Florence, Viale Michelangiolo 78 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
There is a shuttle service to the centre and back for those who do not wish to walk. It costs around 8€ to get from the hotel to the city center The room is spacious, clean, and feels very authentic
From the moment we had arrived, we were smitten by very helpful (travel agency did not make our reservation clear), knowledgeable (thanks for all the recommendations from where to go and where to eat as a family) and ultimately extremely caring staff
Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Classy hotel with a great view of florence. The hotel has a stunning garden and terrace, some of the room balconies overlook that space
Note that the hotel area is serene and quiet, not suitable if you're looking for a wild time The hotel is right outside the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet close enough to walk to the center
Finally the staff is awesome very friendly, eager to help. The shuttle service to Florence is nice. Very nearby you have the michelangiolo plaza from which you have even better views of Florence
Absolutely wonderful both the hotel and the restaurant! I booked this hotel for our belated honeymoon trip and my wife and I agree that this is the best place we have stayed at in many years

The staff were friendly and answered many questions without us feeling we were an annoyance, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful which we used to have in the lovely courtyard with the resident pigeon for company
It is in a great location, on a quiet street but within two minutes walking we were in a busy place, we were able to enjoy our sightseeing without ever being too far from the hotel
Myself and my teenage nephew enjoyed a few days in beautiful Florence and we stayed at this lovely hotel for our stay
I would love to stay there again
A beautiful comfortable hotel with excellent service. Safe parking for our classic car. Easy walking to the favourite sites in Florence. We were only there one night 1st May 2019 but memorable
Centrally located which makes visiting the city easy. The staff was fantastic! They suggested places to eat that were more local than tourist which was nice

Fisnik, one of the hotel staff replied and checked out the rates for courier service and sent me the relevant form to fill out so that he could send the charger back to me in Denmark, where I lived
It was such a relief to get my charger back again and I am so thankful for Fisnik who has simply been most helpful, fantastic and service oriented
I found the price too expensive and suggested that he just use the ordinary mail and he promptly did that
There was a distinct sewage smell throughout the entire hotel during our stay and there seemed to be a problem with the toilet running constantly. Great places to go for food all around the hotel
I stayed in Hotel Byron for 3 nights in late May 2014. When I left the hotel, I left my mobile phone charger in the room. I emailed the hotel the next day to inform them about the situation
from the reviews posted on the site, there are negative reviews honestly, I was worried then instead considering the price and that we are in florence for the two days that I was in this hotel not I and sorry certainly you can improve for the rest and very convenient being close to the station s

Hotel a few steps from the main attractions, the room clean and well maintained. Personal available.
Also had their A/C turned off because apparently it got cool at night so they just said to open the windows. But mosquitos would enter if I did that, so I found that suggestion weird. But a nice stay for a great price!
The rooms were fine , the beds firm and the linen fresh and lovely. Breakfast not a vast choice but perfectly adequate and enjoyable. Reception staff very helpful and the young lady was charming
Fresh towels daily, and in a wonderful old building. Showers could use some anti mildew cleaning. Short walk to train station and short walk to any tourist attraction
My wife and I together with two friends stayed here for four nights on the 20th April. We had two large rooms overlooking the square at the front of the hotel
The location of the hotel was excellent , a quiet oasis to return to after a busy day site seeing in the City. Thank you team we will return

Very beautiful place, very silent area, friendly staff with good English, good breakfast, air conditioner in room, very clean! Highly recommended!
Clean, cheap, close to the centre, the room is large and functional bathroom, private parking and helpful staff, good breakfast.
The lady serving the breakfast she had an eye for my husband who has celiac disease by providing packaged products. Inside parking excellent solution for those travelling by car
A 15-minute walk from the centre of Florence. Great for families with children. Quadruple room spacious and comfortable
We've been good! Excellent solution quality for the price!
Nice place. Great breakfast. Close to city center.

I loved staying here and if I'm coming back to Florence one day, this will be the first place I check the room availability.
For me its amazing, very big room, large washing rooms, 2 heater, room was warm, with balcony. Washing room is nice, balcony give you amazing time with coffe at the morning
Only the that enteranc of the hotel will disappoint you as its not hotel enteranc, rather than is its amazing. For price, it worth mise even
Strategic location near everything, big and clean rooms, a fantastic all day bistro in the same building, but l'll not come again, as it's very difficult to sleep at nights due to the high temperature in rooms even there are a/c, but centraly controlled keeping the temperature higher than 27-28 C

Me and my partner stayed here in May, staff were lovely, location was great and rooms were clean. Definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast included with a nice array of bread, croissants, cake, yogurt, cold meats
Great value for money hotel in a lovely part of Florence. The rooms are basic but very clean and spacious. Staff is helpful, professional and friendly. Walking distance to all points of interest in the city
We had a lovely 3 night stay here. Staff were so polite and professional, easy location within walking distance to all the main sites. The room itself is simple and has everything you need for a short stay
There is also a beautiful courtyard to sit in and enjoy. Reception is 24/7 which allowed us to come and go easily and felt very safe. Would recommend if you’re visiting Florence!
A Great place to stay, friendly staff (they speak English and Spanish), close to the center 15 minutes walking to The Duomo and 10 minutes ride from Stazione SMN, they have a gran variety of pastry for breakfast, and the room for 3 was comfy
We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect în order to access the main attractions. The rooms were clean, spacious and the staff is extremely friendly and polite

Florence, Via Della Scala 12 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I heartily recommend to everyone, great location, affordable and the maximum value of the lady at the front desk (Natalia) is infinitely helpful. :-)
(15th Century building!) The woman who was on the desk, Nadia, was amazing! We were made to instantly feel at home. She was genuinely caring and interested and made you feel that she was only there for you
(Hi Nadia, from Bob n' Robin in Canada!) The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. It had a small desk and chair plus sometimes weak wi-fi (much improved in the lobby) but it was all we needed
This hotel is only reachable via quite a few stair cases so consider if you can carry your luggage from the street. Room was clean and well kept with a decent breakfast in the morning
We really lucked out when we found the Hotel Elite. It was exactly what we wanted. Affordable, close to everything that was of interest to us in Florence and historical to boot
It was a very short walk to and from the train/bus station which was a bonus and an easy walk to Uffici Gallery, Duomo, Ponte Veccio and all the magic that the city offers

Florence, Via Bolognese Vecchia 224 (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Adoravle, quiet place with an incredible view over all of Florence including the Duomo. We skipped our next destination and extended our stay up at Rondini because we loved it so much
Beautiful place, great service and a super chill pool with kiosk. Couldn't have asked for anything else!
the hotel have an old fashion look wich i think is pretty cool. The pool area is big but could be better since most og the sunbeds lies on a small hilside with dirt as ground
The restaurant is very expensive and you don't get much for the money, but a 10min drive could take you to the restaurant called Zocchi wich is great and cheap. The breakfirst was ok but nothing more than that
and even though the hotel say it is free, you have to pay a "toll" (4€ pr. Day) to stay at the hotel, wich covers the breakfirst and order things
but if you look past that, the pool area is great, it may have the best view over Florence, of all the hotels in Florence (see the pictures)

It was what I was expecting, a place to stay near the airport, comfortable, clean, and decent. The only con for us is the shower which is very small, but it works
The hotel is very close to the airport, making it ideal for air travelers. Clean, and the staff was friendly. The taxi we ordered arrived on time.
I liked the view in the balcony we could see a real neighborhood, there was soccer camp and buildings
Rooms are rather spacious Staff polite and breakfast satisfactory The only negative is the bidet which is attached to the shower and then a little uncomfortable but you can bear easily Clean rooms, serene environment Bus stop within walking distance to reach the center of florence
Pros:The reception was friendly and helpful. working AC, nice mountain view from balcony, comfortable bed. Cons: Location is good for airport travel but a bit far from city center
Transportation service is not good to this location from center. only one bus but not frequent in the weekend. The bathroom was not good enough especially the shower

He was absolutely amazing, he mapped out where to and where not to eat, recommendations and assisted with booking of our wine tour and tickets - he really made out trip in Florence
We found the staff to be really friendly, especially the lady who serves breakfast, who was endlessly cheerful and helpful! With breakfast and an afternoon tea selection included as well, this hotel offers amazing value for money in a great location, and I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to others
Great hotel if you are staying in Florence. If you find Ricardo in the front the desk - very helpful with tour trip and food/tour suggestions. He can also help you with reservations. Rooms here and service is top class
Amazing hotel! Location is great, so close to many main attractions. We were able to go out for the morning, return to regenerate then wander out again for the afternoon/night
Rooms are very clean and large however bathroom is a little small but has everything you need. Staff are so helpful and attentive with a lovely daily breakfast. If you stay, you must find Ricardo at the front desk
What a great little hotel! A really convenient, central location puts it within walking distance of all the main attractions, as well as the Santa Maria Novella station, if arriving in Florence by train

The building has its quirks—it is over 170 years old after all—but all the amenities, shower, bathrooms, air conditioning etc. are modern, clean and worked perfectly for us. We couldn't have been happier with everything!
Cozy hotel set in a beautiful, well-maintained palazzo. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival and were able to check in several hours early. Staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are very spacious
Awesome staff, woke up late and missed breakfast but no problem I was brought cappuccino and croissant without asking. Walking distance to everything
Upon arrival I was upgraded to a suite and it was absolutely beautiful. Mini fridge stocked with owner made wines and chanti which were delicious
Sleep in a Palazzo, what more can you expect? +24 foot ceiling, big rooms, arts in the corridors is what is waiting for you
Wonderful place, great accommodation. We were extremely satisfied with our experience there even if it was a short one.

not good for coples, cheap but not clean. shared bathroom and toilet. be careful. hard to fins the place
To take into consideration the fact that it is on the second floor without elevator, and then, in the case of a numerous and heavy baggage, the arrival and the departure may not be very easy
Beautiful experience in the pension Canada, located in the heart of Florence, in the pedestrian area where it is easy and convenient to reach every masterpiece of the Florentine
The rooms and bathrooms are perfect, treated with a cleaning obsessive. A note of credit goes to the owner, Tina, with a bright character that puts everyone at ease
If you stay, I recommend it, don't miss the opportunity to get the useful and funny information that Tina can give you
Pro: Very clean, nice design and big rooms. The host is very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, in old city centre, close to every important objective and also close to railroad station (10 - 15 min walk)

Basic room, ideal if you're not planning on spending too much time in it. Shared bathroom and showers. Great location for budget restaurants, and about 10 mins walk from the major sites.
It was a last-minute change in plan to stay in Florence instead of Rome for the new year. We were lucky to find this hotel near Santa Maria Novella train station for less than what the other hotels were asking for
An important point to note that the hotel is on the third floor & the building does not have an elevator. You will have to carry your bags up on your own
Our room is one of the rooms that have a private bathroom. The room tends to get chilly at night despite having the heater on

Loved the stay, ac worked flawleslly, rooms were clean, nothing to complain about. Recommend
The one and only downside to this apartment was the air con, it was ridiculously warm on a night and although the apartment is comfortable it didn't make for a great night's sleep. Other rooms may be different though
The location superb. Not in the center but is very quiet and has access to interesting places in a few minutes. The staf correct and very attentive. The apartment spacious and very clean. Highly recommended
The man at check is was super friendly and helpful. Gave us great insight to the city and where to visit. The apartment was lovely and clean, extremely spacious and had everything we could possibly need
nice, quiet and clean with a kitchenette. to get to the center you have to be some sports, if you fast you put in 20 min.
My room was simple and the kitchen lacked many basic amenities and appliances. The hot water was broken when I arrived but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Convenient location.

Florence, Via Faenza 56 Nero (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I was a little worried when I booked it and I looked at the reviews, but when I first got there I was really surprised by how clean it is and how polite the staff is as well! There is an elevator that can take you to the 3rd floor (I had read that there wasn't one), there were no ants or bed bugs, my bedsheets had a very nice and clean scent, no sockets were hanging out of the wall and no shower head...
Of course it has it's faults one of the sockets hanging out the wall, the shower head was broken and there were ants in my blanket most likely due to air drying it outside but i didn't mind I have that problem sometimes myself at home but if I was to complain they for sure would have been happy to help
This hostel has a lot of bad reviews but to be honest it's actually pretty good! It's spotless and the man at the desk is very kind and helpful despite the lack of English we got the idea of what was being said
There was a bathroom in my room and it was very clean! Only disadvantages were that the bathroom door didn't lock and there were no towels provided, but I didn't mind because I had brought my own
The air conditioning works well, It's in a brilliant location! It's nothing special but I would stay here again. If I was to change one thing it would be lockers! They need lockers
There isn't anywhere to keep your luggage safe so you either take the chance or pay for it to be locked up. The WiFi is bad in the rooms but perfect up the front

and the elevator is slow motion type which might give you time to plan your day ahead :) ! You will have to move your luggage with elevator or stair, I disn't wait the elevator and was excited to use the stair, thanks to the woman who helped me on that
I enjoyed my stay with my family for two nights, even when we were forced to stay the second night at Vince because we missed the train, when we entered our room in the morning we forgot all our tiredness and we all smiled as we saw the table perfectly furnished by cups of juse and benuts will illegant paper saying ( enjoy your last night at florance ) This was a remarkable memory
They speak very good english which is great for english speakers and the room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is served on a Cafe nearby and the food is better than most of the other hotel buffets
I can guarantee that you will forget that you are tired at the reception desk. Smiling staff members are amazing and very helpful. Perfect location is not the only advantage of this residence
check attached photos taken nearby at minutes of walking. it is clean , neat and contain good facilities. breakfast is nearby in the same Street with limited choices
Great B+B, lovely staff, great location, new and spacious rooms. Only downside is some stairs to deal with, before you enter, and a slow elevator after that.

The place is not permanent staffed tough. When I arrived, I had to call the place on the phone, then the manager came by 10 minutes later and let me in. It was not otherwise a problem. I really enjoyed staying there
Everything was great! comfortable beds, clean linen, and toilets. lovely view of the suburbs. only negative : no lift. *sigh*
Water kept dripping and the staff couldn't able to communicate well in English. Had to wait at reception for 10+ min cause there were no staff members at the reception. The room also wasn't that great
There's a healthy food cafe called Albero really close to the hostel where I had breakfast everyday (natural yoghurt with fruits, nuts, honey and granola for only 3,5 euros!) Recommended ;)
I woke up at 10 am and saw the two men who work there staring at me while cleaning the room. Quite uncomfortable, who knows how long they stared at me while sleeping xd
Besides from that it was a reasonable place with a large bathroom and in a very good location

We stayed for 4 nights in April 2019. It is in the center of Florence and its main attractions. Apartment is very clean with comfortable beds and kitchen. However, it has very slow internet
Also the electric kettle in the kitchen has a different plug from the outlet, so you would need to use your own adapter. It is somewhat inconvenient if you need to use it often
nice and cozy. the landlady is very kind. check in around 3pm. check out 10 am. you can leave your luggage until3pm. nice stay.
