Outstanding services. Beautiful surroundings
This hotel is okay, but it could use some upgrades. The staff were kind, and the breakfast was good. The rooms smelled humid, though.
Thank you!
The room was very clean, great shower. The staff were so accomodating as a solo traveller they made me feel very welcome.
A good choice for a short stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, service is friendly, and overall the hotel delivers well for its 3-star rating, even if it’s not brand new.
What could be improved? We booked a lake-view room, but in the morning the windows were so dirty that they spoiled the otherwise romantic view. Also, the shower ventilation was surprisingly noisy. Still, these are minor issues...
Fair price for what you get. Off the beaten path, older hotel. We stayed in a 3 person room which was larger than others, breakfast was included and quiet good. There's a pool and a restaurant that we didn't have a chance to visit. Overall, if you've got a car and don't mind being a bit far from tourists attractions- it's a solid place.
Good service, very friendly staff.
Old building and everything you can expect of a 80' build.
Plenty of parking, short drive to Lucca.

Our favorite hotel in Italy! ❤️
The most amazing couples experience. Spa and thermal pool eat your heart out. Beautiful scenery lovely staff. Will return.
We spent our honeymoon here as we were married in San Miniato. The staff was wonderful especially Laura! There was a slight issue with our room, not only were they considerate, they upgraded our room and sent a gift to our room complimentary once hearing about our wedding.
We will definitely make this a priority to our next visit!
Good value for money for a 5 stat
I recently stayed at this spa and, unfortunately, the experience didn't meet my expectations due to several issues.
First, the room I was assigned didn't have air conditioning, a significant inconvenience for me, as I suffer from the heat even at moderate temperatures (around 22 degrees Celsius). Furthermore, the lack of an extractor fan in the bathroom caused an unbearable buildup of steam and heat...
The outside pool area was dirty, the chair cushions are mold and mildew stained and the area and pool was not clean . I went to the pool 2 days and both days were so bad I could not use the pool. All the indoor areas are extremely clean and well maintained

Fine budget hotel with beautiful landscaping featuring a gigantic tree. Restaurant serves simple buffet, breakfast and dinner.
Comfortable and clean, nice food, friendly staff, but needs rooms updating.
La Querceta was not a Hotel we booked but a hotel we were re assigned. We may have initially been disappointed after our long walk from the station but the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful which I think counts for a lot. The rooms are clean, basic but comfortable. It is not a luxury Hotel.
The meals ( we had half board) were excellent. Authentic Italien cooking and Angela ( who seemed to...
Simple hotel, located in a good position in a quiet area but not far from the centre. Quadruple room for double use on the third floor, not very large but clean and well maintained, small but new bathroom with built-in shower corner, bidet and everything you need. Usable balcony from which you can admire a beautiful panorama. All the staff proved to be excellent both in terms of professionalism and...
The hotel is not far away from the center with the advantage of the private parking (not really large)
Rooms are complete but small. The main drawback is the lack of noise insulation, not from the outside but from other room and corridor
The breakfast is average
I was there for 5 nights. The room has two single beds. The bathroom was a little bit small as well the room. There were a balcony. The breakfast was fine either the lunch and the dinner. The receptionist was friendly. The neighborhood was quiet and near the center.

Stayed in this hotel Oct '25 for one week. Hotel was spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable & warm rooms. Housekeeping in every day, fresh towels & sheets, rooms cleaned every single day. The staff in this hotel are wonderful, friendly, warm & very helpful. There is a policy in this hotel that your drinks etc are charged to your room and paid for just before leaving, it's worth noting you can request...
The hotel is excellent 👌, staff are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing 👏 The view from balcony is fantastic. I recommend it
Breakfast: Great selection at breakfast, but, an option of an omelette or porridge would be nice. No need for chocolate rice crispies. We ran out of granola one morning, but, we were later told that there was a supply “out back”. The fruit juice machine produces poor quality juice. Fresh fruit salad, when available was excellent. The salads for the evening meal were excellent. But, main courses while...
Nice hotel with great location in a quiet area. Close to the cable car to Motecetini Alto Clean and nice and friendly staff
From the minute we arrived staff were very accommodating and courteous. Hotel had a great location even had perfect parking. A/C in the room was great even though we were there during the heatwave. Everything was excellent breakfast, dinner and the room itself including the view we had from the balcony. Will definitely come back.
Shocking room, swallows nesting on balcony balcony all broken tiles, unusable. Two single child beds, for two adults. Bathroom horrific, toilet brush full of fecise, reception asked twice, no help ! Arrived by train for short visit Montecatini. Basically everything was normal.
I had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is great and the staff is so wonderfull. I would highly recommend the Vitaliter package. Thank for at great stay.
The staff was very cooperative. Also, the room service was great. But the property itself is quiet old. The amenities can be better. The furniture also looks old and used. They need to renovate the rooms from inside.
A very nice hotel with perfect service, good cleaning, it’s really beautiful. Spa is very small but ok. Massage was good. Breakfasts are very poor, but you can do fresh juices - that’s a plus. Bar is good. It’s super close to the Thermes.
Didn’t feel like a 5 star property. The breakfast was not a 5 star, the vegan and vegetarian options were very limited, even though I had informed before hand .
Great food and very friendly staff.. would strongly recommend when staying in Montecatini Terme

Great thanks to Ms. Nadine for her kind assistance during our stay at your hotel! Five stars professionalism much appreciated!
Highly recommend this great hotel!
After reading some of the reviews, I was honestly a bit worried about what we would find.
We arrived yesterday and were welcomed wonderfully. The check-in was smooth, and the room meets everything that was promised.
The breakfast exceeded our expectations.
The staff truly does their best.
A hotel with charm.
Grand Hotel Panoramic – Good, but Missing Love for the Details
Overall, the stay was mostly OK. The outdoor pool is great for longer swimming, and breakfast was good.
But… there are small details that really affect the overall experience:
• In the shower – only frames, but no grid! Where to put shampoo, soap, or anything else?
• In the room – two huge additional mattresses just lying there. Why?...
Friendly staff who go the extra mile, beautiful room! Lots of nooks for a quiet time with a book with a good view
The location is great, nearby restaurants and shops. The hotel is really noisy, the doors of the rooms closes so hard that you wake up when someone leaves his room. Also a lot of noise from outside. The cleaning could be better. When we're arrived our room wasn't cleaned but they've gave us an other room and apologies for the mistake.
Cosy place with a very nice service

Very nice and well managed hotel
We stayed for a week in October 2025 on a half board basis. Booked through a tour company. Room was very large with a terrace, twin beds, 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, shower and separate bath in the bathroom. Maybe a wee bit tired but a fantastic room and excellent value. The hotel has inside and outside pools, we sat by the pool a couple of days but as we were touring, no real time but very nice...
This is probably one of the most beautiful hotels in the region if not the country, immersed in tranquil surroundings and beautiful views of the hill top castle town. Amazing staff, wonderful indoor and outdoor pool
Upon entering, I was transported to another time. The hotel is quite old and has maintained its original essence while keeping up with renovations to serve guests in modern times. The bathtub/shower was definitely new, for example, but in terms of decor, it was not a modern aesthetic.

I must have been staying at a different hotel to others! Disappointed with the standard of the room - very small, a couple of bits of old furniture, hard uncomfortable bed and old bed coverings. Bathroom adequate but nowhere, not even a shelf to store toiletries. Food was ok but disappointing breakfast - tinned fruit instead of fresh is just lazy
Well, the star of the show here is undoubtedly the pool, and whirlpool. That's why we stayed here. Even during a heatwave though, the pool was, shall we say, refreshing. The Whirlpool was delightful! This is an old school, family run property and it really shows. If you are looking for a property where the staff will go out of their way to make sure you have a plesant stay, this is your place. there...
Since our first stay at Torretta in 2018 we have wanted to come back and finally did get a chance. The breakfast was excellent. From the moment I entered the hotel, the staff was very attentive. I really appreciated both the warm welcome at the reception and the polite and lovely attitude of the service staff. Both the common areas and the room were very clean. Additionally, the garden was very pleasant and enjoyable.
We had a great week here the staff were friendly and helpful, the food and wine were plentiful and we had a lovely west facing balcony room. Unlike other hotels they provided two comfy chairs. Although they cater for tour groups as well as couples the staff remembered us and treated us as individuals.
Wonderful stay at Hotel Torretta! First class experience from the moment I stepped through the door. This is an exceptionally lovely hotel with incredible customer service who really helped me plan all the day trips and organise taxis. Very clean, nice heritage hotel. Rooms are pretty old and need renovation but everything was very, very clean. Sheets, towels, snowwhite! Food is something that can be improved, vegetables, salad, fruit has to be part of meals...we had just pasta and meat, all three days. No fruit, no salad. Breakfast with no eggs, sausages, just few items at buffet....
This hotel was very clean but not suited to a single lady traveller as mostly men there for work. Breakfast was from 730 to 830 and same for dinner, quite rushed when you're on holiday so best to get room only as lovely places to eat. Well located in a quiet road but near everything. The staff were lovely and friendly but not much English spoken. Montecatini is the most beautiful place I've ever been...
The room we were in was old school, not much space, old furniture, tiny TV. Room was not very clean when we arrived. Walls are thin so you can hear everything. Breakfast and dinner were nothing special. If need something just to sleep in then...
From the outside you could say it is a nice small "turn-de-siecle" hotel, even in the lobby it is a nice period structure. But all positives stop here.

Stayed at this hotel for a school trip.
The hotel was tired but the facilities were all that we needed.
Everything was clean and the beds were made daily. The towels were very thin and not at all absorbent, so I would recommend bringing your own!
The breakfast selection was limited. Dinner was fresh and a wide range of food was served but the service itself was very slow.
The staff were friendly...
Contrary to previous posts, there were no bed bugs or rats. Rooms were clean. We had a student group traveling so we had 25 rooms. The only issue was one AC unit not working properly. Asked management to fix it but it still didn’t work. Asked to change rooms and were told “no”. That was the only negative we ran into. The location was not wonderful (some run down/falling down buildings nearby), but...
I recently stayed here with a big group of people and it reached a good standard. It is a typical Italian hotel from the 80’s. Decor is dated but it had character.
Nothing really fancy but it was clean.
The bedrooms were clean and the mattresses were all new.
The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful in my opinion.
We also had a group dinner here and it was again good.
Only 1 A/C out...
Decent rooms. Good shower, beds were okay, working air-conditioning. Food was okay. Nice view out of window and balcony. Word of warning though, if you're using the bidet, don't put it on full blast or anywhere near the hot side of the tap. - had a near death experience there😬. Also, don't exceed the 4 person lift rule.
We were guests of this structure for a sports competition of my son. Clean structure, abundant breakfast with a lot of choice (at least 3/4 desserts that seemed homemade) and also for dinner which was included in our half board, nothing to complain, BUT we hardly slept a wink: really too soft mattress and high pillow and very hard, to which is added the fact that the windows did not have blackout curtains...
In the structure, certainly not of the latest generation, there would be several small things to fix (wardrobe doors/shower cubicles) for those with a spirit of adaptation it's fine. Clean sheets and bathroom kit. Our visit was for a football tournament with 12 year old boys. However, the availability of Mr. is to be appreciated. Maurizio, already available by telephone before arrival to give us information...

Location is good, dont mind old rooms and furniture, it was clean, staff was friendly. But breakfast was very poor, and coffee was horrible, one of the worst i ever tried, dear God what wast that.. and italians should have good coffee, so i was told..
Owners are good people. Hotel feels like it is in the 80's. Rooms size is okay, bathroom is very small. We needed to wait for few minutes for warm water for shower. Service was nice. For breakfast we had a lot in quantity but the food was the same every day.
All in all, very good experience.
Good hotel, very clean. Towels were changed every day. We got room with balcony and it was really comfortable. Staff was really nice. Breakfast was little bit poor, standard things but not very much options in salami and they didn`t have any eggs or omelette, but all in all nice hotel for short stay. Near tran station (cca 5-10 min) and near funicular for Monetcantini Alto.
Very nice small friendly hotel with authentic look.We stayed twice with travel agency. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is near centar and train station. The room was clean and big enough for two.
The hotel has some old charm and despite it being furnished with some older furniture, everything in the hotel was absolutely spotless. Staff was very polite at all times. We had a buffet for breakfast, and there was a very polite gentleman who made us coffee of our choice.

Decent and cozy, nicely heated in cold November days. Not far from Corso Roma and spa park. Helpful personal.
The room was okay but could use some renovation, and the wall colors were quite unpleasant. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. The towels provided were unusual, more like kitchen towels than regular bath towels. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. However, the location was great, and I definitely recommend taking the funicolare!
I stayed one night in a triple room. The location is great – very close to the city center, which is definitely a plus. However, the Wi-Fi barely works, which can be quite frustrating if you need it for work or trip planning.
Breakfast consists mainly of pastries and cereal – not the healthiest selection. Luckily, they did have eggs, which helped balance things out a bit. Also, the coffee was surprisingly...
The staff was friendly, they knew English and French. Some food was bad, some food was good, I also had a hair on my plate... The rooms were okay, quite clean! The flush of the toilet was broken and the pressure and temperatures of the shower fluctuated, which made it a bit unpleasant to shower.
Excellent three star hotel, friendly staff, exquisite owner. Good quality Tuscan and Italian cuisine. Good rooms, air conditioning and TV in every room. Abundant and good quality breakfast
As many have written, the Hotel Byron has rooms that are a little old and could use some updating, but my positive opinion is linked not only to the central location but, above all, to the super professional and very friendly staff who work there. As a solo traveller, this was a great choice. Modern and clean, with excellent service from all the friendly staff. Their sister...
Excellent value and comfort
My stay was much better than anticipated. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. Comfortable linen and beds, excellent reading lights, some TV channels in English, a small bar fridge, great air con, huge bathroom with excellent Grohe shower and a lovely balcony on all rooms. The street is quiet and yet a very walkable area and only...
Stayed here on Caldeiona Travel Treasures of Tuscany Tour. Really enjoyed this trip. Pick up was from Glasgow with some further pick up along the way. Our bus acted as a feeder bus until we got to Hull for the ferry after which we got to meet our travel companion properly. As this is a coach tour there were serval key points and parts to it. Which I reviewed under Caledonian We arrived Day 3 of...

Wowsers! A hotel and a half! Fabulous location with a 5 minute walk to the centre, rooms are large and absolutely immaculate. The bathrooms are large and the 'disco showers' powerful and a delight to get clean in. Beds are so comfortable you don't want to get out of it in a morning! Now, breakfast, yummy and scrumptious and freshly cooked each morning by Barbara who is so lovely. There are also buffet...
What a lovely hotel this was. Close to the train station to go to Florence, Pisa, Lucca and more. Montecatini is a lovely quiet town, with some nice places to eat. You can get the Funicular up to Montecatini Alto, which is on top of a mountain. Very old town, with some bars and restaurants. SmArt Hotel Bartolini, is a nice quiet hotel, just a short walk from the main square. The staff are all so nice...
This property was spectacular. I enjoyed my stay very much and will stay again next time I’m in town. I especially loved the refillable water bottles and how clean everything was.
Beautiful spa town and lovely small hotel. Staff welcoming and helpful. English spoken. Brilliant breakfast from buffet or cooked and prepared on ordering, so much choice! Nothing was too much trouble for Barbara, service with a smile always. Spotlessly Clean rooms
This hotel is fabulously positioned for the centre of Montecatini Terme and only a few minutes walk away from the railway station....the link to many of the beautiful cities in Tuscany. Nearby is an absolutely gorgeous park with many things to discover including a breathtaking spa building. There is a a large free carpark a short walk from the hotel for those exploring by road, and it's not too far...

Stayed at the Adua for a week with a (well organized) Newmarket tour. We had a pleasant room (310) which had an excellent bathroom and quiet and effective aircon. The public rooms were beautifully furnished and the restaurant was excellent with good food and brilliant staff. In fact the staff throughout were very good, providing faultless service. Highly recommended
From the moment you step into the hotel, you're instantly impressed — it’s truly breathtaking. Everything is on a top-tier level and radiates luxury and elegance. The cleanliness throughout the entire property is flawless, and the interior design is both stylish and welcoming.
Our room was absolutely perfect — spacious, beautifully furnished, and exceptionally comfortable, with cozy beds and soft,...
this hotel don’t look like a 4 star hotel . the walls in the room are dirty and the bathroom , in some places there is dirty too. the color choice doisemt seem right and it makes the room look more old and vintage but not in the right way .
My wife and I spent a very pleasant week here as part of a package. We found the staff very welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Like most well established Italian towns, the buildings are very old, but this has been adapted quite well to a hotel. The size of the rooms is variable, so best to check first to avoid disappointment. We had everything we needed and it was comfortable...
We were in a group of 24 people from India, for a one night stay. Our AC (one room) was not working and since they were fully booked.. Georgina at the reception was very helpful with getting us a solution. Thank you dear ! 🙂 The breakfast spread was also great.. totally recommend..
I spent 7 nights in the Hotel Adua.
My stay was excellent. The hotel is located near to shops, bars, art gallery restaurants & the thermal spa. The evening meal was plentiful, Italian style 4 courses.
Breakfast was limited it suited me as I enjoy yogurts & fruit, also eggs & toast.
