Residence Hilda in Florence

This is a terrible place to stay and arrogant management. If you arrive on a non-working day or after 1pm, congratulations, there may be nowhere to go. When we arrived at one o'clock in the afternoon, we had to wait for nearly an hour in the heavy rain before we could enter the hotel gate and put down our luggage.
As for the room, it was not as nice as in the photos, there was almost no view outside the window, just a depressing white wall. The shower gel in the bathroom was not replaced in time, which made it impossible for us to take a shower. What's worse is that it was very noisy at night and I couldn't fall asleep at all. In addition, the hotel's old air-conditioning was so noisy that it was almost unbearable.
Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Florence. You can definitely find better accommodation at this price.

The arrogance is also evident in the fact that if you arrive after 1 PM or on a non-business day, finding no place to go. We arrived at 1 PM and had to wait in the pouring rain for almost an hour before being able to enter the hotel and drop off our luggage.
As for the room, it was nothing like the pictures. The view was almost non-existent, just a depressing white wall. The shower gel in the bathroom wasn’t replaced in time, leaving us unable to shower. To make things worse, the area around the hotel is extremely noisy at night, making it impossible to sleep, and the outdated air conditioning unit was incredibly loud, almost unbearable.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Florence. At this price point, there are far better places to stay.
