Absolutely superb stay. Excellent staff fantastic breakfast. Great location and view. Would highly recommend
Nice location ! this vintage hotel does have style. The decoration does remind you the good old bygone days. The room is on the small side but if you happen to have a Seaview room, the view is quite impressive
The pool area could do with an update, but perhaps this is next as our room was freshly decorated with a lovely new bathroom. Excellent breakfast and perhaps the best ever scrambled eggs from a buffet
Kindness, care and great attention towards its customers on the part of the hotel and the bathing establishment affiliated with the hotel, enough to make even just one day of holiday special and enjoyable!
Staff ok, although following my request for extra pillows&douvet - there were none in the wardrobe like in ALL the hotels I have ever stayed! - a member of staff entered my room while the "do not disturb" sign was on and just THREW the items on my unmade bed, in a very uncerimonious way, it seemed to me, and I found them on my return from my breakfast
The correct way I would have expected from such a 4☆ hotel, would have been to place them tidely on the table, perhaps, or the chair or the wardrobe!? Not just chucked on the unmade bed! Seemed to me a rather SHODDY way of doing things!
Breakfast: totally marvellous!
Bar, not used
The front desk manager is the person you wish to be dealing with at every hotel. The room with a seaview is stunning, enjoy golden sunsets, a spacious clean and practical place to relax
We had a very nice and spacious apartment with a huge terrace and very nice view, beach across the hotel.
Have to pay a reduce rate to use the beach, it is not free,
Breakfast can be better
Loved everything about this property, location, so many places to eat and be entertained, loved loved the Monday market that covered almost all of the promenade, fabulous experience and staff were top notch!!
A charming modern and high quality hotel with a pool, gym, sauna and hot tub. Great breakfasts with a good buffet, extra items on a menu and highly professional and attentive staff
We got a sea facing room which had stunning views. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean including the indoor pool and SPA. Location was great for restaurants with a variety of dinner options
Great for digital nomads with a good sized bright and airy bar/lounge. Parking is easy (November) via a ticket the hotel submits for you at 10 euros a day there is a garage available at 30 euros a day
This hotel is fantastic if you're going to Viareggio. Awesome beach and pool across the street, all the waterside shops and restaurants steps away. Very helpful staff, solid breakfast buffet
Numerous restaurants, stunning beach and pool club that the hotel can arrange for you a day at a time. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for an Italian Riviera beach vacation
The location is perfect and could not be improved. You can walk to the train station for a day-trip to Pisa (as we did) or anywhere else
There are no amenities like rooftops, bars, pools etc which TBF they don't claim to have but even the partnership with a beach they have, you can only get the furthest from the sea row for €30
There is no bar in the hotel which is a shame but plenty of bars outside the hotel. Reception sorted out a booking for a beach club for us and when we returned at about 3
We had the super-suite at the top of the hotel, a trio of fabulous rooms, bedroom, dining, sitting. Outside is a huge terrace, not overlooked and a jacuzzi. Seriously, this is my kind of place
We spent two weeks at the Palace Hotel which overall I would recommend to anyone. The hotel location was perfect, just across the road from the beach, and beach club which as a hotel guest allows you access
We had a lovely stay at Palace Hotel a few weeks ago and the staff was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and thoughtful. the hotel is gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options
The staff were amazing, very friendly and couldn't enough for you. We were half board, which if we went back we wouldn't have again. I would definitely recommend Bed and breakfast, which was excellent
The evening meal was nice, but consisted of a limited choice of five items for each of the three courses. This menu changed every three days, so by the third day you may not find anything you like
My main criticism is the bar and lounge area on the ground floor. It is a lovely area, but is hardly used. The bar is not open until November when the roof terrace closes for drinks
The deckchairs and parasol are free, but you pay 10 euros for each sun lounger per day. Our room was nice, at the side of the hotel with a small balcony which you could sit out on
The beach is just 2 blocks, it's really a wide boardwalk with lots of shops, cafes, fine dinning, etc. The beaches (Lidos) are private where you get a umbrella and beach chair (w/ sun shield for your head) for a fee
Great place! Close to the beach. Very a nice place. Family hotel with nice bar, food and garden. People at the reception is very helpful. We hope to stay in this hotel again in the future.
The hotel is charming and very cute with a lot of garden and outdoor space where you can relaxe and enjoy a glass
The location of Hotel is great, very close to the beach. Owners-family is very friendly and helpful. Decent place for a price-value :) Breakfast offered, but is not a must
The hotel has a very good location, close to the beach. It’s a family-run guesthouse with very kind owners. The town has a beautiful promenade connected to other towns.
We were able to find street parking within a block of the hotel. Close to the beach, but not on it so it's quiet and not crazy busy on the beach
We’re just a bit disappointed about the beach because when the afternoon arrives, the water has many sea moss and there were some dead jellyfish also. But our experience with this hotel was very great!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
We loved this place! It is directly across the street from the beach and shops. We stayed in #202, huge room, nice staff, great breakfast. I don't get what the negative reviews are about
right on the beach, great shopping and reataurants. big room and good choice for breakfast
Not as bad as I expected. The room and bathroom were basic but clean. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was worth the cost. Location is good and very close to the beach and restaurants.
Average hotel with poor breakfast. Tv in room is small.
Good location close to beach.
The rooms are clean, the place is very near(front) of the beach.
The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Tuscany. The staff are wonderful and Nicole made our family feel special. The pool was perfect for the children
Great location, very close to the beach. Large pool, spa and a restaurant on site. Friendly and professional staff. Comfortable beds and beautiful room. Lovely restaurants close by, but limited public transport
Lovely modern, clean hotel in a great location. Seaview rooms have a fantastic view. Swimming pool and spa great too. Large variety of food for buffet breakfast including continental and cooked
Beds are super comfy and the roll down shutters are the bomb for noise and heat reduction. Excellent service all around. We had dinner at the hotel one night and it excellent!
There is an old world charm that makes this hotel special
Location was fantastic, hotel was very clean and staff all very friendly. Loved the adults terrace sitting watching the world go by. Will definitely return and would highly recommend
Traditional resort hotel, the Bella Riviera is very central in Viareggio, on the main beach road
excellent quality-price ratio
excellent quality-price ratio. we lived couple in a small room 414 on the fourth floor with a great view of the sea. the room is small but everything is comfortable, clean
As a solo traveller I usually have to tolerate a windowless room behind stairs, so I was delighted to be given a lovely room at the front with a balcony and a sea view
We stayed at the hotel for 7 days. It was ferfectly located close to the beach, great restaurants and the train station
The daily cleaning kept the room and en-suite spotless, the breakfast was a varied buffet and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the noisy air con
compact but clean rooms, comfortable bathroom. the bed is big, the mattress is hard but comfortable. breakfast is included in the price, modest but OK
The room was clean, comfortable, warm, and it had a nice little balcony. The roof top terrace was really nice at sunset, and they had an excellent breakfast buffet. There is a free beach a block away
Lovely veiw of the sea from the balcony and rooftop solarium. Good location for restaurants and access to beach
truly wonderful experience 🌟
The reception was warm and professional, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the sea view was simply breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel."
Best Hotel in Viareggio! We loved it. Especially because I was able to have a look first into one of their rooms before we booked. We had a room with a view to the beach + boardwalk
Beautiful beachfront hotel with easy walking distance from the train station.
Nice property near the sea ... staff were all helpful and warm except the guy in the front desk who was UNhelpful.
Great location. My granddaughter enjoyed time on the beach. Everything we needed was within walking distance.
Very close to beach! Actually, most of the beach is not free in Viareggio but the Hotel Marchionni is just opposite the public beach and you can walk and enjoy the sun and swim by the sandy beach
Great experience for a reasonable price
Good experience overall. Great service, we were able to store our suitcases in the lobby before check-in and after check-out while we went to the beach
It was a really nice hotel with art nouveau style interior design and the unique elevator that I have never seen before. Service and all the hotel workers are very polite and helpful
Very good best location and position . Nice service . Particular place good resturant inside. I loved the old elevator this is a peace of history of viareggio thank you
Very good Location - Friendly staff
Nice hotel - good Location. Nothing for 2 weeks - but for a long weekend absolutely suficiente
Only stayed for a night but good 3*star hotel. Would happily stay there again.
10 mins walk from the railway station and close to the restaurants and beach.
Would recommend if wanting easy access to the beach as it’s midway between all the bagnos and restaurants etc on the promenade and elsewhere
Plus points, amazing friendly helpful staff. Easy 15 minutes walk to train station and even better 5 minutes to the gorgeous beach. Slightly noisy at night outside ( not hotels fault)
A nice little hotel very close to both the beach and the small city center. The hotel needs care (read -> just older), and in my taste just a bit too much (price) for what you get
Conveniently located hotel with friendly staff, ideal for young families. It has a 24 hour reception which is useful and our room was well cleaned daily
Excellent quality for a fair price. Restaurant: quality food with fish and surprises
Our experience at this hotel was truly amazing, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Teresa. The cleanliness and proximity to the beach added to our overall satisfaction
Teresa and her family were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, Teresa recommended good restaurants for our dinner and sent as to a lovely beach called Timovo
Myself and four friends spent a week in this lovely little hotel on a bed & breakfast basis near the beach in Lido di Camiore
Very nice staff, small but cosy rooms. Bathroom needs renovation. Amazing view from panoramic seaview room.
The location was excellent, very central , there was a tourist information centre across the road and a bus stop, there were lots of lovely bars and restaurants in the vicinity
Our bathroom was well equipped with a forceful shower and a good selection of towels. Our continental breakfast was delicious & abundant
I would recommend adding more fresh fruit to both breakfast and lunch, as this is a season with so much variety. We didn't use it, but I would consider adding more attention to the existing gym/sauna/bikes
July 2025
We stayed 15 days at this hotel, located in a quiet area just 5 minutes from the beach. Friendly staff, clean room, excellent and varied food. We had a wonderful holiday in a
family atmosphere
Nice hotel with a strategic position a few meters from the sea and friendly and helpful staff starting from the owner, always present and attentive to the needs of his customers
Great hotel nearby the sea and restaurants
Hotel in a quiet area, a 5-minute walk from the beach. Dated furnishings, bathroom with a shower over the tub without curtains or a cubicle. The bed was uncomfortable and very hard
A week-long stay, conveniently located by the sea, quiet area with free parking available during this period. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and good, varied food
Lido Di Camaiore, Via Adolfo Massei, 4, 51044 Kamayore, Toskana, Italiya 🧭 Map
🌞 From seashore 4 min
This hotel has very good location, because it is near the beach and sea. It is only a few steps. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. You can park your car near the hotel on the big free parking place.
The bed was very comfortable that we had a really good night sleep. The service was promptly and helpful. The beach is just across the street from the hotel
Great and convenient spot right by the seafront.
The private parking in the hotel cost €10 per day, or you can park at the roadside in the white color box, which could be a little walking from the hotel
Thank you for looking after us , England u19s roller hockey team, very helpful , nothing was too trouble. Will be back
Good hotel I will recommend. Clean very nice and good service as well
The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. Our room was large with two big closets and a nice bathroom. We had two balcony's with partial sea view. I highly recommend this hotel
Shower was difficult trying to keep water from going all over, but we managed
The cost to get a spot on one of the 2 private beach clubs that hotel deals with was a little pricey
Lovely placement, a bit uninterested service
Hotel had wonderful rooms with balcony (superior dubbelroom) and sea view. Placement very good near seapromenade and shopping
Superb breakfast full of suggestions and the restaurant lives up to expectations. The sea is just a stone's throw from the hotel, just cross the road and there are excellent services and homeliness
Very lovely hotel- front desk staff were wonderful. The beaches are gorgeous and recommend using the ones affiliated with the hotel for better rates on beach chairs
We had a fabulous day at hotel president
The location is convenient to all the beach, restaurants and beach clubs
Rooms are clean and spacious
Very convenient location, close to the beach, restaurants and stores. The room was very small with a huge closet though. The bathroom was very tight but it served its purpose
The hotel is situated just across from the beach front which is a perfect location
My friend max. He made the trip so welcome. We will be back again, just to see max. He gave great recommendations and was so friendly!
First line to the beach, great sea view and main street view. Room quite small, 18 sqm. Very clean, very nice staff
Great spot if you’re in Viareggio for the Carnavle season. The hotel is a cool old building. Might have been a Palazzo at one time. The room was clean and had nice setup
Located in Viareggio and only a few meters from the Tyrrhenian Sea, Hotel La Pace offers classic rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Guests can also enjoy a buffet breakfast daily
We spent one night on the west coast during our trip around Italy in late October -it was so quiet and peaceful! Didn't have anything booked, Lungomare was the first place we found on a map as we were searching for a place to stay for the night - we couldn't have asked for a better one
The hotel was really nice, great location and reasonable price. I really liked the breakfast, there were many options available. The room was clean and comfortable
No frills, but very clean, tidy and fantastic location. Nice breakfast all very fresh. We would come again
The only thing I didn't like was the fridge, which was a bit noisy and woke me up a couple times at night
In addition we have been recommended a typical local wine that is a wonder. Recommended even if you are not a customer of the Hotel, even from outside it is open to the public
Great location and affordable prices, great selection for breakfasts and clean rooms
hotel not very close to the station but can be reached in 10 minutes, I think there is also a car park but I didn't use it, small room and bathroom too but clean, bed a little small, very friendly and helpful staff, quiet area 15 minutes from the seafront
Very simple hotel. A little noisy. Bed small enough for two people.
Nice staff.
Not very well located but not far from the beach all the same 15-20'
Pleasant for one night.
Rather high room prices but at least we managed to book in high season. In conclusion we found ourselves well 👍
The hotel was lovely, the room clean and cool and reception friendly. We had to pay extra for parking in the hotels garage when we got there which wasn’t clear when we booked
Excellent stay in a great place
Excellent quality price ratio, surprisingly good for a 2 star hotel, should have 3 stars. Great terrace with the room, very friendly staff
The toilet reeked of piss real bad and I literally cleaned it with alcohol wipes myself as it just made me feel so sick (there were stains on the seat)
Very freindly very wecoming hotel ,all the staff are so friendly and will help u in anyway they can ,there outside areas and inside areas which make it a gem of a place too eat and breakfast we always looked forward too, thankyou too marco and isabella for starting our day so vibrantly ,the roo
s are well catered for and we had a great service always immaculaten on our daliy return from sightseeing ,thearea which the hotel is located from resturants shops and promanade is just perfect and views from the hotel are outstanding ,if you arriving from trainstation its a good walk anything from 20,too 30 minutes there are taxis so no issues at all ,we would certainly reccommend a holiday here as...
The rooftop terrace is a nice plus too! As they serve the breakfast inside now in october, there was plenty of space on the rooftop to do morning yoga there with a stunning view
One of my best 3 Star in Italy. The staff so really nice and I was able to even store my bicycle save on the balcony ☺️
Room has been very nice with balcony and sea view
Very nice hotel!
I liked it a lot! As a solo female traveller I felt very safe as there was always someone at the reception and as it’s directly at the main walk
The hotel were very accommodating as we had an early checkout and did us a little breakfast to take with us. Ideal location for the beach and train station too
We are super happy with our stay at hotel Vittoria. it is very nicely cleaned, good location, and fantastic good breakfast with barista coffe! the staff is so nice and helpful
A lovely welcome to the hotel, room was on the 3rd floor and was spotless. Comfortable with all the amenities you needed including fridge
There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and the beach is only 5 mins walk away. Woukd not hesitate to recommend
Loved staying in this hotel. The location was perfect! Great hospitality and breakfasts. 😃 Would definitely stay there again.
Located 5 mins walk from the beach or if you prefer right beside a fabulous park where you can hire bikes. There is excellent range of restaurants if you prefer to eat out although eating in the hotel is fine
