The pictures of the hotel are about 30 years out of date and the hotel no longer appears in the condition that it was represented.
The rooms pictured are NOT the rooms you get. Our room was supposed to be the lovely red and white room with clean linens, a nice bathroom...lovely as pictured. What we ended up in was a dirty brown and puke yellow room with dirty linens, stains on the carpet, a perpetual smell of feet or something rotting, and we each received about 40 bug bites each before we up and left on the second night! If you have ever watched the series American Horror Story Hotel, this place will make you feel like you are in hell like that show, seriously!
I would sleep in my car or on a bench before I would return here, literally the worst hotel in any country that I have traveled!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
The staff & service was great. We loved sitting in the lounge each night listening to the live music. The location is very convenient & a very short walk to the city center & the train station.
Our room was lovely & large as well as the bathroom.
The food & service at breakfast was great in a beautiful dining room.
We also enjoyed the view of the courtyard from our room.
The hotel is a gem & we look forward to our return.
