Toscana Holiday Village

Lovely pool for kids, nice and shallow with lots of space to sit around it. The shop was decently priced and well stocked though there is a bigger supermarket within 10 minutes drive. Pitches felt private though sometimes required a bit of negotiation round other cars to get to them as they were along terraces. The facilities were clean and plenty of them. The location of the site is very good: Montopoli village is a 10 minute walk with good restaurants and interesting walks and it is close to the railway station to catch the direct trains to Pisa and Florence.

Nice camping with nice owners who speak English, French, German and Italian. There is a small medieval village nearby, and Florence and Pisa can be reached by car.

We stayed here in a dome tent for 3 nights. Everyone at the site is really helpful and the site has a very friendly feel to it. We were picked up from the train station by the owner and dropped off again, really kind. The food on site is also delicious and the pool area is clean with plenty of space and a very relaxed atmosphere.

My partner and I bought a shell box following a trip to the site last year. You could tell the site was coming out of a tough covid restriction but we still instantly felt a connection there and to the beautiful town nearby. We stayed over Christmas, stayed over in May, July and also the end of August to experience the different seasons. The staff are very friendly that run the site and we have made many friends with other buying residents. Tuscany is one of the most beautiful areas anybody could chose to visit and our shell box is a fabulous base to experience this.

We have just returned after a lovely10 day stay at the park. We bought a holiday home here last October 2021 as we found the park ideal for seeing the sights. We have visited by car Viarreggio, Livorno, Lucca, Sienna, San Gimignano, Montecantini Alte and Castiglioncello all within an hour. We also visited Liguria and Island of Elba which is longer but well worth it. There is a station in San Romano about 5 minute drive or 35 minute walk where it is easy to get to Pisa or Florence or to any of
the above. I have found the site to be very friendly and also the staff Will and Chiaria who have helped us alot. I can't comment on the shower blocks as I have had no need to use them. I have used the restaurant where the food has been good and reasonable priced. There is a pool where we use if we stay on site which is clean. I did notice a few edging tiles missing this visit but they have recently had bad weather so not sure if it is due to that. There is the local village of Montopoli 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk where we have had meals at Quattro Giglia and L'Eremite both very good. We have also used the beach at Bagna Luana this last visit which is very clean and has parking 2 euros 70 a day, The staff were very friendly there and we got a reduction for being on Toscano which cost us 4 euros a day for chair and umbrella. I would reccommend the park especially for sight seeing and I am now counting the days down to October for our next visit.

Quiet camping. Toilets and showers are a bit outdated and not very clean, but ok. Prices for a pitch are affordable for Tuscany area. Many cats on the camping. Very good situated to visit cities like Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra and many more. All within 1 our drive from the camping.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day holiday in a mobile home here in June.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the park is delightful - lots of trees and clean and tidy with great facilities including a bar, restaurant and fabulous pool area.

We didn't miss having a car as the quaint local village with bars, restaurants, shops, doctor, post office etc is only a few minutes' walk away and it's just a short taxi ride to the local station.

The local train service was good and gave us the opportunity to enjoy stress free visits to both Pisa and Florence - and hopefully next time - high speed from Florence to Rome!
