Rooms were very old fashioned, water didn’t work for 1 day, then no hot water the next day. Got a parking ticket. But the staff was super nice and helpful!

The hotel is old but very comfortable and well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The wait staff could not have been more helpful - true professionals. The ladies that worked the front desk were totally dedicated individuals. You could tell that they enjoyed their position and helping visitors. The TV only had two English channels. One should be concerned about the parking. The hotel only has 14 parking spaces, and it is on a first come first serve basis. There is paid parking through the hotel at a reasonable price.

Definitely not 5 or 4 star. Furniture is outdated, rooms are small, showers are but the best, very narrow bathtub, terrible water pressure and water temperature changes at a whim. The walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations in other rooms. Night life in surrounding places was a constant interruption.

The hotel is very nice. Classy. Rooms are nice. Bed was a bit hard. Service was good. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Good location; central to a number of stores. Safe. Just be sure to ask for a room that is NOT at the front of the hotel. There’s a very loud nightlife out in front of the hotel. We’d definitely stay there again.

I can’t understand how this hotel has been awarded 4 stars . It s tucked away in a narrow , grotty back street . My heart sank when we were shown our room , the furniture dated back to the 1950s . There was no natural light in the room . There were shutters both inside and outside the window which were firmly closed . The furniture reminded me of the utility furniture which was issued after th war . Dark green walls were very oppressive. As our safe didn’t work we took up the offer of putting valuables in the hotel safe At reception, the problem with that was nobody was available to open the safe when you needed your passport or money !

A very pleasant hotel. It has a unique character and its own style. The entire staff gives it soul, which creates a wonderful accompaniment. The people working here live for this hotel and the hotel lives for the tourists. I felt at home there. Warm greetings to all the staff, especially Mariano, Gabrielle, Ibra, without whom breakfasts and dinners would not taste the same, and greetings to the beautiful, helpful and nice ladies from the reception, Ervisa and Adele. 😉

Hotel was nice, clean. Linens were thin and scratchy. No AC in late May made the room unbearably HOT AND STUFFY. Sleeping was difficult. That is why the lower rating. Nice roof patio. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. We had dinner in the restaurant once and it was good. Cream of asparagus soup was delicious.
