Fattoria San Donato Farm

We absolutely Love Fattoria San Donato ! Last year, my wife and I spent a week of our honeymoon at this incredible location and when we were planning our summer holiday for 2024, knew that we had to go back. Both experiences far exceeded our expectations. This is a great location for people who want to relax and lounge by the pool (incredible views) or take day trips into San Gimignano, (awesome medieval town) Florence, or Siena. The breakfasts, dinners, and wine (made by them) that they serve are most amazing, but the reason why we love this place so much is because of the family feel you get while we visited both times. The staff are incredibly friendly and really made us feel at home. We could not recommend this incredible agriturismo more and can't wait to visit for a third time !

Wife and I stayed for a week with another couple in April and had a great experience! The owners and staff were all very welcoming and made us feel like family! Thanks to Umberto, Federica and Ricardo for everything they did to make our time there unforgettable! Grounds of the property were beautiful as were the views of San Gimignano. We had delicious food experiences on several occasions and we loved all their wines! It is laid back and a little remote which is just what we wanted after our other stops in Italy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Every aspect of Fattoria San Donato is pure joy! The family that runs it is courteous, kind, and incredibly helpful treating everyone like family. The rooms are comfortable and stunning in detail, especially if you're lucky to have a window overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The grounds are mesmerizing and the buildings authentic and quaint. The breakfast room is an experience in it's own based in a cellar that is absolutely gorgeous and with SO much to choose from including eggs made to order as you like. And definitely TAKE THE COOKING CLASS!! We were blessed with Caterina who was not only knowledgeable with the dishes she taught us, she had a passion about the area and the food that she could share with us. She spent SO much time helping us master each thing, especially the two homemade pasta doughs we made. I've even reached out to her for tips to recreate the delicious Tiramisu we made together. I highly recommend Fattoria San Donato.

What a beautiful vineyard !!! We visited for wine tasting and a meal , food was amazing and the wine just as good , excellent value for money , the service was attentive and nothing was too much trouble . Ricardo was very informative and funny . Angelica was just delightful , not forgetting Fredrica and her husband they made you feel like friends . Michael was lovely too . Merlot the dog was adorable . You must visit !!! I would have been happy with the anti pasti and first bottle of wine for what we paid but another 4 courses came out !! , thank you for making our friends birthday so special and really hope we can visit again soon xx

The whole experience was amazing! We were a group of 18 friends and each and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the visit. We were met by Riccardo who was so knowledgeable and friendly who showed us the cellar and the vineyard. We were presented with a beautiful 4 course meal, the food was exquisite and accompanied by their wine which were amazing. Such a friendly and enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend you visit this vineyard.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fattoria San Donato. It was a highlight of our whole trip. We had a spacious apartment that was very comfortable, and we loved the amazing food, the wonderful hosts, the beautiful grounds (rustic buildings surrounded by grape vines and olive trees), the pool, the farm animals, and the proximity to San Gimignano. While staying here, we took part in a cooking class that was the #1 highlight of our trip. We made 3 different kinds of pasta (ravioli, tagglietelle, and pici), learned how to make tiramisu, with our teacher sharing history and stories throughout. We sampled wine and snacks as we cooked, and then sat down to enjoy an absolute feast including the pasta and tiramisu we made. My husband received specially prepared gluten free versions of everything. And we really loved the experience of dining around a big table with our very international group of cooking students. We also had dinner here on our first night, which was a whole multi-course feast including Bisteca Fiorentina (all served family style for the guests). My family is still talking about the zucchini pasta that was part of that meal. It was the best pasta dish we had our whole trip – seemingly just pasta, zucchini, and cheese combined into magic. (The cooking class and dinner should be reserved in advance.) The fattoria also provided wonderful breakfasts. Their wine was amazing too.

My friends and I spent a weekend here and wish we could have stayed for a week! All of the meals and tastings were very casual and intimate, where you get to meet other guests and all of the Fenzi family. The rooms were super cute and clean, renovated but also traditional and charming. Great communication with the hosts - about check-in, trips to San Gimignano, hikes near the estate and any other questions/concerns. Very reasonable prices, given the quality and quantity of what you get with your stay here. Highly, hightly recommend. Thank you Umberto and Federica!

Amazing property, in a gorgeous village. Great attention to details, lovely pool. Quiet rooms. Parking available. Great wine,espcially vin santo. In july the room was warm despite the fan. But with the weather these years only aircon couldwork, so best avoid july august.

We came for a historic winery tour and light lunch. Historic winery was everything you would want. Friendly people, beautiful scenery, great wine, etc. The “light lunch” was a huge spread of local meats, vegetables, soups and cheeses served to you in a wonderfully restored tower. My most memorable and favorite meal of our entire trip. We can not wait to come back and visit with our new friends. Next time we will have to stay on property.

We held our wedding party at Fattoria San Donato 1 month ago and what can I say... it was AMAZING and one of the best choices I have made! It was always my dream to get married in Tuscany, so my husband and I planned to visit some locations in the beginning of the year - this was our first and last stop. We loved the location right away - typical tuscan style, a beautiful location with a lovely garden and pool - and the food DELICIOUS! Federica was super helpful from the beginning and gave me many tips and ideas on planning the wedding. During our stay and on the day of our wedding Federica and her wonderful daughters organized everything perfectly and always checked that we and our guests have a great time. It was the most beautiful experience in our lives and we can't wait to vist again! A big GRAZIE for making the whole weekend to one of the greatest weekends wr have ever had! Jasmine & Bekim
