Hotel Canarco in Viareggio

Very nice and cozy small family hotel with perfect location- few steps from the sea and 10mins walk from the train station.
All family members who served us at the hotel were very lovely: granny made nice home-made-like Italian dinners , mum and son made perfect support at the reception and prepared us perfect evening drinks.
Thank you for having us and for our patience with our small (and sometimes noisy) kids and evening talks:)

I've been here for 2 years straight now ;). The owner was really kind and seemed like she loved her job. Me and my fam fam (family) and I came here (we are in 4). The price was great for 3-4 nights here. We had 1 bunk bed and 1 master bed. A tiny bathroom, which we didn't mind at all. In the bathroom was a shower, toilet (all hail the toilet), and a bidet. In the main room was, of course, the beds, a closet, a small table and a chair. The thing that made me pass the time freely was the free wifi and the air conditioning 😅 (just remember to close it when you're done). Tho I really liked the free breakfast (it's at 8-10 am). There was blood oranges juice, orange juice, those small bread that are crunchy, Nutella (small packets), butter, jam, croissants,normal bread,cereal,coffee,etc.

Recently, I spent four blissful days in Viareggio. A friend had booked the Hotel Canarco for me and I could not have been happier there. This small, 10-room hotel is ideally placed for visiting Viareggio township and for the sea. Cristina, Luca and their two children, Giacomo and Martina who take care of their guests with great attention to detail could not have been more obliging or kinder to me whilst I was there. My ground-floor room was airy and cool and it was a pleasure to have breakfast in the garden at the back. There is also a small garden in front of the hotel where you can sit and often have the possibility to chat with others staying at the hotel. I recommend it.

Amazing hotel! Owner! Lady, her family - husband, mom & kids - all are very helpful & nice! Lady owner again is unique - makes u feel home, gives u positive tune! Rooms are simple, but there is everything u need & we had a great view from balcony. Breakfast is on terrace & only 4 euro & u can enjoy a lot of nice fresh small things - fruits, coffee, tea, buns, cheese, ham etc. Location is great - 3 mins away from beach - 2nd line. Price for room was just the best in town for that quality & hospitality. Thank u all a lot for making our stay so great! And wishing ur family business all the best!!!

Very central location and very close to everything. Great hospitality and warm familyfeeling in this place!

Lovely tidy Hotel

Stayed here for a week.
Rooms get cleaned Daily unless wished otherwise.
The atmosphere during our stay was very pleasant.
The owner made us great coffee every day in the morning and plates with ham and cheese and warm cornetti (like a croissant)
She gave us tips throughout our entire vacation and was very caring.
Next time we are in Viareggio, we will definitely visit again.
