We were guests of the hotel on the last opening weekend before the winter closure. The cuisine is very good, both for dinner and for the breakfast buffet. The gem is the relaxation area overlooking the valley, including the massage rooms with panoramic windows.

Good hotel but not a 4 star experience. Buffet breakfast -good selection and plenty of it. Evening meals were poor with very limited and sometimes strange selections. If you’re a vegetarian, don’t expect anything but salads. Expected more fresh food but some was obviously frozen.

This hotel and staff are charming, we would definitely stay again but try and get a room on the front. The staff were so helpful and we are both slightly disabled, nothing was too much trouble. Booked 2 Junior suites for the family of 4. They gave us rooms 214 and 215. To reach 214 you have to take a lift/elevator, walk a few steps and climb a few steps to get to the 2nd lift. For 215, we had to climb 3 flights of stairs to reach it. Good size rooms with decent storage space, airconditioned, and very good bathrooms. We have been staying at Hotel Goldene Rose for the past 12 years. We come every year, sometimes even twice during the winter season. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. We spent our second holiday here, this time in the summer. Both stays were great, we love this hotel. Its location is great for summer hiking and skiing. I was back at the Taushof for the first time in many years, this time with my family. With 5 people we booked an apartment "E", which also looked great on the homepage. Unfortunately we got a room that probably hasn't been renovated in the last 20 years. In addition, it was directly under the terrace of the restaurant, so that you could "experience" the cleaning up of the restaurant until 11 p.m. and...

This is a good 3 star hotel and is priced accordingly. Positives are comfortable beds with good linen and towels and friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner are good 3 star level, but definitely not the quality you would expect in a four star hotel. If you miss the last shuttle at 5.30pm, you have a long walk uphill in ski boots. Most people used the stairs as the lift was so small and so slow....

Honestly if you bring a stitcher 4 with a lot of heals you’re running this lobby with your friends 100% recommend

We had a great week skiing here, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Shutter to keep out the light also helped to ensure a good night's sleep. There's superb views of mountains and the town from the front-facing rooms with balconies. Skiing is made easy with a ski room for gear in the basement, and a shuttle (a wee minivan) to take you to the Col Rodella lift and bring you back...

Fantastic place, not many wasps or hornets, although there were some shredders lurking around the pool. Highly recommend this place though as a solo and I am sure it would be equally as good as trio

I visited the area in early January- stayed here for one night on a solo trip across the northern rust-belt. Very nice facilities; medical and an assembly workshop to repair your gear. Staff mentioned a rat problem in the lobby and nearby metro station, which was promptly solved by myself and a few other nice travelers. The cafeteria was clean and served expired pasta a-la-cart. Overall great experience...

The bedroom's decoration was very fantastic. Very beautiful and clean. The bed and pillow were comfy.  There balcony to sit and relax with the panoramic mountain view. The breakfast option was good and delicious. The staff was so nice and helpful. 

Stayed here for one night 2/10/2017 in room 206 and from checking in to checking out everything was excellent. Staff spoke good English and rooms were immaculate. Food was absolutely fantastic ( see restaurant review). Will definitely be staying here again when working in area.

My family and I stayed here for two nights the weekend prior to Christmas to enjoy the market in nearby Bressanone. We stayed in an apartment and loved all the room. When you travel with small children, the more room, the better. I enjoyed having all the amenities of home such as a kitchen and all the utensils needed to prepare things if I needed to. Driving home from our roadtrip through Italy, it was just by chance that we stayed in this hotel. We booked a room with a balcony and the view was awesome! The room was spacious with a big sofa and has all the favorable amenities we want in a hotel. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We would love to stay in this hotel again when we explore Varna in the summer.

We had a great stay here. Traditional Alpine 'House' Rooms a good size and with a balcony. Food too was very good, both evening and breakfast. Located in a small quiet village but not far from the main road, so not isolated. EV car charger too, so I was happy

Great hotel, logistically perfectly located near the highway. The surrounding Dolomites are just spectacular. Nice spa and swimming pool options.
