Ercolini E Savi in Montecatini-Terme

First off, amazing restaurant staff, maid service and bar tender. If not for the hospitality from them with emphases on the bar tender the place would have been a total disappointment. The front desk staff should be embarrassed for their skills at hospitality and honesty. We were told one thing, when the manager questioned her, she lied and said i never said that. Don't let the pictures fool you. There are a handful of updated rooms, but most were rundown, with burns in the carpet, mold in the bathroom and bugs crawling all over. We went to 3 rooms and settled on what was called an upgraded room. We were told it was an additional 25 EURO an evening however they wanted to make us happy and were not charging us. Keep in mind I had no issue with paying more but was assured that would not be the case. The evening before checking out we stopped at the front desk and checked our room charges; we realized the bill was too high and was informed the additional charges was for the upgrade but discounted 50% . I was not happy but i could live with that. Upon checking out the bill was even higher and was told it was for the upgraded room at full price. Very Disappointed with what the front desk considered hospitality
