Where traditional elegance brings modern luxury at this most wonderful hotel. The location is gorgeous on the fabulous Viareggio beach with a magnificent roof top pool overlooking the beautiful beach and marble moutains
The staff were exceptional attentive and made our stay even more special. The rooms are spacious with fabulous service. The breakfast is a highlight not only with wonderful service but exceptional food and variety
Also, the breakfast buffet is one of the nicest I have ever seen in any country. We stayed here for 4 nights and I will miss it dearly when going back to the states! Such a beautiful hotel in a beach town
During dinner, there was a live music concert, mainly jazz, my favorite genre, so I was more than happy to listen to my favorite melodies, surrounded by people joyfully dancing and smiling
Every detail is designed to offer an outstanding experience from the seafront location and warm welcome to the art-filled spaces, spacious rooms, exceptional mattress, and truly out of this world breakfast!
They have a valet service and also recharge your electric vehicle. We had a deluxe room, which was spacious and high (about 4 meters). Lot of space for your luggage
Absolutely superb stay. Excellent staff fantastic breakfast. Great location and view. Would highly recommend
Staff ok, although following my request for extra pillows&douvet - there were none in the wardrobe like in ALL the hotels I have ever stayed! - a member of staff entered my room while the "do not disturb" sign was on and just THREW the items on my unmade bed, in a very uncerimonious way, it seemed to me, and I found them on my return from my breakfast
The correct way I would have expected from such a 4☆ hotel, would have been to place them tidely on the table, perhaps, or the chair or the wardrobe!? Not just chucked on the unmade bed! Seemed to me a rather SHODDY way of doing things!
Breakfast: totally marvellous!
Bar, not used
Nice location ! this vintage hotel does have style. The decoration does remind you the good old bygone days. The room is on the small side but if you happen to have a Seaview room, the view is quite impressive
The pool area could do with an update, but perhaps this is next as our room was freshly decorated with a lovely new bathroom. Excellent breakfast and perhaps the best ever scrambled eggs from a buffet
Dinner was fine, but not nearly as good as breakfast. Lovely pre dinner drinks in the cocktail bar with a nice selection of canapés. If you enjoy old world style, you will enjoy staying here

com didn't transmit our booking – the hotel was fully booked! Countless phone calls later, a solution was immediately sought and found – perfect!
The food in the restaurant was excellent – expensive – but absolutely worth the quality! We'll definitely be back
I have stayed at a lot of beautiful hotels over the years, and the staff has been great. However, almost all the staff I encountered had gone above and beyond to help make our stay incredible
They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I’d like to particularly reach out to Serena in the Spa for organising hair appointments for us on a Sunday for a special Event. She even dropped us off and picked us up
The hotel is beautiful – modern but not impersonal – the staff is very friendly and tries to make things right when something goes wrong
If you are in the area, this is a good choice. The breakfast is good and the place is bright. There are only a few rooms, but this is common in Europe. It is close to the beach and several good restaurants.
Be careful with rooms located opposite the elevators. There's a service entrance nearby, so it can be quite noisy.

Everything was perfect but If I could give one piece of constructive feedback it would be, if they ever decide to redecorate the rooms in the future, to make better use of the high ceilings to install taller wardrobes to optimize storage, as some of the rooms are quite small and it can feel quite crammed with two large suitcases
The staff were amazing, very friendly and couldn't enough for you. We were half board, which if we went back we wouldn't have again. I would definitely recommend Bed and breakfast, which was excellent
We had a lovely stay at Palace Hotel a few weeks ago and the staff was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and thoughtful. the hotel is gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options
Staff was friendly and professional. Property clean and as advertised. Would recommend to family and friends.
Julian at check in was amazing, he personally showed us around the hotel and escorted us to our room.
The evening meal was nice, but consisted of a limited choice of five items for each of the three courses. This menu changed every three days, so by the third day you may not find anything you like
My main criticism is the bar and lounge area on the ground floor. It is a lovely area, but is hardly used. The bar is not open until November when the roof terrace closes for drinks
The rooms have such thoughtful and charming touches like mini fridge and kettle, coffee and tea services and spacious closet space. Parking is abundant on the surrounding streets that they will validate which is amazing
Loved everything about this property, location, so many places to eat and be entertained, loved loved the Monday market that covered almost all of the promenade, fabulous experience and staff were top notch!!
15 minutes wonderful promenade to the town centre. Beach is directly opposite as are bars and shops
We had a very nice and spacious apartment with a huge terrace and very nice view, beach across the hotel.
Have to pay a reduce rate to use the beach, it is not free,
Breakfast can be better
The front desk manager is the person you wish to be dealing with at every hotel. The room with a seaview is stunning, enjoy golden sunsets, a spacious clean and practical place to relax
Would recommend trying to get an ocean view room for best place to watch the parade, though being down in the mix is ideal- the viewing from the hotel was a good option given it rained in the beginning
The hotel is central, not 5 mins from the beach. The staff have been exceptional in their attention and service. The reception staff, courteous and helpful, especially Ylenia
This hotel is fantastic if you're going to Viareggio. Awesome beach and pool across the street, all the waterside shops and restaurants steps away. Very helpful staff, solid breakfast buffet
Numerous restaurants, stunning beach and pool club that the hotel can arrange for you a day at a time. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for an Italian Riviera beach vacation
The location is perfect and could not be improved. You can walk to the train station for a day-trip to Pisa (as we did) or anywhere else
Wonderful trip and can’t wait to return.
30 we noticed that there was a room service tray outside the room opposite ours, it was still there when we went out for dinner in the evening and yes you guessed it was still there later that night when we returned

The Manager /Owner is hands-on and does a daily shift front of house. I sensed that he had established and encouraged a corporate style that was very much customer-friendly. Breakfast, restaurant service also very good
I was given a room in an Annex, buit this turned out to be an advantage, as the room was more or less a suite. Cleaning was excellent and the staff very welcomiung and friendly
All the hotel staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Drinks or tea and coffee can be ordered by the pool at any time. Breakfast is a lovely collection of cold dishes, as you would expect
I've seen one or two negative comments about this hotel and simply wanted to share my own experience, which was 100% positive. We had a lovely large, airy room at the front of the hotel
The beach here is owned by the restaurants and you will, quite rightly, need to pay to use their seating and facilities. The hotel has a pool with lifeguard on duty all day
There is a quiet road and single story restaurant buildings between the hotel and the sea, so, although there is a sea view it is not an uninterrupted one
We’re just a bit disappointed about the beach because when the afternoon arrives, the water has many sea moss and there were some dead jellyfish also. But our experience with this hotel was very great!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
We loved this place! It is directly across the street from the beach and shops. We stayed in #202, huge room, nice staff, great breakfast. I don't get what the negative reviews are about
The aircondition is functioning very well, just make sure to close the blinds (taparella) and the curtain so the room will get cold faster
Very nice stay at this hotel! Good located and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend!!
Would definitely suggest staying in Viareggio and doing the 30 minutes drive to see the sights in Pisa
right on the beach, great shopping and reataurants. big room and good choice for breakfast
Great hotel, nice staff. At the check-out forgot the tablet under the pillow, and backpack in the closet. The next day everything was taken away in one piece. The Breakfast is average.
This hotel is excellent for the price of room. Beds were the most comfortable i have slept in at a hotel. Breakfast choice was excellent.
Stayed for 4 nights and hotel and staff were wonderful. Hotel was so clean and comfortable, staff were so helpful and friendly and location perfect. Fabulous choice at breakfast, cannot wait to come back
The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring Tuscany. The staff are wonderful and Nicole made our family feel special. The pool was perfect for the children
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here in the first week of September. We loved the hotel…and every single member of staff
There is an old world charm that makes this hotel special

Fantastic little hotel!
The hotel is lovely( possibly family run?)Very nice and clean with a good breakfast the location was fantastic- so close to the sea front and the beach which was Maurizio ! The rooms were spacious and clean and ours had a balcony with a sea view!
Stayed for a week at Hotel Katy Very central to the main promenade and the park
Fabulous in every way Great helpful kind staff Fabulous breakfast Comfortable beds and pillows Excellent Wi-Fi signal Lovely bathroom and amenities Exceptionally clean throughout Can’t wait to return! Thank you Giorgia and team… for making our stay very special and making our request to prolong our stay possible … X
Staff so nice and friendly Rooms cleaned daily Highly recommend this hotel Had a balcony but rarely used as there was so much to do and see Breakfast was very refreshing and waitress knew our order after first visit
We slept great all three nights. AC was great, but needs better instructions on how to operate the AC thermostat! Perfect location, just one block off the beach, restaurants and shopping area
Our room was very well appointed, immaculately clean with good A/C which was necessary in 30+ degree temperatures. We had a balcony room which was good to sit out on in the evening. There was also a little fridge

The location was excellent, very central , there was a tourist information centre across the road and a bus stop, there were lots of lovely bars and restaurants in the vicinity
Our experience at this hotel was truly amazing, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Teresa. The cleanliness and proximity to the beach added to our overall satisfaction
Teresa and her family were so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, Teresa recommended good restaurants for our dinner and sent as to a lovely beach called Timovo
Our bathroom was well equipped with a forceful shower and a good selection of towels. Our continental breakfast was delicious & abundant
Myself and four friends spent a week in this lovely little hotel on a bed & breakfast basis near the beach in Lido di Camiore
Very nice staff, small but cosy rooms. Bathroom needs renovation. Amazing view from panoramic seaview room.

This hotel has very good location, because it is near the beach and sea. It is only a few steps. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. You can park your car near the hotel on the big free parking place.
The bed was very comfortable that we had a really good night sleep. The service was promptly and helpful. The beach is just across the street from the hotel
The private parking in the hotel cost €10 per day, or you can park at the roadside in the white color box, which could be a little walking from the hotel
Thank you for looking after us , England u19s roller hockey team, very helpful , nothing was too trouble. Will be back
Good hotel I will recommend. Clean very nice and good service as well
Service at the hotell breakfast very unattended though, also reception felt a bit uninterested. This was our second time at this hotel and breakfast service as bad both times. Lovely aroundings made it good anyway
Excellent Hotel in a great central location. We had a lovely, bright and spacious room. Fabulous breakfast and really nice bar area.
We had a really nice stay and wished we’d booked for a day or two longer. Breakfast buffet and a la carte options were super. Could only wish for perhaps more prompt service on the coffee front
The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. Our room was large with two big closets and a nice bathroom. We had two balcony's with partial sea view. I highly recommend this hotel
Very lovely hotel- front desk staff were wonderful. The beaches are gorgeous and recommend using the ones affiliated with the hotel for better rates on beach chairs
We had a fabulous day at hotel president
The location is convenient to all the beach, restaurants and beach clubs
Rooms are clean and spacious
Very convenient location, close to the beach, restaurants and stores. The room was very small with a huge closet though. The bathroom was very tight but it served its purpose
Located in Viareggio and only a few meters from the Tyrrhenian Sea, Hotel La Pace offers classic rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Guests can also enjoy a buffet breakfast daily
My friend max. He made the trip so welcome. We will be back again, just to see max. He gave great recommendations and was so friendly!
The minibar was not working, not cold. Good breakfast and beautiful Osean wiew. Recomended Hotel.
First line to the beach, great sea view and main street view. Room quite small, 18 sqm. Very clean, very nice staff
The breakfast was large and plenty things to choose from
Our stay here was rather mixed some good and some not so good, I researched the area and as we wanted to visit Cinqe Terre early mornings by train from nearby Viaraggio and then get back to relax by the rooftop pool in the afternoons, unfortunately the rooftop pool had no parasols to shade and being very hot we could not really stay there for long
The evening meal you had to select your next evening choice which was all in Italian which led to funny conversations with the staff all of whom don’t speak English (I think we were the only people staying from England) I speak Spanish so between us we managed and I have to say unlike breakfast the food was excellent
Not a great variaty, and the food is served by the waiters, which we found weird, it looks like they are controlling the amount of food you have. We spent a lot of money to stay in a sea view room at this 3 stars Hotel
The rooms do not have tea&coffee facilities and a couple of the mornings we were leaving at 7 am to get a early train and as breakfast did not open until 8am we asked reception if we could get a hot drink at 6
Breakfast itself was continental and was served to you in a small corner of the dining room and you couldn’t even pour your own fruit juice so in my opinion very poor
Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Bracciotti which we booked to celebrate my upcoming 70th birthday and to tour the 5 towns of Cinqe Terre
We were pre-warned that there was no lift to our second floor room but our heavy case was carried up the stairs without asking, which was really appreciated
Very nice hotel, welcoming rooms with all the necessities, very kind cleaning staff, every morning they carefully cleaned our room, the excellent breakfast had everything from sweet to savory, all types of drinks, the very kind owner asked you every day if everything was fine, we will definitely return
Traditional hotel managed by an italian family. Had a really good and warm stay with them. I’d definitely stay with them again once I go back to Viareggio
Everything about the hotel was exceptional; the welcome, the staff, the cleanliness and the locality for the seafront were great
Early morning train to switzerland was cancelled on the platform. Booked the room to stay the night and leave early next morning. The hotel manager allowed us to check in over 2 hours early and was incredibly friendly
His attention to food and to meeting all needs (including intolerances) is remarkable, I noticed that there are gluten-free foods. I recommend this hotel because we really enjoyed our stay

The area is well placed for traveling with great bus services close to the hotel and a good railway station at Viareggio to get to Florence and other areas. Both Luca and Pisa are also easy to visit by bus
Firstly, apologies for the late review of this hotel and our stay. The excellent reviews on Trip Advisor was one of the main factors in choosing this hotel over many other possibilities in the area
I would also recommend a short bus trip to Piestrasanta. The resort itself has plenty of cafes/restaurants and bars and beaches both private and free public ones all very well equipped and great sandy beaches
The hotel is very simple in its design and layout which works very well, but what makes the hotel stand out is the time and effort given by every member of the team
The food is top quality, with a different menu every night, no item was repeated on any course in the week we were there. The rooms are cleaned daily in a very efficient manner
We travelled on the local transport (buses and trains) to Pisa, Lucca and Forte Del Marme, this was all very straight forward thanks to the help from the hotel team, the facility to buy bus tickets from the front desk certainly helped with any travel plans
s are well catered for and we had a great service always immaculaten on our daliy return from sightseeing ,thearea which the hotel is located from resturants shops and promanade is just perfect and views from the hotel are outstanding ,if you arriving from trainstation its a good walk anything from 20,too 30 minutes there are taxis so no issues at all ,we would certainly reccommend a holiday here as...
Very freindly very wecoming hotel ,all the staff are so friendly and will help u in anyway they can ,there outside areas and inside areas which make it a gem of a place too eat and breakfast we always looked forward too, thankyou too marco and isabella for starting our day so vibrantly ,the roo
Last year we stayed at Hotel San Francisco in Viareggio, and it was a no- brainer to stay there again when we returned this year. Again, an outstanding experience from start to finish
The rooftop terrace is a nice plus too! As they serve the breakfast inside now in october, there was plenty of space on the rooftop to do morning yoga there with a stunning view
Very nice hotel!
I liked it a lot! As a solo female traveller I felt very safe as there was always someone at the reception and as it’s directly at the main walk
If you arrive by train: it’s a bit far to walk and the ambiance arround the train station is not very nice, but during the daylight it’s okay

Lovely hotel in a great location. Good sized room, compact bathroom, but good shower. Loved the outside seating areas. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, made us feel very comfortable
The hotel is very very clean, breakfast presents a great variety of both hot and cold food. Fantastic fruit available each morning. The bedrooms are perfect and there is no noise plus there is air conditioning
This is a lovely family run hotel with all the facilities you need. The breakfast is excellent with lovely fresh fruit and lots of other choices. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to help
Pola and all her staff are so helpful and she speaks English. This hotel suits families with small children, couples or people of mature age. We could not speak more highly of the whole experience
An immaculately clean hotel with very tasteful decor in an ideal location. Wonderful staff with a fantastic host Paola who prepares a superb breakfast and could not be more helpful
We are super happy with our stay at hotel Vittoria. it is very nicely cleaned, good location, and fantastic good breakfast with barista coffe! the staff is so nice and helpful
Traditional resort hotel, the Bella Riviera is very central in Viareggio, on the main beach road
excellent quality-price ratio
excellent quality-price ratio. we lived couple in a small room 414 on the fourth floor with a great view of the sea. the room is small but everything is comfortable, clean
The daily cleaning kept the room and en-suite spotless, the breakfast was a varied buffet and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the noisy air con
As a solo traveller I usually have to tolerate a windowless room behind stairs, so I was delighted to be given a lovely room at the front with a balcony and a sea view
paid parking on the street in front of the hotel. the breakfast is modest but OK
Location is fantastic
Rooms basic but who stays in their room when you're in Tuscany?!?
Family run, very friendly service!
