Centrally located on main street near the lovely central square of town. Unprepossessing big building with many levels and stairs, but the spacious and decoratively painted (frescoed?) breakfast room reveals its former grandeur. Small bedroom like a monk’s cell: wrought iron bedstead with hard mattress; badly sited loo; sink with no plug. St Frances would have felt very much at home. Very modest breakfast. A nice Brazilian couple manage the hotel

Here we go: Unfriendly unhelpful staff, with a default attitude of 'No, not possible'. Dark and dingy room on top floor with a very small window near the floor (it was supposed to be an upgraded room for which we had paid extra; I dread to see what a standard room looks like). Bathroom in dire need of renovation. The shower alternated between scolding hot and freezing cold every 3 seconds. Rusty doorframe on shower stall, doors didn't slide easily. No bathroom mat. Noisy airconditioning unit prevented us from sleeping. Only one nightstand had a bedside lamp. Terrible breakfast selection, only toast bread, and no tea. We went out for breakfast to a little place across the street. There was an overflowing dirty ashtray full of butts on a common terrace which had been rained on and not emptied for a very long time I would definitely dissuade anyone from choosing this hotel

Beautiful Hotel and bedroom in a lovely Place Breakfast was perfect The only thing to mention is that the bedroom and the hotel was cold at this time of year in Okt there was no heating on in the room

Very pleasant hotel in convenient location in a gorgeous town.

We enjoyed our stay here - the rooms are reasonably priced, clean and centrally located in the small medieval town.

We happened to be here on a Sunday when it was super hard to get in and out of town without a car. (We we’re hiking across Umbria). We wanted to go to nearby Montefalco for the day and one of the employees offered to drive us there! Amazing hospitality - we are very grateful.
