olives n crisps a nice touch. Staff were a real highlight. All were very helpful and coped well with some ad hoc requests. I would agree that the sound proofing was lacking. Quite a bit of noise transfer till about midnight when it would fall silent. If like me you are bothered by lights at night, take some gaffer tape for the enormous red led light on the tv that can’t be turned off :D Decent hotel, won’t ruin your holiday in the way some reviews might suggest. Some poorly balanced views on this hotel!

It was alright but the food could of been better. Our school got a complaint for not finishing our food; it can't really be helped because your in a different county and being explexted to eat different food we may or may not like. The bed were alright but a bit uncomfortable. But all in all an a good hotel.
