A nice hotel near the center of Meran. The staff was friendly and kind, the breakfast was great, they offered many things. The room had an air conditioning, was quiet and clean. This is already our 2nd time we chose this hotel for our climbing trip in Arco and we could not be more happy. Rooms are clean and tidy, cleaned every day, staff always ready to help. Superb all in formula: gastronomic food and drinks. Well situated adjacent to one of the slopes of Solda ski resort. Solda is a rather small but well maintained ski resort.

For anyone looking to visit from now until November 2025, know that the 'paradies' hotel is currently under construction and any booking made there are instead for their sister hotel 'pension' down the road. Trying to save someone else from the same mistake as I did! Pensions is a lovely hotel though with lovely staff, 100% recommend!

Exceptionally good food in the hotel restaurant, a lot of options for every night, literally every dish we tried was fantastic. Very friendly staff, at the reception and the restaurant. A good hotel for a short stay, 3 or 4 days. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Service, as always, was very individual. Some were okay, others stood around chatting in the restaurant. The castle wasn't very large, but it had everything you could need, and the quality was excellent. The manager was very polite. A welcome drink and a variety of homemade nut cookies were provided upon check-in. I'd like to come back and try their restaurant and wine cellar if I have the chance.
