The room was a decent size and clean; we had a balcony.
There's no air conditioning, the TV doesn't work, and there's no mini-fridge.
Overall, however, it's a quiet place for those who want to unwind.

Checking in is something different because you do it yourself. If you don't know your way around, you can call and everything will be explained to you.

The room fits, a curtain should only be installed on the bathtub, as all the water squirts out.

Old school. Hotel worn out, room furnishings at the end of the 1970s. Located on the mostly busy road to Schenna, no sleep possible with the windows open. It is not possible to look at the room in advance, although we were there. No contact person in the house. It's not even worth a star. Belongs to the Hotel Prinz Rudolf. Totally overpriced. When we received a complaint, we were ridiculed at Prince Rudolf. Never again!!!

We stayed for 3 nights, good price quality, good panoramic position. It is half an hour on foot from the center, so for those who love walking there are many pedestrian paths that lead to the center of Merano. 5 minutes from there by car, you will find the cableway that leads to Merano 2000. I would say the potion of an excellent pension.

The rooms were not 100% clean. The dust on the bedroom furniture was not new.
The view of the mountains is great but doesn't make the smell in the bathroom any better. It smelled like rotten eggs here.
If, like us, you are only looking for a hotel to stay overnight, this hotel is acceptable.
Checking in and out was quick and easy using a PC in the entrance area.

If you arrive before 15:00 you cannot enter because the check in can only be done after that time. To welcome you is a computer and you have to make do with entering all the data and codes to get the keys. All automated like making ATMs. If you are taller than 1.75 the room in the attic does not allow you to stand up straight because you hit your head, especially in the bathroom that you have to turn bent over. Imagine that I am 1.83. The bed in which I slept diagonally because it was short, had to be made, so I called the manager who then sent the maid to do it while we went out in the afternoon. Upon returning, surprise: between the sheets there were hairs and hairs of other people, and dust on the shelves of the head of the bed where obviously I did not put anything on it. The neighbors in the room next door were smoking on the terrace and I had to close the window because of the smell of smoke coming in.
I would say 90 euros in 2 for such a room without breakfast was the worst expense I have ever made in my life. Totally rejected.

It can also be booked in the late evening but then the access code does not arrive immediately (yes, because there is self checkin) and if you point it out by phone number you will be told that it is your fault that you book so short in advance.
Do not ring the external intercom that the old man comes out and sclera (closing the door behind him without helping you).
Do not try to check email or chat inside because it will not take the line and the wifi password will only be found in the room.
Self checkin is a ball.
The room was ok, maybe you could change the soap dish and put an extra bin.
It is not very convenient for the city on foot but there is parking for cars.

We stayed two nights. The room was clean and well-maintained. Nice idea of the computerized management of check in and checkout, very practical. I definitely recommend them.

Nice rooms. Views. The location is very quiet despite being on the provincial road. A stone's throw from Trauttmansdorff.

Good pizia, fairly large rooms, good location near Merano with mountain views, amid apple cultivation.

Too expensive for what you get. Room is clean and tidy, but very small for 3 people. Check-in is digital and that is very unpleasant if you have just spent a whole day in the car. Was very nicely helped on the phone by the staff. Next day but check in done at the counter of the other hotel. Breakfast is also in the other hotel which is not really within walking distance. Staff again very friendly. Location on a busy main road was also not really ideal.
