Both rooms we booked were gorgeous and the beds super comfy!! Fresh towels daily and the toiletries replenished when we needed! The spa was perfect as we had a few cloudy days so headed to relax in the sauna / salt room! The pool area was our favourite part, amazing views, heated pool and the friendliest staff!! We can’t wait to return to the hotel already, it was a place to remember!

There is a relaxed, yet sophisticated, vibe. I highly recommend having the mixed seafood & the potato donut with truffles @ their Deco Restaurant. The rooftop terrace is wonderful & a perfect spot to watch the sunset

We spent two weeks at the Palace Hotel which overall I would recommend to anyone. The hotel location was perfect, just across the road from the beach, and beach club which as a hotel guest allows you access

The evening meal was nice, but consisted of a limited choice of five items for each of the three courses. This menu changed every three days, so by the third day you may not find anything you like

All of the staff, including those at the beach club, were so kind and attentive and so friendly with our baby. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location by the sea is stunning and very convenient

We had a lovely stay at Palace Hotel a few weeks ago and the staff was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and thoughtful. the hotel is gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options

The front desk manager is the person you wish to be dealing with at every hotel. The room with a seaview is stunning, enjoy golden sunsets, a spacious clean and practical place to relax

They have other facilities that time did not warrant my use this time but look amazing including beach access, a gym, and pool. Will need to see if I can bring the family another time to enjoy all the amenities

All was fabulous but I feel that the hotel should pay for the guest to use umbrellas and chairs at the beach. Everything is separate

15 minutes wonderful promenade to the town centre. Beach is directly opposite as are bars and shops

In any case, everyone at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for its convenience to the train station, the promenade close to the beach with restaurants and boutiques

Lots of options for rooms with a sea view, some with a balcony. Helpful staff (we saw a lot of Alfredo on the main desk & he was brilliant!), everything was clean & the food fantastic

An excellent hotel with good sized rooms and a great location for the beaches of Viareggio. It's also got a lovely outdoor pool for those days where you don't want to pay to go to the beach.

Nice location ! this vintage hotel does have style. The decoration does remind you the good old bygone days. The room is on the small side but if you happen to have a Seaview room, the view is quite impressive

Historical hotel in the grande early twentieth century style. Maintains the tradition of excellent staff and grandiose surroundings. Perfectly positioned right on the sea front just steps away from restaurants and shops

Very close to beach! Actually, most of the beach is not free in Viareggio but the Hotel Marchionni is just opposite the public beach and you can walk and enjoy the sun and swim by the sandy beach

It was a really nice hotel with art nouveau style interior design and the unique elevator that I have never seen before. Service and all the hotel workers are very polite and helpful

The only minus if I may say so was the Covid reality and the reduced breakfast service. I really love the morning ritual of the breakfast where I go to the self service buffet and prepare my own breakfast

This is the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip to Europe. It cost almost 1,200 RMB. This is because the day we checked in was the Carnival and the local area was very lively.

Perfectly located on the main promenade, just accross the street you have the strand. Parking places are many on the streets and 8 euro a day charge is less that a pizza

The carpet in our room was sandy so more vacuum cleaning could not do any harm ;-) What else, what the good luck of having a room facing the main promenade so we could see the carnival parade enjoy cheese, olives, salami and wein out of the window

Superb breakfast full of suggestions and the restaurant lives up to expectations. The sea is just a stone's throw from the hotel, just cross the road and there are excellent services and homeliness

The hotel was right next to the beach where there are numerous restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were always very helpful and polite

Just behind the hotel are bus stops with frequent (and cheap) buses running the Viareggio to the east and Pietransanta to the west. We had a lovely family holiday there for the week and would highly recommend

in short, if like me you want to take a holiday in Versilia it is an excellent solution at a not exorbitant price. despite the fact that the hotel, especially in the first few days, was almost full, it was not crowded

There are no amenities like rooftops, bars, pools etc which TBF they don't claim to have but even the partnership with a beach they have, you can only get the furthest from the sea row for €30

Numerous restaurants, stunning beach and pool club that the hotel can arrange for you a day at a time. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for an Italian Riviera beach vacation

I wish they'd dump the downstairs seating area, and put in a martini bar, three cold draft beers and a wine offering. I would! Anyway, loved it, one of the best in Italy, Seriously- that good!

There is no bar in the hotel which is a shame but plenty of bars outside the hotel. Reception sorted out a booking for a beach club for us and when we returned at about 3

The location is perfect and could not be improved. You can walk to the train station for a day-trip to Pisa (as we did) or anywhere else

Hotel in an excellent position, the strong point is the beach reserved also for hotel guests with chair and deckchair included in the price (free sunbed on the first day and, if necessary, you can pay for the sunbed also for the following days)

Another plus is the possibility to eat in the restaurant on the beach, where the food is really great! You can also eat well in the hotel, but a positive note certainly concerns the dessert trolley: superb !! One of the few hotels where the desserts are all strictly homemade, and this is definitely noticeable !! Also noteworthy is the free parking of the hotel

The hotel is easy to reach the center of Lucca in about twenty minutes (excluding traffic); it is very cute, well-kept and clean as are the rooms, and the staff is friendly and attentive

We spent a week there. Good food, excellent location facing the sea, but for the free beach it is a bit far on foot. Luckily there are bikes, a little rickety, without lights but working (check them before leaving)

Casual beachfront hotel practically on the beautiful seafront promenade. Friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness ok, good food. The hotel is not air conditioned, but there are ceiling fans

Spent a week in this property located a few meters from the beach where we had a really good time, excellent food and plentiful rooms not very large but there is everything from the 55 inch TV to the comfortable fridge and the safe and ceiling fan in some ways better what air conditioning

One week stay in July 2022, by my 6 year old daughter and my parents. Hotel in an excellent position, 100 meters from the sea, in what is one of the iconic walks typical of Versilia

Our room was large enough but with rather bulky retro furniture; on the other hand, despite being on the inside, it had a nice terrace overlooking the sea. Paid parking kindly offered by the owner

Beach service for a fee, agreed with the hotel. There are bicycles available for free. In conclusion, a good value for money

If you arrive by train: it’s a bit far to walk and the ambiance arround the train station is not very nice, but during the daylight it’s okay

My partner and I have just spent a week at this beautiful hotel on a half board basis, the hotel is located just 5 minutes walk from the promenade and the beach in a very quiet and nice area
