Grand Hotel Croce di Malta Wellness & Golf in Montecatini-Terme

The reception area and maid service was excellent. The hotel is air conditioned but if you open your balcony door make sure it is closed properly, as it is tied to the AC. If open, the AC won't work. The restaurant does a good job with breakfast but if you are American, you may find the scrambled eggs and bacon not cooked enough. The selection of other items is great! Dinner was also flavorful and there are plenty of choices on the menu at a reasonable price.

The hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. However, there were no coffee makers in the rooms or microwaves. The hotel lobby did not have a trash can either. The breakfast was fairly good with lots of choices.

Beautiful hotel, well maintained and very clean. We had lovely room with balcony overlooking the pool, and was bigger than expected. Centrally located, a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars and couple minutes walk to the park. The Thai spa was excellent and easy to book. Breakfast is continental style, and adequate. Lovely outdoor pool with a few sun loungers and pleasant garden area. Would definitely stay here again

Accommodations were very nice. Your staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is located within waling distance of other restaurants and shops. Streets are well-lit and street lights allow for safe crossing.
Breakfast was wonderful and had something for any palate We had a lovely, though short, stay.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, this is our third time to stay. We love the relaxed and quiet atmosphere at the hotel. Our room, a suite was very comfortable with lots of room. The beds are so comfortable. Breakfast is great and the staff are very welcoming. The pool area is perfect for 100% relaxation and reading. A nice walk to local restaurants and shops and a great train connection to visit other areas as well. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Great spot, was underwhelmed by the staff. They were not very helpful nor were they welcoming.
The rooms are gorgeous, as is the pool. We spent a whole day at the pool and it was lovely.
The spa is not worth it. We did the “Turkish bath” which was nothing like a Turkish bath, and the “warm bath” it was a lukewarm tub. Some of the jets weren’t working either. Very disappointed for the 100 euros we spent there.

I really enjoyed the hotel. My favourite parts were the breakfast as you had a different variety of breakfast items that you can choose from and you can go and get more if you wanted to. I always really enjoyed the Pool as you can relax on the sunbed and have a glass of what drink you fancy. The rooms were amazing, you had loads of the space to relax on. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to come to Italy for their holiday. The receptionists are really friendly.

Beautiful, modern yet still maintaining the local feel of the Tuscany experience with the beautiful decor inside and throughout the hotel. Each employee is welcoming and kind not just to le, but over and over I witnessed their hospitality. From the check in to the check out experience every single aspect was spot on and I will be retuning and HIGHLY recommending this hotel to everyone.
The hotel has an amazing restaurant that they serve a large variety of breakfast foods for anyone in the family to find filling and delicious. They also have a nice menu to select lunch and dinner options from if you wanted to stay in and relax poolside or in your room.
Speaking of their pool……BEAUTIFUL and relaxing with plenty of lounge chairs and outside seating with the bar open to serve your wine and drinks.
They have the Thai Silk Spa to indulge in your massage and wellness needs.
You will notice each employee always smiling and greeting you, no matter the time day or night. This is the difference and experience that will have you feel when you are a guest of Grand Hotel Croce Di Malta.
This hotel is perfect for your solo, family, vacation or business travels and you will absolutely already start planning your return trip (just like me) when you get back home because of their employees, the hotels beauty and modern comforts and location of right in the middle of the peaceful park and local lively piazza.
Thank you to the management for getting the hotel experience right and safe for travelers! I HIGHLY encourage and recommend everyone to stay here while traveling in the Tuscany area due to being about 30-45 minutes from EVERYTHING you want to see and experience in Italy.
