The hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. However, there were no coffee makers in the rooms or microwaves. The hotel lobby did not have a trash can either. The breakfast was fairly good with lots of choices.
Beautiful hotel, well maintained and very clean. We had lovely room with balcony overlooking the pool, and was bigger than expected. Centrally located, a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars and couple minutes walk to the park. The Thai spa was excellent and easy to book. Breakfast is continental style, and adequate. Lovely outdoor pool with a few sun loungers and pleasant garden area. Would...
Accommodations were very nice. Your staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located within waling distance of other restaurants and shops. Streets are well-lit and street lights allow for safe crossing. Breakfast was wonderful and had something for any palate We had a lovely, though short, stay.
We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, this is our third time to stay. We love the relaxed and quiet atmosphere at the hotel. Our room, a suite was very comfortable with lots of room. The beds are so comfortable. Breakfast is great and the staff are very welcoming. The pool area is perfect for 100% relaxation and reading. A nice walk to local restaurants and shops and a great train connection...
Great spot, was underwhelmed by the staff. They were not very helpful nor were they welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous, as is the pool. We spent a whole day at the pool and it was lovely. The spa is not worth it. We did the “Turkish bath” which was nothing like a Turkish bath, and the “warm bath” it was a lukewarm tub. Some of the jets weren’t working either. Very disappointed for the 100 euros we spent...
The reception area and maid service was excellent. The hotel is air conditioned but if you open your balcony door make sure it is closed properly, as it is tied to the AC. If open, the AC won't work. The restaurant does a good job with breakfast but if you are American, you may find the scrambled eggs and bacon not cooked enough. The selection of other items is great! Dinner was also flavorful and...

Has lost its elegance and parts are shabby and need decorating. I changed room as my double looked out onto an ugly, messy atrium.I now had a single room and a balcony with a good view. But ,the furniture was chipped and there was a circular black mark on the wall which had been inexpertly covered with a piece of paper. ITS saving grace was a beautiful large bathroom .The service was good but the...
So this review is quite mixed. The hotel is very old and tired however our room was cleaned everyday and I have no complaints about that. However the rooms are quite shabby and we had a balcony with plants that hadn’t been attended to for months on end. The walls in the hotel are paper thin so if you’re a light sleeper it would be hopeless. We could hear every word and every movement from the rooms...
On arrival at the hotel we didn’t need to wait long for our room to be ready and went up to see what it was like. The room was painted completely orange, including the ceiling, this made the bedroom feel very dark and the bedroom lights were not very bright, the bedhead was damaged where, what looked like motifs, had been pulled off the fabric, the furniture was very old, which we accepted as maybe...
Excellent helpful staff. Ideally positioned to explore the area. Traditional stay in a beautiful area.
This hotel is located in a central position ready to dive in local life style or a lovely stroll in the park Receptions staff are very friendly and kind, in particular Sanije who is always ready to sort out any issues for guests. Rooms are very clean and beds are so comfortable. I came with some friends and later as part of the group. I have realized the slightly difference of food service –...
On arrival at this Hotel we had a warm welcome from Sanije at reception who checked me in very quickly and gave lots of useful information on Hotel and area Hotel has an old style about it but is very clean and pool is very nice. Food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner was very good. Hotel.also has a very good spa. Location is 2 mins from center.

Stayed here for 5 nights which were very enjoyable. All staff very pleasant and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite. Nice to have a separate area to sit after a day out in the 40+ degree heat. Our room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed breakfast but choice quite limited. We were some of the few guests that seemed to use swimming pool which although small it was always easy to get sunloungers and...
Located in a quiet part of town and yet only a few minute's walk to the center, this hotel has always exceeded our expectations over the many years we have used it for both pleasure and business. As tour guides and travel organizers we have experienced a lot of hotels over the past 30-some years but Grand Hotel Francia e Quirinale stands out on many levels, from the warm welcome at reception, to the...
Stayed here for three nights whilst visiting Florence and Pisa as part of a Travelsphere tour. We only had breakfast in the hotel but there was a decent choice of food. The staff were nice particularly the barman who was amusing and tried to teach us bits of Italian. We had evening meals at other close by restaurants in the town. Our room was overlooking the terrace roadside seating area and the street...
This hotel is in the perfect location, a few blocks from restaurants and the main shopping hub. Also, easy walk to the train/bus station, Funicular and Terme Tetttucio, previous spa and noted for their water.
I cannot fault this lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, amazing comfortable bed, lovely selection at breakfast, friendliest staff and perfect location. Highly recommended if you would like a base to explore Tuscany - easy walking distance from the train station and lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Grazie for a wonderful stay xx
I spent a week at the Francia e Quirinale Hotel in Montecatini and let me tell you what a wonderful experience I had. It made my trip so special! Firstly, the location is ideal—a perfect base for daily trips to all the popular destinations in Tuscany, such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and Siena. What’s especially nice is being able to return each evening to the peaceful and relaxing environment of Montecatini...

I'm delighted with staying at this wonderful hotel. Excellent, helpful staff. Amazing decor. A lot of pleasant impressions of the stay.)))
The glorious art deco years still live on here. A grandiose 5 star hotel that hangs on to its glory days when it hosted Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, David Bowie and the royal family. The staff are still as proud to fulfil their role as they are knowledgeable. If you like to dive back into the years of old glamour (although witg some signs of age) and want a place as a Base to explore Tuscany - you...
Fantastic luxurious hotel in great location in Montecatini Terme. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient making our week's stay very enjoyable. The room was beautiful and recently refurbished to a very high standard. The beds were so comfortable and huge enabling a good night's sleep. The choices at breakfast were very varied and as our stay was in September, we ate outside in the beautiful...
The Hotel itself is an absolute pleasure, with authentic interiors and fantastic bathrooms. It also has a beautiful bigger restaurant, from which our group has been excluded on 3 breakfasts out of 4. The smaller restaurant offered noticeably lower quality, less diverse food selection, though service was excellent there too. Our room was changed right after arrival, due to a complaint from a rather...

Our stay at La Pace in Montecatini was most enjoyable! The staff & service was great. We loved sitting in the lounge each night listening to the live music. Very nice and well managed hotel
We stayed for a week in October 2025 on a half board basis. Booked through a tour company. Room was very large with a terrace, twin beds, 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, shower and separate bath in the bathroom. Maybe a wee bit tired but a fantastic room and excellent value. The hotel has inside and outside pools, we sat by the pool a couple of days but as we were touring, no real time but very nice...
This is probably one of the most beautiful hotels in the region if not the country, immersed in tranquil surroundings and beautiful views of the hill top castle town. The elegance of the by gone days of the Belle Époque period in Italy are well preserved in the beautiful features of the hotel and the wonderful rooms. I had a fantastic junior suite that came with two balconies offering two great vies...

Amazing staff, wonderful indoor and outdoor pool
Upon entering, I was transported to another time. The hotel is quite old and has maintained its original essence while keeping up with renovations to serve guests in modern times. The bathtub/shower was definitely new, for example, but in terms of decor, it was not a modern aesthetic. Overall, it was a lovely stay. Check-in was great and the receptionist was very hospitable and wonderful. Dinner was...

Arrived by train for short visit Montecatini. Basically everything was normal.
I had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is great and the staff is so wonderfull. I would highly recommend the Vitaliter package. Thank for at great stay.
The staff was very cooperative. Also, the room service was great. But the property itself is quiet old. The amenities can be better. The furniture also looks old and used. They need to renovate the rooms from inside.
A very nice hotel with perfect service, good cleaning, it’s really beautiful. Spa is very small but ok. Massage was good. Breakfasts are very poor, but you can do fresh juices - that’s a plus. Bar is good. It’s super close to the Thermes.
Didn’t feel like a 5 star property. The breakfast was not a 5 star, the vegan and vegetarian options were very limited, even though I had informed before hand .
Great food and very friendly staff.. would strongly recommend when staying in Montecatini Terme

Friendly staff, nice bar area.
I stayed here for a week as part of a group tour holiday. Apart from the excellent location, close to the town centre in one direction and the funicular in the other, I would not choose to stay in this hotel again. The rooms are clean but basic. I suspect that the bathroom in my room had not been redone for many years; I have never before seen rusty plugs in a hotel sink or bidet, for example, and...
We enjoyed our 7 day stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was good and easy access to town and funicular up to hill town.
I can see why this hotel gets mixed reviews. Pros: well located including close to the train station, clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Breakfast was usual international hotel fare but plentiful. Cons: showing wear and tear and dated, some of the decor is OK as fitted to the era of the hotel/town, but carpets are wearing thin etc. Everything worked for me. Room was small, but it was just...
Lovely hotel right in the centre of the town and accessible to everywhere be it restaurants, station, parks etc. Lovely accommodation - large bright rooms, I even had a terrace. I was in the main building rather than their annex across the road. Ok the room had a few things which could do with a bit of maintenance such as a broken drawer, missing light bulb but absolutely nothing that would spoil...

Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. The spa was a nice treat as well.
We stayed at Hotel Montecatini Palace for three nights over a friends wedding weekend, from Friday to Monday, and overall had a pleasant experience. I had to make some changes to an existing booking before arrival, and the process was seamless and handled efficiently. We arrived late in the evening and were warmly welcomed. Throughout the entire stay, the front desk staff stood out as exceptionally...
The city is simple and the thermal spa was wonderful, we had fun on the funicular. I booked 2 rooms by mistake and they fixed my problem. Marianne was very helpful
Great service - staff are lovely, room really pretty and well thought out, pool area great - only blip was the lunch mixed grill were cheap cuts and raw. But everything else spot on.
We stayed here for the weekend. There was sauna, jacuzzi and rooftop pool and bar. Very good place to have a relaxing time. Our room was warm and small and the first night we basically couldn’t sleep. We left the window open and of course in the morning it was too bright and noisy. The AC was under the table and that must have been the reason. I was happy to see there was an electric kettle and coffee...
We booked two superior double rooms directly with the hotel, for four nights as part of our tour around Tuscany. I communicated with the hotel beforehand to ask the room our teenagers were staying in be set up as a twin. Great thanks to Ms. Nadine for her kind assistance during our stay at your hotel! Five stars professionalism much appreciated! Highly recommend this great hotel!
After reading some of the reviews, I was honestly a bit worried about what we would find. We arrived yesterday and were welcomed wonderfully. The check-in was smooth, and the room meets everything that was promised. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The staff truly does their best. A hotel with charm.
Grand Hotel Panoramic – Good, but Missing Love for the Details Overall, the stay was mostly OK. The outdoor pool is great for longer swimming, and breakfast was good. But… there are small details that really affect the overall experience: • In the shower – only frames, but no grid! Where to put shampoo, soap, or anything else? • In the room – two huge additional mattresses just lying there. Why?...
Friendly staff who go the extra mile, beautiful room! Lots of nooks for a quiet time with a book with a good view
The location is great, nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel is really noisy, the doors of the rooms closes so hard that you wake up when someone leaves his room. Also a lot of noise from outside. The cleaning could be better. When we're arrived our room wasn't cleaned but they've gave us an other room and apologies for the mistake.
Cosy place with a very nice service

Beautiful Hotel. Friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Delicious Breakfast. The most beautiful hotel in Montecatini Terme.
Wonderful and attentive staff, great location, large room, clean and cozy. A very pleasant scent from the diffuser on the ground floor. Everything is close, including the train station.
My vacation was made even better by the hotel we stayed in as a group. They were helpful, welcoming, and affectively made our stay flawless.
Everything was clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. I would have liked to have seen more fresh fruit, but it wasn't necessary.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful front-desk staff. Huge room (4th floor). Extensive breakfast choice. (And the restaurant next door is superb). Would recommend and will probably return!
Group trip through Collett Travel. Group stayed here and took buses from this location to Sienna, San Gimignano, Florence and Lucca, perfect central location. Great restaurants and shopping. The ferris Wheel is a must! you can see the whole town up there

Stayed at the Adua for a week with a (well organized) Newmarket tour. We had a pleasant room (310) which had an excellent bathroom and quiet and effective aircon. The public rooms were beautifully furnished and the restaurant was excellent with good food and brilliant staff. In fact the staff throughout were very good, providing faultless service. Highly recommended
From the moment you step into the hotel, you're instantly impressed — it’s truly breathtaking. Everything is on a top-tier level and radiates luxury and elegance. The cleanliness throughout the entire property is flawless, and the interior design is both stylish and welcoming. Our room was absolutely perfect — spacious, beautifully furnished, and exceptionally comfortable, with cozy beds and soft,...
this hotel don’t look like a 4 star hotel . the walls in the room are dirty and the bathroom , in some places there is dirty too. the color choice doisemt seem right and it makes the room look more old and vintage but not in the right way .
My wife and I spent a very pleasant week here as part of a package. We found the staff very welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Like most well established Italian towns, the buildings are very old, but this has been adapted quite well to a hotel. The size of the rooms is variable, so best to check first to avoid disappointment. We had everything we needed and it was comfortable...
We were in a group of 24 people from India, for a one night stay. Our AC (one room) was not working and since they were fully booked.. Georgina at the reception was very helpful with getting us a solution. Thank you dear ! 🙂 The breakfast spread was also great.. totally recommend..
I spent 7 nights in the Hotel Adua. My stay was excellent. The hotel is located near to shops, bars, art gallery restaurants & the thermal spa. The evening meal was plentiful, Italian style 4 courses. Breakfast was limited it suited me as I enjoy yogurts & fruit, also eggs & toast.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Minerva Palace. This hotel is classic that is well run, very clean and in a great location. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We would stay here again when we come back to Montecatini. Richard B.
Good position hotel First impressions clean hotel We had a room on 5th floor Twin room but beds close together mattress I think were new as it was like laying on a board. Our trip was booked through EF Tours, and we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Minerva in Montecatini Terme. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well kept—just what we needed after long days visiting nearby towns. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and everything felt nicely maintained. The staff were professional and helpful whenever we had questions, and breakfast each morning had plenty of...
Staff was always very helpful and friendly. Great location for walking to the spas in the main Square as well as the train station. Clean and beautifully decorated hotel. only negative was we tried to have dinner in the dining room one night and just didn’t care for the food, but there are lots of options in the neighborhood. Breakfast were OK.
Although the rooms are quite basic they are spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. We were part of a tour group and the hotel staff coped very well with the numbers. The roof terrace was a great bonus.
We stayed as part of a group which was using this as a base for Florence, Pisa and Lucca. While the entrance lobby and restaurant downstairs had a certain (old fashioned) charm to them, rooms left an awful lot to be desired. With ceiling and walls painted an oppressive yellow, the uncarpeted floor, and the furnishings and fabrics hailing from another era, made for a rather depressing three nights...

I must have been staying at a different hotel to others! Disappointed with the standard of the room - very small, a couple of bits of old furniture, hard uncomfortable bed and old bed coverings. Bathroom adequate but nowhere, not even a shelf to store toiletries. Food was ok but disappointing breakfast - tinned fruit instead of fresh is just lazy
Well, the star of the show here is undoubtedly the pool, and whirlpool. That's why we stayed here. Even during a heatwave though, the pool was, shall we say, refreshing. The Whirlpool was delightful! The breakfast was excellent. From the moment I entered the hotel, the staff was very attentive. We had a great week here the staff were friendly and helpful, the food and wine were plentiful and we had a lovely west facing balcony room. Unlike other hotels they provided two comfy chairs. Although they cater for tour groups as well as couples the staff remembered us and treated us as individuals.
Wonderful stay at Hotel Torretta! First class experience from the moment I stepped through the door. The air conditioning failed, and they said there was nothing they could do. I went down to the reception desk to sleep. The night watchman offered me a room with working air conditioning. Sometimes you have to be incredibly imaginative.

Everything matches my expectations, excellent value for money. The door to the hallway has poor sound insulation.

Great for a budget stay in Italy! Rooms were very clean and our room was very modern with excellent air conditioning. We didn't stay for breakfast or dinner, so can't comment on that. Private car park at the hotel too which...
Lovely hotel to use as a base when exploring Tuscany. Staff lovely and hotel is spotlessly clean. Pool is in a separate building across the road and is a welcome addition after a long day in the heat,
The hotel was okay: clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast plentiful. The rooms were showing their age. It was fine for a few days.
Great hotel! Lovely cleaning staff who were very helpful when our kids got sick. Buffet staff were so friendly. Reception staff were very helpful. I would stay there again.

Good value for money. Good location. Good size of the rooms. I stayed just one night, so, I can not tell a lot about the hotel. But, when I come back to Montecatini, I return for the same hotel. This is a good point.
Views from the hotel and the food were amazing..the hotel staff was very cooperative and welcoming..Highly recommended
The outstanding feature of this hotel is the helpfulness of the staff - particularly the reception staff. Ryan Air lost my wife's bag in a flight from Cork. They gave her great help in monitoring its return. We had booked a ticket to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, but because of a national strike, we did not chance going. The reception staff went to great trouble to seek a refund - which we got. The...
This is without a doubt the BEST HOTEL IN MONTACATINI!! My family and I have stayed here 3 times since 2016. And every time it blows us away on how amazing the staff, the Cleanliness, and the breakfast are!!! As a current Hotel GM in Massachusetts, I could only wish my staff was this good. We now make it a point every time we go to Italy, we will make it a point to stay at the Tuscany Inn!!
One night stay in Tuscany, at the Tuscany Inn Hotel. the staff were very friendly and our check in was easy. Our room was one of the biggest we have ever stayed in. And a massive bathroom, all designed to be wheelchair accessible. Comfortable bed and pillows, the bathroom was well appointed. We were let down by the included dinner though, had the vegetarian burger with tomatoes and peas, not overly...
Great! Good English, convenient parking, will come again

This Grand Old Hotel is Magnificent!!! We were lucky enough to be booked here with a Gate 1 Tuscany 7 day tour with our son Matt. The front door staff was excellent and by the second day they knew what our room number was and had the key ready as we walked in from out side. The included breakfast buffet was excellent as was the restaurant staff. If we were not in our 80's and were able to travel to...
We had a wonderful week over NewYear. The food was top class and we thoroughly enjoyed the gala dinner on New Year’s Eve. Our room overlooked the square and was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is old and charming. There is a very atmospheric bar where Michele really looks after the customers……. he even made hot whiskeys which was a first for him! The staff were most efficient and friendly...
The Tuscany area of Italy was beautiful and the weather in Nov. was terrific. We enjoyed the people and the atmosphere. We took a group tour of several villages in the area and had a really great guide.
Excellent location lovely clean rooms great staff and lovely food. Good.value for money. Facilities good. Beautiful hotel.
Loved the location right on the square. Beautiful hotel. Cizy little bar. Food was pretty good. Wish they would supply 1 bottle of water a day. Desk staff was very helpful in finding the shops for me that i wanted to visit.
Having stayed in this beautiful hotel 3 years ago we made a return trip and I am glad to see the hotel is just as good as on our first visit. The perfect location for exploring Montecatini and the surrounding places of interest eg Florence, Sienna, Lucca etc. A beautiful pool area immaculately kept and with waiter service provided by the ever smiling and most helpful lady who's name I unfortunately...
