We were so impressed, we canceled the French leg of our honeymoon to stay in Italy because we were so spoiled with the friendliness of the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte that we decided to stay at another Italian LHW property

We went to the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte to celebrate New Year’s Eve. At first, I was quite skeptical about this idea, but once we arrived, we were immediately welcomed in a very warm and friendly way

We know that it is a great job but not in all hotels, no matter how many stars and categories they have, the workers are so friendly and attentive. We want to thank all the staff for how they treat their clients

During dinner, there was a live music concert, mainly jazz, my favorite genre, so I was more than happy to listen to my favorite melodies, surrounded by people joyfully dancing and smiling

After enjoying a wonderful 90°C sauna (according to the Russian tradition before New Year’s Eve), I got ready for dinner, which turned out to be astonishing in every way

My husband & I were coming to Italy for the 1st time and our travel agent recommended the Hotel Principe di Piemonte-I had honestly had never heard of Viareggio-but what a wonderful surprise! The hotel was superb in every way

Nice location ! this vintage hotel does have style. The decoration does remind you the good old bygone days. The room is on the small side but if you happen to have a Seaview room, the view is quite impressive

The pool area could do with an update, but perhaps this is next as our room was freshly decorated with a lovely new bathroom. Excellent breakfast and perhaps the best ever scrambled eggs from a buffet

Kindness, care and great attention towards its customers on the part of the hotel and the bathing establishment affiliated with the hotel, enough to make even just one day of holiday special and enjoyable!

Staff ok, although following my request for extra pillows&douvet - there were none in the wardrobe like in ALL the hotels I have ever stayed! - a member of staff entered my room while the "do not disturb" sign was on and just THREW the items on my unmade bed, in a very uncerimonious way, it seemed to me, and I found them on my return from my breakfast

The correct way I would have expected from such a 4☆ hotel, would have been to place them tidely on the table, perhaps, or the chair or the wardrobe!? Not just chucked on the unmade bed! Seemed to me a rather SHODDY way of doing things! Breakfast: totally marvellous! Bar, not used

The front desk manager is the person you wish to be dealing with at every hotel. The room with a seaview is stunning, enjoy golden sunsets, a spacious clean and practical place to relax

We had a very nice and spacious apartment with a huge terrace and very nice view, beach across the hotel. Have to pay a reduce rate to use the beach, it is not free, Breakfast can be better

Loved everything about this property, location, so many places to eat and be entertained, loved loved the Monday market that covered almost all of the promenade, fabulous experience and staff were top notch!!

We got a sea facing room which had stunning views. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean including the indoor pool and SPA. Location was great for restaurants with a variety of dinner options

Great for digital nomads with a good sized bright and airy bar/lounge. Parking is easy (November) via a ticket the hotel submits for you at 10 euros a day there is a garage available at 30 euros a day

We spent two weeks at the Palace Hotel which overall I would recommend to anyone. The hotel location was perfect, just across the road from the beach, and beach club which as a hotel guest allows you access

We had a lovely stay at Palace Hotel a few weeks ago and the staff was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and thoughtful. the hotel is gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options

The staff were amazing, very friendly and couldn't enough for you. We were half board, which if we went back we wouldn't have again. I would definitely recommend Bed and breakfast, which was excellent

The evening meal was nice, but consisted of a limited choice of five items for each of the three courses. This menu changed every three days, so by the third day you may not find anything you like

My main criticism is the bar and lounge area on the ground floor. It is a lovely area, but is hardly used. The bar is not open until November when the roof terrace closes for drinks

The deckchairs and parasol are free, but you pay 10 euros for each sun lounger per day. Our room was nice, at the side of the hotel with a small balcony which you could sit out on

This hotel is fantastic if you're going to Viareggio. Awesome beach and pool across the street, all the waterside shops and restaurants steps away. Very helpful staff, solid breakfast buffet

Numerous restaurants, stunning beach and pool club that the hotel can arrange for you a day at a time. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for an Italian Riviera beach vacation

The location is perfect and could not be improved. You can walk to the train station for a day-trip to Pisa (as we did) or anywhere else

There are no amenities like rooftops, bars, pools etc which TBF they don't claim to have but even the partnership with a beach they have, you can only get the furthest from the sea row for €30

There is no bar in the hotel which is a shame but plenty of bars outside the hotel. Reception sorted out a booking for a beach club for us and when we returned at about 3

We had the super-suite at the top of the hotel, a trio of fabulous rooms, bedroom, dining, sitting. Outside is a huge terrace, not overlooked and a jacuzzi. Seriously, this is my kind of place

com didn't transmit our booking – the hotel was fully booked! Countless phone calls later, a solution was immediately sought and found – perfect! The food in the restaurant was excellent – ​​expensive – but absolutely worth the quality! We'll definitely be back

I have stayed at a lot of beautiful hotels over the years, and the staff has been great. However, almost all the staff I encountered had gone above and beyond to help make our stay incredible

They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I’d like to particularly reach out to Serena in the Spa for organising hair appointments for us on a Sunday for a special Event. She even dropped us off and picked us up

The hotel is beautiful – modern but not impersonal – the staff is very friendly and tries to make things right when something goes wrong

Now you get the very basics and have to call if you need some extra. feels like "let's cut the cost" sign :) But anyway, I loved the stay and will def be back some time

Be careful with rooms located opposite the elevators. There's a service entrance nearby, so it can be quite noisy.

The beach is just 2 blocks, it's really a wide boardwalk with lots of shops, cafes, fine dinning, etc. The beaches (Lidos) are private where you get a umbrella and beach chair (w/ sun shield for your head) for a fee

The hotel has a very good location, close to the beach. It’s a family-run guesthouse with very kind owners. The town has a beautiful promenade connected to other towns.

We were able to find street parking within a block of the hotel. Close to the beach, but not on it so it's quiet and not crazy busy on the beach

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this family run hotel. Our room (109) on first floor overlooked the swimming pool/sea view. Nice clean spacious room with lovely balcony

I was given a room in an Annex, buit this turned out to be an advantage, as the room was more or less a suite. Cleaning was excellent and the staff very welcomiung and friendly

It was cheaper buying a soda outside the Dome Palace in Venice than buying it in Lido de Camaiore. About the area; There is -nothing- to do apart from walking on the beach or swimming in the pool

The parking is really convenient and most of the guests were friendly too. Definitely satisfied with my experience. If you plan to go to the pool bring a swimming cap, because it's mandatory

The beach here is owned by the restaurants and you will, quite rightly, need to pay to use their seating and facilities. The hotel has a pool with lifeguard on duty all day

All the hotel staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Drinks or tea and coffee can be ordered by the pool at any time. Breakfast is a lovely collection of cold dishes, as you would expect

The windows have large shuttered and heavy duty seals to block out the light and noise from the main road below. The hotel's reception has been very attentive and accessible ahead of our stay

Great location for the beach, shops, restaurants and all Viareggio has to offer

The carnevale can be seen from the window but it does not pass directly outside the building. The hotel rooms are perfectly fine, a little outdated in the decor perhaps but have very comfy and clean rooms

And when we arrived early were happy to look after our bags before check-in. The breakfast has a wide choice of options, cooked, continental and a large selection of pastries and goodies

Affordable hotel with reasonable accommodation. Could do with a minor makeover. Pleasant staff very helpful.

We've been staying at Hotel London for Carnevale, Feb '26

Unfortunately, I have personally noticed one thing that I see as a flaw; through a door (entirely sealed and without lock), you can hear the neighboring room all too well, unfortunately interrupting a minimum of privacy with your roommates

The room's furnishings are a little dated, but functional, there is a telephone and a TV, the minibar was empty, but given the season these things are not essential

We were in Versilia and stayed at the Piccadilly hotel in Marina di Pietrasanta, clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, small flaw, slightly dated furnishings, we thank Elton and Andrea for their kindness

I’ve been travelling for three months and this is probably the best place I’ve stayed in. Room is updated and renovated. Fantastic view of the beach and sea. Great restaurants right out the front door of the hotel

Hotel which is a stone's throw from the sea, very convenient in the summer. We were there for the Carnival and had a good time

I would have preferred the coffee made at the bar and not the one from the machine that dispensed cappuccinos and hot chocolate. The price of the room was very good. However satisfied and would happily return!

We’re just a bit disappointed about the beach because when the afternoon arrives, the water has many sea moss and there were some dead jellyfish also. But our experience with this hotel was very great!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

The toilet reeked of piss real bad and I literally cleaned it with alcohol wipes myself as it just made me feel so sick (there were stains on the seat)

The rooftop terrace is a nice plus too! As they serve the breakfast inside now in october, there was plenty of space on the rooftop to do morning yoga there with a stunning view

Very nice hotel! I liked it a lot! As a solo female traveller I felt very safe as there was always someone at the reception and as it’s directly at the main walk

Located 5 mins walk from the beach or if you prefer right beside a fabulous park where you can hire bikes. There is excellent range of restaurants if you prefer to eat out although eating in the hotel is fine

Traditional resort hotel, the Bella Riviera is very central in Viareggio, on the main beach road

We loved our stay hotel Katy, great location near the beach, shopping and restaurants! I My only complaint was when we checked in no one bothered to explain how the beaches work and that there is no free public beach access! We left to go to the beach and walked around for an hour trying to figure it all out, only to return to the hotel, where then they explained how it all worked

She then gave us a few close private beach club recommendations where we were welcome to pay a small fee and get a spot on the beach

Only stayed for a night but good 3*star hotel. Would happily stay there again. 10 mins walk from the railway station and close to the restaurants and beach.

This very comfortable and modern hotel is very centrally located in Viareggio. It has nice light in room and we had a view over the lovely garden space at the entrance of the building

We have never met a more welcoming or kind staff at any other hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Hotel Spinelli made our New Year’s Eve in Viareggio one that we will never forget! The food was incredible and our room in the apartment building next door was extremely comfy and spacious

Everything you could wish for for breakfast. We rented bikes from the hotel for 10Euros a day. We’ll worth it as it’s great to cycle about in Viareggio

You can rent a beach umbrella and chairs for the day at a few beach clubs very close by and even rent a paddle boat. Gracie ancora mille, ti apprezziamo!
