Hotel Botticelli

Florence, Via Taddea 8 (in the centre) 🧭

The location couldn’t be better—everything is within easy walking distance. Just a quick note for drivers: the hotel is located on a one-way street, so plan your arrival accordingly

Wonderful Stay! I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were friendly and professional, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent

Overall, a fantastic stay and I’d definitely come back!

Staff friendly and very helpful. Room a little disappointing for a 4* hotel (more like 3* Italian hotels we have stayed in), especially the bathroom and plumbing (low water pressure)

Overall a lovely place to stay, in a great location - 5-6 minute walk to the Duomo and minutes from many bars and restaurants! About a 10 minute walk to the ponte vecchio. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The constant presence of staff at the front desk was reassuring, and their guidance was excellent. It was a nice touch to have two complimentary bottles of water in the room

Delle Nazioni Hotel

Florence, Via Luigi Alamanni, 15 (in the centre) 🧭

The hotel is very close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk away. It's also conveniently located within a 10 to 15-minute walk of attractions like the Duomo and the Accademia Gallery

The next morning, it was less than a 2km walk to the Uffizi Gallery, where we managed to get early bird tickets for 8:15 AM. The room was spacious, and the breakfast was excellent

Hotel is very close to Florence S. M. Novella Station. Our room, which is a triple room, is spacious and has a balcony. Staff are polite and professional. Good breakfast.

It's incredibly noisy, and it's that low, vibrating kind of sound that's hard to describe. The breakfast was delicious, but I'll never stay here again

If you're looking for an all-nighter, book this hotel – guaranteed you'll be wide awake until dawn

Overall, it offers great value for money and comes highly recommended

Ginori al Duomo Hotel

Florence, Via dei Ginori, 22/24/26 (in the centre) 🧭

The only decent item was the croissants, which were clearly bought externally. The Ham & Cheese Toast arrived barely warm and was clearly made using cheap ingredients. The cappuccino and tea were horrible

Please avoid booking breakfast; the 8 Euros would be better spent elsewhere. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am and it is served directly to your room. On our last morning, despite clearly indicating 8

A hand towel, after our use, had visible stains and we placed it on the floor for it to be changed the next housekeeping. However, it was folded, and placed back on the rack instead of being replaced

The orange juice was an unnatural red colour and tasted like powdered juice mixed with water. We had breakfast for two mornings. On the third morning, we switched to cereal and milk

The mattress springs were broken, and I felt like I was falling off the bed when turning in my sleep. Air-conditioning worked well, and the toilet had a bidet and shower

The plain milk was fine, but the chocolate milk was BEYOND HORRBLE. It tasted like milk mixed with unsweetened cocoa powder, with no sweetness and a spoilt taste

Soggiorno la Pergola

Florence, via della Pergola 23 50121 Firenze, via della Pergola (in the centre) 🧭

The room was comfortable, with strong air conditioning(perfect for hot days) and a fridge to keep drinks cool, also provide with two wellcome water! A nice touch was the coffee machine with free capsules—great for a morning pick-me-up

My family and I had a wonderful stay and Massimo was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very easy to get in touch with. The decorations were charming and the bed was so comfortable. Book it!

The location was ideal: just a 10-minute walk to the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore), and close to other attractions. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable

The vintage furniture seemed to have been picked with such care, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. The room itself was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring

The food was excellent and plentiful, a perfect way to start the day! Every detail in this accommodation has been carefully considered to create an exceptional experience

It’s a great place to stay. The owner is great, the Duomo is very close, and feels very rustic. The rooms and the building are quite old but maintained very well. Very clean. Definitely recommend!

Villino Roster

Florence, Viale Machiavelli, 9 (2 km from centre) 🧭

Rooms are updated but still have that Villa charm. Beautiful wood floors, real wood shutters and privacy screens with 2 separate glass panes. Silvia and crew make every available effort to make you comfortable

Hosts are very kind and helpful. It's a considerable walk from the center of Firenze, but handy if you are driving and prefer a calmer place to spend the night! Easy access to public transportation too

They help with breakfast in the morning. The location is so close to Firenze. Another 10 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio. They have a front courtyard to hang out in with privacy wall all around

The villa looks amazing, rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom spotless. We definitely want to come back. The location is great, whether you want to stay in Florence or explore Tuscany

You'll receive 3 keys when you register. Front gate, front door and your room. This is located on a busy street called Senese. Which gives you great location but some street noise

The villa is superb, the owners are incredibly friendly, welcome and humane. They constantly expressed much sincere personal interest in your comfort during the stay

Palazzo Lombardo

Florence, Viale dei Mille 6 (2 km from centre) 🧭

I was comfortable taking the bus to the city center sights. And appreciated the value of this nice place to stay at a very reasonable price. There was a wonderful caffe within 3 blocks and other conveniences closer

The staff were very friendly and helpful with my request for help to adjust the room thermostat. The room was quite large with high ceilings and a big bed. I would highly recommend the property!

Location is close to campo di marte station however a little away from the main Florence hustle however a bus station is fairly which connects you to Florence centre every 10 minutes

Beautiful, clean and well equipped room. The airconditioner was great for the hot days. Tiziana is a great hostess! She is very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is well positioned in a beautiful neighborhood

A really nice property with a super hostess at the Front Desk. Room clean and spacious as well. Able to drop off our luggage a few hours before check-in. Very easy walk to the local train station, 10 minutes or so

The room was nice and big with high ceilings, beautiful terrazzo floor, big bathroom and window, nice lighting and generally very comfortable. The manager was extremely helpful

L'Ulivo Chiantigiana 115

Florence, 115 Via Chiantigiana (60 min from centre) 🧭

A place to relax, isolated from noise, with a garden view. Everything was spotless, clean, and pleasant: bathroom, bedroom. I'll take back fond memories! Thank you so much!!! 🌹😀 L'ulivo Chiantigiana 115 Florence, Italy

The hotel has a terrace and a garden where you can relax in the evening. Very clean rooms, everything works, plumbing and furniture in excellent condition. I recommend this hotel to everyone

There is free parking nearby, a bus stop is 5 minutes away, buses run every 10 minutes and after 15 minutes you are in the center of Florence, very convenient

Hospitable hosts, excellent service, comfortable and quiet environment, we felt at home

Enchanting and silent place suitable for relaxation and trips even outside the city.

Super clean, spacious renovated rooms, helpful friendly owners

Plus Florence - Hostel

Florence, Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria, 15 (2 km from centre) 🧭

The location is excellent just minutes from the historic center, surrounded by museums, the university, restaurants, the hospital, and with easy access to public transport. Everything is convenient and stress-free

The location is within walking distance from the train and bus station as well as from the historical centre. It felt safe even when walking around past midnight. I stayed for a week in a ensuite 6-bed mixed room

It was clean, big enough with comfortable beds, one shower with a sink and one toilet with a sink. Toiletries as well as a towel were provided. You can lend a hair dryer at a reception

Thank you Hedi! A special thank you as well to Edgar, the handyman, who was incredibly helpful , Lara at the bar thank you for your excellent service, and the cleaning staff were also friendly and welcoming, always maintaining the spaces with care and attention

My roommates were also solo travellers staying for similar lengths of time so I almost didn't have any new roommates coming throughout the stay and I found it convenient - we enjoyed the chats in the room or on the terrace and could co-exist very well

At the reception they are used to the fact that people are drying their hair at night in a common room close to the reception. The locker is large enough, with a hanger as well. There are no hangers on the walls

Hostel Santa Monaca

Florence, Via Santa Monaca 6 (in the centre) 🧭

The guy at check-in was speedy and got into our rooms in short order. We booked the cheapest 22 person room, and it's much more tolerable than you'd think

I booked this hostel from October 29th to November 14th of 2025. It was my first hostel (pretty much) and first time solo traveling. I needed a place cheap where to stay for 2 weeks

Like him there are a lot in this hostel, because is the cheapest one in town. There are also quite a good amount of long term guests here, Italian and immigrants alike

I won’t be back!!!! After this, everything feels like a 5 star 💫 (which is great 😆… but I’m not getting the cheapest hostel again 🤞). Like the old aging goes: you get what you pay for

Clean beds, ok showers, communal kitchen for basic cooking with pots and pans. Close proximity (2 blocks) to the bridge crossing the Arno River for all the sight seeing

There was a creepy guy at some point, so I put a sheet as a curtain, and in the last days during an afternoon while I was charging my battery bank, it was stolen. Will I stay here again? No, unless I have no choice

The One Firenze Hotel

Florence, Borgo Ognissanti 67 (in the centre) 🧭

I loved staying here and if I'm coming back to Florence one day, this will be the first place I check the room availability.

For me its amazing, very big room, large washing rooms, 2 heater, room was warm, with balcony. Washing room is nice, balcony give you amazing time with coffe at the morning

Only the that enteranc of the hotel will disappoint you as its not hotel enteranc, rather than is its amazing. For price, it worth mise even

Strategic location near everything, big and clean rooms, a fantastic all day bistro in the same building, but l'll not come again, as it's very difficult to sleep at nights due to the high temperature in rooms even there are a/c, but centraly controlled keeping the temperature higher than 27-28 C

Mwehhh. Cockroaches. Noisy bar till 2am across the street. Ugly lights. Very dated interior and no atmosphere. Fantastic location. Decent bed. Liked that we got water and coke zero in the fridge.
