Vacation with the dog I stayed at the Mariotti Hotel with my mother for two weeks in June and had a wonderful time. We stayed at this hotel for a week full board. A delightful discovery, excellent food, very kind and competent dining room and reception staff, convenient parking and easy access to the beach. We'll definitely be back!!

I stayed at the hotel for a week with my wife. The location is perfect for the beach (it has a special agreement with a nearby beach club), and the staff were all truly kind and helpful. Spent 10 days in August: well-located hotel, very close to the beach and with parking in the immediate vicinity. Our room was quite large with a spacious balcony, always very clean. Very nice hotel. In a central position and very convenient for reaching other nearby destinations. The property has a large car park. Very good food and dining room staff: Zaccaria, Massimo and Dino really kind, friendly and professional. The owner and receptionist were also very friendly and attentive to the guests' needs. We recommend it.

Close to beach shops and restaurants, some road noise but counteracted by the lovely view of the sea.

Nice little hotell driven by a friendly hard working Italien family.... I enjoy the well cleaned room even if our family bring a lot of sand to the room it was nice clean day. The room Ac was perfect even if it was 34 degress outside... the bathroom wasnt big but in good standard and fresh..Its easy to walk 14min Leonardi davinci street from the train station, and close to the bath houses ca 70m....

Lovely tidy Hotel Stayed here for a week. Rooms get cleaned Daily unless wished otherwise. The atmosphere during our stay was very pleasant. The owner made us great coffee every day in the morning and plates with ham and cheese and warm cornetti (like a croissant) She gave us tips throughout our entire vacation and was very caring. Next time we are in Viareggio, we will definitely visit again.

I booked this hotel based on its excellent reviews, but I have to disagree. The hotel lacks ventilation, the rooms are dated with jumbled furniture, and there's a lot of dust, even in the air conditioning. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is quite good. The selection of products isn't very imaginative, meaning there's nothing you won't find in any hotel in any city, anywhere in the world...

Very good location, lots of restaurants around, good indoor parking for extra pay. But there was some negatives to. Wi-Fi didn’t work, there is no shelves in the shower, the lock-keys to the room 100 years old.

Underrated hotel Great hotel, deserves 3 stars!

I was given a room in an Annex, buit this turned out to be an advantage, as the room was more or less a suite. Cleaning was excellent and the staff very welcomiung and friendly. The Manager /Owner is hands-on and does a daily shift front of house. I sensed that he had established and encouraged a corporate style that was very much customer-friendly. The rooms were nice, bit on the smaller side but manageable. The staff at the reception was super friendly (not the breakfast staff though they were okay). The location is pretty good. The parking is really convenient and most of the guests were friendly too. Definitely satisfied with my experience. If you plan to go to the pool bring a swimming cap, because it's mandatory.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this family run hotel. Our room (109) on first floor overlooked the swimming pool/sea view. Nice clean spacious room with lovely balcony. Great staff, good size rooms. That a visit to the beach/a place to sit at the beach wasn’t included for the price we payed (3000 euro for less than 10 days) is absurd. The hotel is promoted as a beach hotel, but to visit the beach you have to pay 25-40 euros per day (the higher price is for if you want to be able to lock in your valuables). We stayed in this hotel since it is close to Pisa and Florence. It is located in a beautiful and quiet location which is pleasant. However you will need a car otherwise you will struggle.
